My husband, Wayne, and I moved here in 2004 with our four children. He is a local Pastor at Grace Bible Fellowship in Oostburg. Our roots come from Southwest Michigan in a small town called Jenison. Our kids are all grown up, married with children and now was the perfect time for us to invest in a place where we can share our hospitality and love for people.

Sandalwood, is on the south side of our adjoining properties. We always had hopes to one day own and renovate it for the purpose of turning it into a place where guests can rest, relax and unwind. With that in mind we have designed the property for our guests to immerse in the natural setting that Sandalwood has to offer.

Owners live north of the property. We are close to the City of Sheboygan , Kohler, Milwaukee and and hour away from Green Bay to catch a momentous NFL game at historical Lambeau Field. All of these cities have attractions to many to count.

Sandalwoods Lake Access Points:
The lake level has progressively gone down since 2019 and we are seeing signs of beach recovery. The access points below have minimal beach to sit and enjoy the view, but you will be able to walk on the beach from the North access point which will take you all the way to Kohler Andrae State Park if you are feeling ambitious. You can certainly swim in the lake from our access points:

Going South on Cardinal Lane: Once you see a paved cross street called Foster Rd, it will be at the end of that road, which dead ends to the lake. If you take your car down by the access, parking is permissible on the North side of the road, facing West.

Going North on Cardinal Lane: Once you see a paved cross street called Townline Rd, it will be at the end of that road, which dead ends to the lake. This access, on a calm day, walking North, will lead you to Kohler Andrae State Park.

As an alternative, I would recommend Kohler Andrae State Park as an option for your beach experience. It is about a 5-minute drive from Sandalwood. There are available brochures about the park in the magazine rack by the dining table.
