Waterfront w/upper sundeck and private pier located near Rock Hall, sleeps 18.

NEW KITCHEN REMODEL in 2024. "Nauti or Knot" has been refreshed! Now available and filling up fast. Fabulous waterfront property located on Grays Inn Creek with 4' MLW and a private dock with an area to launch kayaks and small boats. "Nauti or Knot" now accommodates up to 18 guests. Lots of waterfront space to relax on the 2nd floor sundeck or read a book on the 1st floor screened porch. Enjoy the scenery and watch the boats go by or explore the area by kayak and/or paddleboard (provided). Bring your fishing gear or crab nets and fish right from your own dock. Enjoy family and/or friends in the waterfront TV/Game room while watching the boats and osprey of the area.

The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms (2 king rooms, and a queen room) with 3 full bathrooms, a large open design kitchen, dining and living room. There is a large screened porch to relax and watch the waterfront activities. A picnic table to casually dine enjoying local cuisine and crabs.

The second floor has 4 bedrooms (1 King, 1 daybed with trundle and 2 bunkrooms), and 2 full bathrooms as well as a powder room off of the large waterfront TV/Great Room.

Bring your own boat or jet ski's and dock them on your private pier. Or use the provided kayaks and paddleboards to explore the area by water.

The town of Rock Hall is close by with its own beach, restaurants and local shops to explore. Or visit, the historic town of Chestertown, also nearby with more restaurants and shops to explore. And don't miss visiting the Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge nearby.

The property was exactly as described. Spacious, clean, plenty of parking available. Checking in was easy. Use of boat ramp nearby to get out our boats in and out of the water was convenient. Having the kayaks and paddle boards available to use was great too. Our extended family of 15 enjoyed our 4 night stay!

Spacious Vacation House near Rock Hall

Our extended family of 16 spent the 4th of July Weekend at "Nauti or Knot". The 7 bedrooms could easily sleep 18. There were sufficient bathrooms for everyone. One unique feature was a dining room table that could seat all 16! We had ample lounging areas with an upper deck, a lower screened-in porch, and 2 family rooms. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards on Herringtown Creek and Gray's Inn Creek. The younger kids enjoyed the town beach in Rock Hall and the fireworks. The property manager, Diane, was responsive to requests. There were some minor maintenance issues, and the hot water had a sulphurous odor.

Wonderful large house. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. The kayaks and SUPs kept our kids busy all day!A bonus was all the wildlife in the creek that the kids got to discover.

Beautiful Home, Serene Location

This property was a dream come true for our 25th reunion weekend. The house is spacious and well appointed, clean and comfortable. The property and location can't be beat, and there were ample kayaks and paddle boards for our entire group to enjoy. Because there were two spacious living rooms, and a huge sun porch, both the adults and the kids had ample space to enjoy games and camaraderie without tripping over each other. Though you do have to drive to town, it's only a 7 min commute and worth every second. Plus, you can easily enjoy a leisurely walk in the beautiful neighborhood, where everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend for your next group connect!

Excellent family vacation house

We did a family trip with three generations. For those looking for space for a lot of people, this is it. What was wonderful was that the master suite was on the lower floor so senior citizens did not need to worry about stairs, there is even a wheelchair accessible ramp to get into the house. There was a great big long dining room table that was perfect for all of our needs. There are two big comfortable living rooms, one upstairs one downstairs, so there were multiple hangout places. The screened in porch was also highlight. The kayaks were a great treat, a number of us went out. Also, we were only about nine or 10 minutes from restaurants and markets. It was a perfect day for us.

Yoga, Barre and YOU Retreat

My friend and I hosted our first retreat for 13 women. The goal was Mind, Body and Spirit! This house was more than we even expected. We had so much space for yoga, barre, and games. It rained most of the weekend, but the views were great! We saw a Blue Heron and 2 Bald Eagles! So clean and spacious! We are looking forward to booking next year!

We really enjoyed everything, location and house was really great. I think neighbors should be more understanding, that it is a vacation property so some sounds should be expected.

Very Pretty, But Can Use Some Work

Riding through the neighborhood to get to the property is a bit unnerving, especially at night with no lights, but upon arrival everything initially smelled really fresh. Unfortunately, the water smelled like sewage (much less than ideal for cooking and showering) and opening up the closets revealed that the cleaners did not look in closets to clean used linens thrown about from previous visitors. Even the linens that were laid out to make up the beds had hairs in and on them. Most concerning was that when I went to grab a plate out of the cabinet, it was full of chocolate chips - I don't know who would have done that, but I know that no one had checked the dishes and cabinets for them to have been there. The other notes were that there were no blinds or curtains on several of the large windows, which was a security concern at night and caused the house to be unbearably hot from the sun during the day, no matter how low we set the thermostats. The individual thermostats are also not intuitive to use. Lastly, some of the TVS didn't work and some only worked if you stood right under them. The view was beautiful to wake up to, but the property left a lot to be desired, especially for the cost in the off season.

Wonderful Time at Nauti or Knot

We ( a group of 16 women) enjoyed having our annual retreat at Nauti or Knot. We stayed for a weekend and the accommodations could not have been better! The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful. The living room was able to sit 16 comfortably and the dining room table was big enough for all of us to have dinner together. This is an excellent house!! Our only complaint and it’s minor is that the freezer door was really hard to open.

50th Anniversary

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with my husbands 3 brothers 4 sisters along with their spouses. They flew in or drove from California, Texas, Tennessee. Maryland and Virginia. The house was perfect for this group. Lots of space plus lots of bathrooms.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at Nauti or Knot. The property was beautiful, spacious, clean and as described. The amenities were plentiful and thoughtful. Diane was easy to reach with any questions. We would love to stay here again! Five stars!

Rock Hall family spot

This place is the hang out spot. We were in town for a wedding and had a big group of family with us. This place had plenty of space, a great screened in porch, fire pit, swimming and water toys to enjoy. The birds, bald eagles are fun to watch as well!

Great home to rent for multiple families!

4 families enjoyed this beautiful, spacious, clean home for four nights. Most of our time was spent outside kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, grilling and sunbathing! We saw many bald eagles as we sat and enjoyed the large backyard. Bring your binoculars:) We enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table and loved the screened in porch. So happy we rented this home in Rock Hall!

Perfect for 15 women gathering!

This house was beautiful, clean, modern, everything we needed. Loved the huge table and living-room areas where all of us could be together. Weather wasn't great, so we didn't do anything outside, but the house alone was perfect. Host responded quickly, kitchen was fully equipped. Will definitely consider for our next stay!

Fun weekend away!

The house was amazing— comfortable, bright and airy with lots of space. The kitchen was well-equipped, and everything was clean and in good working order. The huge dining table was a great place for everyone to gather comfortably for meals and games. We would love to return.

Perfect Getaway

The property is BEAUTIFUL and very accommodating. The layout is perfect and spacious. I give the owner a 10 out of 10. I can tell everything is well thought out to make your stay a perfect and wonderful experience. This property was the topping on our family Thanksgiving.

Perfect wedding weekend getaway

Booked a weekend here for our nephew's wedding in Chestertown. We looked for a place to accommodate up to 10 adults not too far from the venue and this fit the bill perfectly! Spacious, airy, and has gorgeous views of water. Can't say enough about Diane. Answered every question, and was even accommodating as we added an additional day. Highly recommended and we're already trying to determine when we'll return.

Awesome!

The house was very suitable for our group of 14 ladies. Although we did not use the three top bunk beds, two of the ladies volunteered to sleep on the sofas. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the screened porch, the great room and large dining table. We would definitely like to return to this rental house.

Great place for our family!

This was a great location for our whole family to stay together! We were comfortable and loved the house. It was fun learning to use the kayaks and paddle boards, and we drank coffee looking at the beautiful view each morning.
