Check in/out, communication.... all the things went awesome. The location is amazing being within walking distance of just about any event you are going to attend. We had tickets to a concert at The Embassy Theatre and it made it so easy to not have to find parking, pay for parking and then figure out the walking to and from.

Great place to stay!

We stayed for the weekend for a cheer competition and had a great time. The place was very clean and well taken care of. Host was quick to respond and very helpful to share things around town to do. My only complaints are it was almost 90 degrees the day we arrived and the heat was on in the property so the house 78 inside when we arrived. Also it’s street parking and was difficult to find parking at times.

Peaceful home away from home

My family really enjoyed the stay! Felt very welcoming and comfortable! Easy check in with everything you needed already available for our convenience! Will recommend and also will return if ever needed another getaway in this area!

Home Base for the Weekend

Great, clean home to act as home base while visiting family in FW. Nothing fancy, but whole home was well stocked and check in and communication was a breeze!

Great location to walk to restaurants and the ball park. Highly recommend The Copper Spoon! House was exactly as described. Excellent communication with the owner.

Comfortable, Quiet Home

Beautiful, up and coming neighborhood. Union street market had good, clean food. Older home but was updated nicely. Good communication with owner, would recommend.

Great home and location

This property was wonderful! The neighborhood is adorable and the home itself is very cute and well kept. All of the amenities were very in very good condition. The host was very kind and answered any and all questions we had. It is located in a great place with quick access to many different food and shopping. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy weekend

Stayed here to watch our daughter from college in her track meet. The home was clean and comfortable beds were a little small but other than that no issues. The only option to add would be mixing bowls lol more mixing bowls I made dinner for our daughter and a couple of her friends from college and it was a struggle. Other than that if your going to Fort Wayne stay here it’s a beautiful home.

All the space you will ever need!

It’s not easy remodeling old homes but they did a terrific job on this house. We had 4 people doing back to back showers and never ran out of hot water, fans in every room was great and if you love fresh air the cross breeze was so refreshing. Neighborhood looked uncertain when we came in but there were no issues….all was quiet. Lots of homes in the area were getting remodeled so it will soon be an adorable area. The bathrooms were large and well lighted. Kitchen was fabulous and the owner was great to work with. You won’t be sorry your selected this property.

Winter Break 2023

Overall, it is a very nice property. Clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. The location is convenient to most of Ft. Wayne. We weren’t sure about on-street parking, but had no issues and it was convenient. A nice touch would be a guest book with local restaurants and attractions. Also, a book for guests to sign and leave notes to future renters. Hostess was very responsive to our inquiries and concerns.

First night stay was alright. The A/C stopped working on the second day and notified host. They just gave some simple suggestions, close couple vents, open windows. It was getting up to 80 degrees outside on the third day of staying so I contacted them again and told them no cold air was coming out of the vents so I left for the day and came back to a 78 degree house. Contacted them again and told them I couldn't stay in a house that was too warm for me since I'm sensitive to heat. When I said that I'd have to leave they said they could give a partial refund after the cleaning crew said everything was alright. Next day and there was no response from host and no refund. Vrbo has tried contacting them several times and response. Not a very professional way to deal with customers, just ignore them when there's an issue. Furniture is not very comfortable if you were spending any time in the house and no tvs in the bedrooms. Definitely not worth staying there.

Nice stay

We spent our time with family for a few days. The property is located in a side of town that is questionable. I wouldnt have felt safe walking outside at night. The house itself was comfortable but lacks some conveniences. Lighting in the living room is only recess lighting. No TV's or night tables in the bedrooms. One bedroom has no closet pole for hanging clothes. Just some needed items that could be added for future renters. Overall a nice stay but can only give 3 stars.
