Location was fantastic. We had a very short - maybe fifty feet max - walk to the poma lift, which is convenient in the morning. The large mud room and the garage are awesome for all the ski gear. How was well stocked with everything that’s needed to cook at home. We were able to park two large SUVs right next to the condo. Walked maybe 7-8 minutes to dinner multiple nights. Do need to be able to ski Silver Knife comfortably late in the day to truly ski back…if you stayed in the village after 4 however the walk home with your gear wouldn’t be to bad. Would highly recommend and would stay here again with our group six.

This is a great location for skiing Big Sky. This is a great space for family gatherings. Very clean and owner is very responsive to questions regarding the property.

Great location. Perfect for our family

This unit is 1 min walk to the T bar lift. It has a garage which was perfect. The place is nicely equipped and plenty of space. I would stay there again no problem.

We have stayed in the Bighorn condos several times over the years. This place was well maintained, clean and roomy for the 5 of us. The ski-in, ski-out feature is such a plus!

Amazing Ski-In/Ski-Out Stay!!!!

We stayed at this condo with friends for a ski trip and had the best time!!! This location is perfect and so close to the T Bar for mountain access and also a short walk to the base for apres festivities. The condo itself is very well equipped and clean. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this condo.

Ski in and out

Great SKI in Out location just walk across the street to the Poma lift. Only issue with the cleanliness of the property was fireplace glass closure needs to be cleaned and some of the plates and silverware had to be cleaned again. Would rent again.

Our ski week was absolutely amazing! The location was awesome and provided access to all the things that various age groups would like to do. The condo was comfortable and well supplied. The owners were quick to respond or any question we had!

Perfect stay for our group

The home was perfect for our extended family of 5 (3 adults and 2 teenagers). The home's kitchen was nicely equipped and there was plenty of wood for nightly fires in the fireplace. Rooms were great sizes and each having an ensuite bathroom was nice. Having a mud room right at the front door was perfect to get ready for the day and to breakdown when your day on the slopes was complete. Best of all was the location. 100 steps from the Bear Back Poma lift was a breeze. We definitely recommend this home and hope to be back for another great family trip in the future.

Great Location

Overall had a great stay here with friends. Lots of good memories made. Super easy walk to the black poma lift, short walk up to the main base area, had enough general house supplies to make everything work, and the hosts were fast to respond and allowed us an early check in at 2:30pm to accommodate our flight. We all really loved the proximity of this place. The only time we ever used a car was to get pizza one night. The reason i didn't rate this 5 stars is because there wasn't enough hot water for 10 people to shower, which was tough after skiing all day. Then, i was charged a cleaning fee while also asked to do chores before leaving. I found that a bit annoying. And the Wifi stopped working on the morning of our last day which made checking into flights and getting boarding passes secured a little difficult since the signal wasn't great.

The convenience of this place is hard to beat… It’s a very short walk up to the mountain village and there is a lift to get on the mountain right outside your front door. The views from the windows are also pretty nice here. And it was very well set up in terms of being able to park your car in the garage and having a big mud room to take off your ski gear before you walk in. The kitchen also had very nice appliances and the washer and dryer worked great as well. Montana rentals are expensive in general, so maybe I’m reacting to that more so than anything here, but for the price, this property is dated and needs a bit of a facelift, especially new mattresses, linens, and towels.

Big Sky Wedding and reunion

This condo is well located in the Mountain Resort, can walk to dinner. The kitchen is well-appointed with tools and condiments, the place is cozy and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which I loved. Could have had a bit more thorough dusting/cleaning but was OK. Plenty of room for all our gear. The host responded to our one concern quickly.

Great location, great condo

As a skier, the first thing that grabs your attention is the access to the mountain. The poma (button) lift is only a few hundred feet from the front door. It brings you up to the bottom of the Silver Nickel run so you can drop right down to the main Mountain Village base area. Skiing home down Silver Nickel is a great run to end your day on. Skiing aside, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to the Village, where you'll find dining, the market, etc. As for the condo itself, it's clear the owners are in "upgrade" mode. This unit has some really beautiful upgrades already in place. The appliances are first rate. The furniture is comfortable and of good quality. The mattresses on the beds are very firm and quite high but we slept well. It took a day or so to learn how to set the baseboard heat to a comfortable level but once we figured it out, it was great. We were dreading the idea that, after 20+ years of enjoying at least one ski week per year, we'd miss out in 2021. But we're glad we found the Big Horn condo, made the trip to Big Sky (a longtime favorite spot) and enjoyed a little Spring skiing! We worked from home a bit, skied a bit, and caught up with old friends. The weather was good, the apres ski on the deck of Big Horn was visually beautiful and comfortable, and we even got some snow. The owners, Tracey and Scott, were wonderful to work with and really have their guests' comfort in mind. We found the unit incredibly well stocked with coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper (2-ply!!), laundry supplies... really well done. We highly recommend the Big Horn condo and it's owners!

We purchased this unit because it is the closest unit to the Poma for ski access and the views of Lone Peak are AMAZING! We refurnished the home with a large leather 10 foot by 10 foot amazingly comfortable sectional with a pull out queen bed, maximizing the number of comfortable seating for the floor plan. This unit is one of the only units that does not back up to other units allowing for amazing views of the mountains, hill sides and the forest on the South side of the unit. During winter, direct sunlight floods the unit through 8' tall 12' wide French doors from 11AM til sunset! Amazing direct natural light with western exposure. Two of the bedroom also get the same full sun! The last bedroom gets sun though-out the morning. Also the deck gets full sun from before noon through sunset for your apres beverages.
