Breakers 2173 at Big Fish Rentals

Yes, the beaches, pools, and restaurants are now open! This condo is professionally cleaned and has contactless check-in. It is located in the Breakers Condominium Paradise Tower, which has it all! The condo has an oceanfront view and a private balcony. It has a full-sized kitchen, refrigerator, microwave oven, LCD TVs, and a private bathroom. The resort has heated pools, indoor pools, hot tubs, a beachfront restaurant and bar, and a lazy river and kids' splash area. Enjoy this condo as much as we do!

Other things to note :
Please note that guests will not be able to use the fitness room or the waterslides at The Cove. This room is non-smoking, but smoking is allowed in designated areas outside. This is a personally owned condo, not a hotel room. Please treat it as you would your own home. If you have any problems, we will do our best to take action as soon as possible. There is no one living on-site 24/7, so please contact us if you need anything.

Would Do It Again

The unit was nothing special but it was clean. Could use an update. It had everything we needed. The amenities were very nice but the lazy river could have been cleaner as we found multiple cigarette butts in it. The free breakfast was not great and we really aren’t that picky. Check in and out was easy and fast. Communication was excellent.

Nasty the bed from the wall had a nasty , nasty mark on it , ( mark is not the right word I wanna use). Then they wanna charge you $130. for maid services and you never see the maid not one time. You will be charged for everything, Julie didn't send me this information till the next day , so I couldn't get my refund back.

Great place, and great view

We stayed there for six nights, it was very nice, convenient to everything that we needed. Great beach view even though it is on the 21st floor you could definitely hear the waves and everything. Thank you very much for letting us stay there. we really enjoyed it.

We have been going to the Breakers for years so we definitely love the property - booking thru VRBO was actually easier then booking directly with Breakers and checking in was perfect. My only comment about room is regarding the mattresses - it is definitely time to replace them we could not find one comfortable mattress so we ended up sleeping on Murphy Bed because while that too was uncomfortable it was a little bit better than beds - only comment I have on room - everything else was perfect.

Perfect Week at Myrtle Beach

We could not have been happier with our stay at Breakers Myrtle Beach! The condo had everything we needed and was located within walking distance of everything. Breathtaking balcony view! This was perfect for our family of 4 and we look forward to coming back again!

Annual Myrtle Vacation

Been staying at Breakers Resort for years. First time booking through VRBO. Worked out fine. Unit was as described, slight smell but clean. BigFish Rentals communicated well and check in/check out instructions were clear. Location is within walking distance of several restaurants, ice cream, doughnuts, liquor store, Dollar Store, etc. Oversized vehicle parking lot convenient for large suv with rooftop carrier.

Great getaway!

Check in so easy right at room door, code sent at 4:00pm and go right in, couldn't be easier. Everything was clean and well prepared, instructions were easy to follow and communication was great, I will for sure use this process again.

Clean and great location

We didn’t have a great check in experience but once we got in the unit it was fine. I think check out time is too early.

I would not stay here again. I understand why they have a no cancellation policy - the room is NOT acceptable. Positive notes: clean shower and the beds decent. Even the murphy bed. What was not acceptable, sanitary cleanliness of the room. I travel a lot and this was the dirtiest room I’ve stayed in. I have shared all these issues with the property mgmt who told me my issues were ware and tear with the room. They clearly have not visited this property recently. The room smelled of stale smoke, and the carpets were very old and held in the smell. I bought fabrese and plug ins to try to cover the smell. Didn’t help. Lip prints (from lipstick) on the door and dirty finger prints on all the doors. (Not stains as I wiped some of them). Dirt and grim on the microwave and stove. Broken accessories on the doors. Food from previous guests on the wall by the stove and on the refrigerator. I reached out to the property, who apologized but did nothing to help resolve the unsanitary cleanliness we found the room. I asked multiple times, to multiple contacts to have cleaning supplies dropped off so I could clean. I shared we only had dish soap and bathroom towels to clean with. Never resolved after days of contact. They offered to send cleaners but didn’t coordinate a time. I used the extra set of sheets to cover the furniture. They look dirty and I was not comfortable sitting on them directly. No one had cell phone reception. I would not stay again.

Misrepresented Amenities & Awful Smell

FIRST: room held an awful odor. Old, musty. Simply gross. A few earlier reviews noted such and I should have tended to that with more thought because it was truly awful. On their listing it shows access to fitness center & (coin) laundry, of which there was not. This was quite upsetting as we travel light and are fit family. The lady at the counter apologized but unable to help. She took our information & was going to address the false listing. The fire alarm went off so easily, a lightly toasted bread set it off. The kitchenette itself was SMALL with no counter space & the supplied plates, bowls, etc could not even accommodate the needs of my family eating. The 2 mattresses are simply old & need replaced, and like many pull out couches, its mattress was horrible. The carpet was old (maybe culprit of the smell?) & felt grungy walking on. The positive: surfaces, bathroom was clean, bath towels sufficient.

Short stay

I recommend this place for a short stay but not a week. The kitchen area was really small, no counter space, didn’t have a keurig or all the pots/pans would you would need for a week stay if you are planning to prepare meals. The beds were really comfortable and very nice indoor pool.

We loved the ocean view from this condo the first time we visited! The view is even better than the pictures show. Our young child really enjoys the pools and the beach area. We can't wait to come back!

This unit has a refrigerator, microwave, LCD TV, and oceanfront views. Great location for entertainment in the surrounding areas! The great pool area and lazy river area are perfect for relaxing by the ocean. Steps from the beach!
