Short Trip

I booked this unit because I was touring University of Tampa with my daughter. The place was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was all we needed. My only issue was there weren't sheets given for pull out couch but we easily got them from front desk and we had issue with key once because I store it in the back of my cell phone which apparently wipes key out so had to get it reprogrammed. Would and will definitely stay again.

Just OK. Would not rush back.

The pace is dated. And the kitchen floor was sticky and filthy. I cleaned it with paper towels and then a disinfecting cloth. They started out black until the floor became clean. Asked for a corkscrew. Housekeeping never responded. If you don’t mind cleaning up the kitchen and a place that is stuck in 1992, then it’s okay for the price. I would not rush back.

Weekend Get Away

Property was very nice. Staff and Security people were super nice and polite. Our unit was nice. Furniture and decor is a little out dated. Still enjoyed our time here immensely.

Nice locations but...

Great location close to the airport. As advertised, it does NOT have its own beach but there is one within walking distance. Complex is nice but could use a 'facelift'. I had asked if laundry was IN UNIT - meaning - in the suite we were in, and was told it was. It is NOT....there is a laundromat on the property (which the pictures show) but NOT in each unit. Had no hangers in the closet and was only left with 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper. The front desk staff was nice enough to give us both when asked. Cute bar around the pool and there was live music on some nights. When going down the road (Rocky Point) to the complex, the Sailport sign is hidden behind some trees so we missed it, as apparently others have too. The location is good although you do need a car to access restaurants, sights, etc.

Nice but outdated

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only one restaurant on property but the service and food was very good. Draw back the property definitely could use some upgrade. Sleeper soafer was worn and very uncomfortable to sit on and the rug need replacement. Extercise equipment definitely needs upgrading too.

Sail port hotel suites

View was wonderful. Staff was good. Very quiet and clean. Kitchen was not well equipped with only one teaspoon, 2 coffee mugs ,no wine/cork opener. Would like a auto drip coffee maker, instead of K cups. Felt bad having to ask for more k cups. Bed was very uncomfortable . waking every morning with a back ache. Other than that we enjoyed out stay. Enough room for the two of us.

I do not recommend.

It appeared that we were renting from an individual, which was not the case. The unit was dirty, including grated leftover cheese on the counter, a diirty bathroom floor and the tub had cracks in the surface. When we were switched to an "upgraded" unit the furniture was worn and shoes were required at all times because the floors were dirty. The property has potential but lots of deferred maintenance issues. Also, the main elevator was out of service the whole week.

Sailport waterfront suites Tampa Fl.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the pool and non swim able beach were nice . The room was comfortable and clean. The room could use some updating especially the tub ,as the gel coat was peeling off of it. The one elevator for our building was out of order 4 of our 10 days including our exit day causing us to haul our bags down 3 flights of stairs.. still overall we were satisfied.

Water views everywhere!

We enjoyed our 11 night stay very much. It seems that all units have a water view which was wonderful. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the unit was acceptable. A few minor downsides were that elevators were slow and didn’t always work, TV was out for a day, and the toilet didn’t work well upon arrival but was quickly unstopped. The kitchen also wasn’t well furnished- we had 3 teaspoons, 3 coffee cups, and no baking sheets for our full size oven. That said we still enjoyed our stay with its beautiful water views.

Great Location, Beautiful Setting, Old/Shabby Rooms and Bath

Spent a week in Tampa visiting family and friends. Positives: location to nearby beaches, restaurants, Tampa airport; beautiful setting; onsite bar/grill, pool, patio seating and sandy beach area; very friendly, helpful staff (Shonee at the bar/grill and Dawn at the front desk are GREAT); large laundry facility; plenty of parking. Negatives: old, beat-up furniture, nonworking dishwasher, moldy shower curtain (we bought a new one at Target and left it there), chipped/stained tub and floor tiles; bed was supposed to be a Queen - it was a full size only (we measured); microwave was dirty, had food baked on; pieces of food left on the dining area floor from previous lodgers. We'd love to return IF rooms/furnishings are updated and more attention is paid to cleaning.

Perfect stop over

We needed a place to stay for one night before moving on to Clearwater. The pool was excellent, and my kids had a great time. The food was delicious and very convenient to have it right next to the pool. Swimming in a heated pool while next to the ocean is a beautiful thing.
