Newly Remodeled--2 Minute Walk to Charley Young Beach--Maui Vista #1216

Welcome to Maui Vista unit #1216! Just bring your Aloha spirit and we will provide all the rest. This unit has undergone a complete remodel as of October 2022. We are the same owners as before and look forward to continue providing our guests with the best stay possible and outstanding customer service.
Your 1 bed, 1 bath unit sleeps 4 and provides you with a partial ocean view from your living room, kitchen and lanai. Your second-floor unit, accessible by elevator, is a mere two-minute walk from Charley Young Beach. Charley Young and the attached Kamaole 1, 2, and 3 beach parks are consistently ranked among Maui’s most beautiful and best beaches.
Maui Vista puts you in the heart of South Kihei. You will literally be within a mile of everything you could possibly need or want. Restaurants, bars, shopping, supermarkets, medical services, and much more. The immaculately maintained grounds at Maui Vista also provide you with three pools, three BBQ stations and three tennis courts.
Our unit does come fully equipped:
Living Room: The living room has all new furniture. Couch, coffee table, end table, lighting, TV console, window A/C unit, 50” LG smart TV, bar stools, etc., etc.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and stackable washer and dryer. All essential cooking and eating utensils, plates, glasses, etc., are included. 12 cup coffee maker, toaster and blender. All appliances are brand new.
Bath: The bathroom has been completed redone. We swapped out the tub for a walk-in shower with rain/waterfall head shower. For those over 6’3” tall, you’ll gladly find the wall attached wand.
Bedroom: A comfortable queen-sized bed awaits you. It’s a brand new, firm BedMart mattress. As with all things in this unit, we spared no expense. The ceiling fan is brand new. Although the bedroom does not have an A/C unit, the ceiling fan and tower floor fans provide for a comfortable and temperate stay. The bedroom also has a 42” LG smart TV (there is no basic cable in the bedroom, only streaming services).
Hallway Storage Closets: Here is where you will find all your beach accessories. Towels for 4, chairs for 4, umbrellas, coolers and more.

My husband and I have been staying at the Maui Vista for over 20 years. This condo was definitely one of the nicest we stayed in. The remodel was very beautifully done. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. I wanted to give it a five star rating but didn’t because the bed was so hard that we didn’t sleep very well. I understand the firmness of a bed is a preference. Other than that I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place to stay.

Our place was spotless, very comfortable & just a short walk to the beach which was perfect. Close to various restaurants & shopping, within walking distance. Very happy here & sad to leave.

Very clean. Owner readily available. Replaced the fan in the bedroom 2nd day we were there. It’s within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Location, location, location.

Great beach access

The condo was perfect for our last minute getaway. Being directly across the street from Charlie Young Beach was definitely the highlight. The condo was clean, well equipped and very comfortable for the two of us.

No air conditioning. There were 6 or 7 fans. This place is a dump. Worst bed ever. Rocks are softer than this bed. Right on the street. Very, very noisy all night long. Bad misrepresentation. Fan in bedroom sounds like a machine gun—-cannot be used because IOf the noise. All in all, a kennel may have been more comfortable.

Short walk to beach

The unit was very close to the beach.. shopping, and food trucks. Was a short drive to kayaking and there was a surfing school nearby. It was well stocked with beach towels and chairs, parking was free and there was on site security who were very helpful and we felt our car and possesions were safe.. Had a kitchen unit and balcony which overlooked rd. The beach was nice and large andWe would recommend this unit for travelers looking to stay in Kehei and who like the beach.

Good kitchen supplies

Easy access to the unit after looking for the exact location of the building. The unit was okay but lacking of trash bin/container. The unit was equipped with all the things you neec for cooking.

Would stay here again

Unit was comfortable & updated / newer design, and with the right amount of guest provisions. Really appreciated that there was not an excess of extras ( ex: owners belongings, excessive bedding/ towels/ beach gear), which provided ample room for guests to store their belongings.

Great location!

Great location, accurate description. Across the street from the beach. Minutes away. I would recommend the stay here for sure! The bed was firm but didn’t really bother me. There’s isn’t AC in the bedroom so some nights were a little warm but we knew that going in and very expected for Hawaii. Overall not a deal breaker. Very convenient to have a cooler and beach chairs! The umbrella sadly was broken :( so we had to rent one. But other than that, we had a lovely stay and would stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This condo was in a fantastic location! Very accurate to the listing and very clean when we checked in. Across from the beach and walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, and a food truck park. Gas station and ABC store just down the street. Parking registration was a breeze. Grocery store is a 5-10 minute drive away. No a/c in the bedroom but there is a ceiling fan and two tower fans which did a great job keeping the room cool at night. Washer/dryer in the unit was amazing to have. Nice amount of cookware/utensils in the kitchen. Beach chairs/umbrella & beach towels were a lovely bonus! A really fantastic stay overall and would absolutely stay again!

Great condo/excellent location

We (husband, tween son and myself) try to come to Kihei once a year and always use VRBO. This little condo ticks all the boxes for us: (peekaboo) ocean view, above the ground floor, washer/dryer in unit, full kitchen, TV in bedroom, 2 minute walk (or less?) to our favorite Kihei beach, pool onsite, great cross flow breezes, comfortable beds, walking distance to many good restaurants and grocery store. We love the stretch from Charley Young/Kam 1 to Kam 2 beaches. I highly recommend this condo. Host’s communication was quick, friendly and informative. Great stay!

First time in Kihei

Being it my first time in Kihei this place definitely is the place to be. To start it was situated perfectly in the middle of places like grocery shops, restaurants, very easy access to the freeway to go into town. The beach was across the street. The place was exactly like the pictures, clean, updated and had amenities like beach chairs and coolers to bring to the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Michael was very responsive with any information and answers that I needed to know. Thank you

Great Kihei location

One of the best locations in the Maui Vista. 2 minute walk down to Charley Young Beach and within few minutes walking to all Kamaole beaches and Kihei amenities. Absolute prime location. Great unit with nice updates but did lack some basic kitchen supplies compared to other units i’ve stayed in at the Vista. Renters are responsible for items like salt/pepper/spices, laundry soap, etc. 4 dishwasher pods and hand/dish soap were provided. Bedroom needs an AC system badly. Sleeping was uncomfortable most nights. Overall beautiful unit and a great stay! Thank you

Very nice condo

This condo is very clean, well stocked, and a three minute walk from a very nice beach. Great place to come back to after a fun day out exploring. Complex is friendly and parking is easy. This unit is overlooking a busy street so we didn’t spend much time on the lanai, as the traffic was pretty loud. No AC in the bedroom but the fans were much appreciated and helpful. Mattress is very firm. Everything was super clean and owner was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely stay!

Maui Sunsets

This unit was just fine for the two of us. It is convenient to the beach just across the street. The road can be a little noisy but the plumerias were in bloom and smelled wonderful. The property is well maintained and convenient for walking to restaurants or shops.

Clean, updated, and great location!

This unit was perfect for our stay on Maui! The owner of the unit was extremely accommodating, friendly, and communicated efficiently with us. The unit was clean, AC worked great, and we had zero issues the entire time we were there. Loved it, would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We loved our stay in this condo. Everything had been remodeled. It was so clean and new! We especially appreciated the queen bed. It was so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities. There were plenty of towels and nice beach chairs, mats, etc. Mike was easy to contact and to communicate with. The view of the ocean from the lanai was partial but the sunsets were beautiful.

Great Location!

My time in Maui was fantastic! The condo was in a great location. It had all the amenities I needed to make me feel like I was home in paradise. I only had to contact Michael one time, but he was very responsive and was a great help! I would definitely stay here again. next trip is 2025!
