Positives: 1. Check in was easy2. The host was responsive.3. The decor felt nice, house is old and has some bumps and bruises, but their reno was decent.Negatives: 1. The house was hot upstairs. I loved that they had floor fans in the room to try to mitigate the heat, but it didn't help much.2. I've stayed at many houses through Vrbo and BnB and have never had to start the laundry before we left, so I thought that was a bit much for checkout. 3. The beds did NOT seem like the size of queen beds in any of the rooms. They definitely felt more like doubles to me.4. The soap dispenser was completely out in the upstairs bathroom. I messaged the host and they apologized and stated they'd make sure their cleaner was aware.

Nice room

Nick was in touch very nicely to assure we had what we needed and our arrival went well. Our stay was very short but comfortable. Nicks home and the room we rented was clean. Thank you Nick for accommodating us.

Suited Our Needs

We enjoyed our stay here and had a good time. Nothing overly special but it was clean and had plenty of space which is what we wanted. It was also nice to have a backyard to grill and hang out in. There isn’t much within walking distance which is the only downside. Overall, a nice place to stay, but I would recommend staying with a large group because it is a little pricy.

Definitely not handicap accessible

My husband is handicap and uses a cane and a mobility scooter. I saw that this one said it was wheelchair assemble, which it has a ramp to the back door but in order to unlock the house you have to use the front door which has about 10 steps to get too. Once you get inside the kitchen door way is not wide enough for a wheelchair to fit through. There are railings going up part of the stairs but the one side only goes partly up and my husband only has use of his left hand so he wouldn't be able to go up the stairs. Upon booking, I knew the bedrooms were upstairs and I should have asked about the railings. He was not able to go up the stairs and had to sleep on the couch. However, when we got here and I realized this house wasn't up to handicap standards I asked for a partial refund so we could get a hotel. The host refused and told us there was an air matress in the closet for him to use but there is no way he could physically get up off the mattress. Also, the bathroom is so small he wasn't able to acess the shower or anything because it is too small for a shower chair. This house definitely does not meet the ADA standards of handicap accessible.

Nice Place

Good place close to Capitol district, ball field, concert venues, etc. A lot to do close by. Nothing fancy by any means but a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to plenty of entertainment.

Omaha zoo trip

Went as a family on zoo trip. Excellent location, located close to downtown and zoo. House is very clean with all the amenities that you need.

Mini Vacation

My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with our stay! Checking in was a breeze! The house was very clean and so cute. The kids LOVED the stairs of course! Nick was very quick to respond to any questions I had! We have no complaints at all! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay there again!

We both love to travel, and usually, we travel outside of the USA once a year for at least 3 weeks, our goal is to make traveling a larger part of our lives in the future. And much more...
