Welcome to The Pumpkin Cottage!
sparkling clean, great for families!!!
has fire pit, grill, picnic area out back!!!

1 mile from Bentley Gate and VCC at Ft. Sill
Next to Sheridan Road, across from City Park, quiet neighborhood!
Guests will have whole house -- including 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, yard and carport

Well stocked kitchen -- pots, pans, bakeware, dishes, silverware, etc.
Just bring your groceries!

I will be meeting you at checkin.
Checkin is between 3 PM and 8 PM and less other arrangements are made in advance of booking.
At arrival, I will give you a short tour of the house to go over some basics and then give you the key.
I am always available by text messaging if any problems or questions arise!

4 outdoor security cameras clearly visible for safety -- one covers front door, one covers the side of the carport, one covers the side walkway, and one covers the back yard.
They are only monitored when the house is UNOCCUPIED unless there is concern and a reason to view them when guests are present.

We really enjoyed our stay! The fireplace was absolutely the highlight of the trip — plenty of firewood provided, and it made the evenings feel warm and magical. The property also had charcoal grills available (just be sure to bring your own charcoal — there was a half bag left from a previous guest).The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook, including spices and condiments, which was such a nice touch. In addition to basic appliances, there was also an air fryer, toaster and drip coffee maker. The decor was fun and fall themed. The home itself felt cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and slowing down.The only downsides were that the beds weren’t very comfortable and could definitely benefit from some mattress toppers, and there weren’t quite enough blankets to snuggle up in the living room.Bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner, but water pressure was very low (and don't run any water while someone is showering!) Not a deal breaker, but I'm a shower snob! Overall, though, it’s a lovely, comfortable place to unwind — especially if you’re looking to spend time by a roaring fire. We would definitely stay again!

Older house, tidy. Alot of nick knacks, up high away from kids reach which was good for us. Great back yard space and fire pit! Had everything for cooking both inside and out.

Bootcamp Graduation

My large family visited Lawton for my sons graduation and made The Pumpkin Cottage our home for 3 days. Suzanna was a gracious host and consistently helpful from start to finish. The Pumpkin Cottage was cozy, comfortable and has great energy. Thank you Suzanna for making our stay in Lawton feel like home.

pumpkin cottage

We had a great time and the cabin was nice but we were disappointed by the rules of the house that were not disclosed to us until a few days prior to us leaving for out trip. We were not told about not being able to wear shoes in the house and the total amount of people we can have visit us. The purpose of the trip was to visit family. The hostess was nice but their was a lot of personal items in the cabin based on a theme that was not disclosed to us and not visible in the pictures. Also it was not clear what items we needed to supply and what was available to us. Overall we had a good time and the beds were great to sleep on.

Great house

Very clean! Host was fantastic, very engaged to make sure you have the best stay possible. Very comfortable house. Fantastic backyard with giant fire pit. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay

The Pumpkin cottage was great! Susanna was so easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our last minute changes. The cottage is just minutes away from food and about 15 mins away from the base. I would stay here again!!

Best host EVERRR

Susanna Venator was the BEST HOST EVERRR !!! when I say that she has ALL of the bases covered I mean every word !!Very nice,hospitable,friendly and genuine ! The Pumpkin Cottage had everything that u wnt or need and then some !! And that's a promise !! Including gated parking if u need it !!! AND she has 3 Vrbo houses on this exact same block !!! This is the only place that I'll ever stay when I visit Lawton,OK!!OK!!! Thx Susanna !!

Quaint getaway or home away from home.

Lot of space to move around. Had fun around the fire Pit, sang songs. Would be very warm in the winter time. You won't regret staying here. Landlord bends over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you so much for letting us stay here.

Excellent BCT Family Day Spot

We rented this property for our Soldier’s graduation from Basic Combat Training. It was the perfect place for us to spend the day relaxing with our family and our Soldier. There was a fire pit and a grill with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. We were able to get groceries nearby and cook all of our meals at home. The house was clean and Susana was an excellent host. She even had camp chairs to lend us for the graduation ceremony. I am SO glad we did this instead of staying at a hotel and eating out for meals!! We were able to spend so much more precious time with our Soldier before he heads off to AIT.
