With popular outdoor features for family fun, you can lounge in the sun on the large beachfront deck or enjoy a refreshing dip in your choice of pools... the beachside outdoor pool or the enclosed, all-weather heated pool. There's even a kids' pool and a small lazy river where you can float your cares away.

SAVOR YOUR MORNING COFFEE (or evening cocktail) while sitting on your private balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. The north end location provides a more naturally secluded atmosphere. Take a break and enjoy a few hours at nearby Heritage Shores Nature Preserve, just a few blocks away at the end of 53rd Avenue. The 7-acre island park has walking paths, picnic shelters, boardwalks, a boat dock and more.

RESORT-WIDE WIFI is provided so you can stay conveniently connected. Some condos offer attractive off-season monthly rates November through March for extended winter stays. NOTE: Sunrise Pointe is a tobacco-free vacation resort (smoking and smokeless), including balconies and grounds. Violations will result in a $100 fine per infraction. Motorcycles, trailered vehicles and/or high-rise vans are not permitted. Garage clearance is 8' 6".

Great stay!

My family enjoyed our stay! We had beautiful weather and a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony, which is big enough for all six of us to sit on. The rooms were a bit smaller than they appear in the pictures but it wasn’t too much of a problem. The kitchen was well stocked, we were easily able to cook our meals. Overall, it was a great week at the beach!

Overall unit was what was advertised, quality of mattress in all 3 rooms were not great and sheets felt like plywood so take your own. Coffee pot quit working, we were promised a replacement the same day (reported by 10am) but it didn’t come until I reported it again the following morning, No issues with the VRBO side of reservation.

When we arrived, the furst bedroom had what appeared to be a huge blood area on the mattress cover. Considering they do not have the beds made, how can the cleaning crew not see this? (First pic) then bathroom floor for that same bedroom had hair all over the floor. We called Thomas Vacations and they resent cleaners a couple hours later to replace the mattress cover and reclean the bathroom. We list our first few hours dealing with that and waiting around. Overall cleanliness was just okay. Floors left your feet black. Overall condo cleanliness left an unclean feel once we saw the few issues. Staff was short with me on the phone when we called when we arrived and saw the issues. We’ve stayed in this building before but in a different unit managed by the owner which was a far better experience.

Kid friendly ocean front condo

My husband and I came to stay at this beautiful condo with our 3 kids who are 3 and under. My parents also came. The condo was kid friendly and I was able to set up two pack and plays in the bunk room. The walk to the beach was so short that it made our commute with three kids in tow easy. The indoor pool was perfect for our kids and the view was stunning. I do recommend that more household basics are provided. We had to purchase salt and pepper, dish soap ect. We drove almost 11 hours one way and that was the last thing I thought to pack.

Good Experience

The room was not ready when we arrived 30 mins after we were texted saying it was. The floors and baseboards need to be cleaned. The blankets smell, they need to be washed. The garbage disposal was not working and clearly had trash in it! It smelled horrible. Overall, not a bad place.

Perfect family beach vacation

Fantastic condo, perfect for our family. Our 4 year old was in heaven having three beds in "her room" especially the bunk bed. It was a nice surprise to have a bathroom off of each bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and family room was great for relaxing after being at the beach. The pools are definitely on the smaller size, but going in October we didn't expect much rush and it was the perfect amount for our daughter to swim if we couldn't make it out. The view is awesome, even watched a beach wedding from our balcony on our last day! We called and added a day to our vacation, which they were perfectly fine with. Highly recommend.

Everything was very nice. Complex was very clean and in order. Condominium was just how it was advertised. Will definitely stay there again when we have the opportunity. No issies at all.

Beach Stay

Had a major issue with 'someone' continuously smoking cigars which was in our faces every time we sat on our balcony. NMB has ordinance 12-82 that bans ALL SMOKING from buildings such as Sunrise Pointe where we stayed. Calls and two emails to management did not resolve the issue. There isa leak under the kitchen sink that has been there a while because that entire inner cupboard is covered with mold, no hot water at the kitchen sink. Please consider including tv viewing guide and instructions on how to access channels and change the furnace filter as the thermostat flashed "Filter" frequently. A white wicker lamp shade in the living room was found to be damaged when we turned that light on a few days after we arrived. We did not contact maintainence for those things because we did not want to have to contend with the hassle during our vacation. Loved the view, wish we could have spent more cigar-free time on the balcony, Thank You.

Very nice condo

This property was updated, clean and in a great location. The elevator, pools and grounds were kept up as well. I loved not having to keep up with a key. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom which was a huge plus, as well as a full sized washer and dryer. The only suggestion I have is to update the dishwasher and seems you have lost many of your small spoons. Great stay, great place!

Very Enjoyable Vacation Condo

This is a nice area to stay in, whereas you have the convenience of Myrtle Beach for dining and shopping but in a much less touristy area. We’ve vacationed in Cherry Grove for seven years, five of which were condos in Sunrise Pointe, and we’ve have nothing bad to say about the location or Sunrise Pointe.

Amazing condo and location

We absolutely loved this condo and will be sure to book again! It was clean, updated and well stocked. The location was perfect for our family with young kids as this part of the beach was quiet and family friendly. It was easy to park (two assigned spaces per condo) and just a short drive to the main restaurants in cherry grove. Yes the pools are a bit small but it is a small condo complex and it seemed there are several permanent residents so not many kids to use them. We utilized the NMB umbrella and chair rentals and it was worth every penny to be able to just walk down to the beach with the family, sand toys, cooler and towels (not to mention we could go back in for naps and food and not have to pack everything back up!). Thank you for letting us stay, we can’t wait to come back!

Great condo!

The condo was clean and exactly as listed. The pool was cold and there were no floats for the lazy river but the ocean and beach more than made up for it. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. Will be back again!
