This is the attachment to the main house, left side, with a private entrance, for the traveler who wants to stay in the countryside and have the benefit of being in the town, with a 7-minute drive to unique shops, restaurants, malls, bars, live music, and other attractions. The house is situated on almost one acre of land in the heart of the beautiful Town of Fairview, the upscale part of McKinney.

Quiet retreat

Nice relaxing area. A shopping are is about 8 minutes away. Parking is within site of guest house/room. Communication with the owners is excellent. It is not a theme park setting with pools and rides nearby.

Clean and cozy!

We love this property

We have stayed here many times and each time we feel like we’re staying with friends. This guesthouse is perfectly appointed and has so many details that have made us feel like we’re staying at a “home away from home”. Thank you Ben and Maria!

Perfection

This place is a true gem…. We loved everything about it! The owners took care of the small things that others tend to overlook such as: The towels …. Super plush and soft Blow dryer….. small but mighty (I’m throwing mine away and buying one just like it! Toilet paper…… no one ply here for sure. Seriously though, it was a perfect and peaceful stay.

Charming farm life so close to the city!

A nice property with good managers, a lovely space and all you need to stay a day or week or more. Close to shopping, major roadways. A very nice stay!

Just what we were looking for

Love this quiet retreat

This was our second stay at this property. We love it for many reasons - quiet, clean, cozy, every amenity we needed and close to McKinney for visiting family there. Maria and Ben are wonderful hosts and make this place warm and welcoming. We look forward to our next opportunity to stay here.

Perfect stay at a great location

My husband and I were in town for a couples get away. Our house had everything we needed and was a great size for the two of us with every amenity we needed including shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The house was very nicely decorated and serene as well as the surroundings outside. I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners (his name escapes me at this moment) and he was very nice and helpful and was very willing to help with anything we needed or give suggestions for things to do in the area. The location is very centrally located with many things to do only a short distance away yet the location itself was very quiet and peaceful. If in the location again, we would definitely want to stay again.

Wonderful property

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay for our quick visit to McKinney. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. This guest house had every amenity we needed and was comfortable, quiet and restful. We hope to be able to stay here again soon.

Country oasis

Owners Ben and Maria have worked hard to attend to every little potential guest need in this inviting efficiency spot. Charming details make the place special, from the retro red fridge, to the dry bar with a variety of crystal glasses for every conceivable type of wine. For morning caffeine needs, there is a bright, shiny, tea kettle with a wide variety of teas as well as a keurig with a variety offering of pods and creamer options. The bed and linens are comfy and cozy and there are many upscale, prepaid entertainment options on the television. The Golds are eager to offer assistance if needed, but also respectful of guest privacy. A word of caution to anyone who finds climbing steps challenging; the bathroom is. a short flight up from the bedroom. The location, between Fairview and McKinney is close enough for convenient runs into town, but far enough out to offer the getaway feel of the country which is especially important when one is escaping from the busyness and demands of city life.
