Walk to Serenity Cellars Winery and beautiful Yonah Mountain view!

After a day of hiking and sightseeing, enjoy a relaxing evening on the front porch with a glass of wine and wonderful views of Yonah Mountain. We always leave a bottle of local wine to get your vacation off to a great start! You can also walk down to Serenity Cellars Winery and enjoy live music on the weekends! Our custom built cottage offers 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suite baths on the main level with a spacious kitchen as well as a living area and fireplace. There is also a full basement with a kitchenette, another bedroom with 2 twin xl beds and an attached bathroom, and a theater area with a comfy sectional sofa! The spacious basement includes an air hockey table, shuffleboard table, a full-sized arcade game console (5,000 games), and tons of board games as well as outdoor games. There’s something for everyone!

We loved it!

The house was so perfect for our visit....right across from a winery where we had dinner and enjoyed live music. The house was super cozy and very well decorated. The setup of the house was perfect for our girls weekend and the owner truly thinks of everything. We were also treated to some wine and treats!

Home Away from Home

The property was just as described with a lot of attention to details in to make the stay as comfortable as possible, from the fresh flowers to the food seasoning to the meat and cheese plate and wine. The group enjoyed our stay and wished we had one more day to enjoy the views and share memories at the cottage. :-) Time flies when you are having fun.

Wonderful mountain escape

Loved our stay. This property was more than expected. I felt like I was in a bnb verses a VRBO. They thought of everything, filling the home with cozy items to make you feel special and providing luxury. Thanks again for thinking of absolutely everything my family would need and want for our weekend getaway. We will be back soon.

Amazing Property!

This property had it all. First off, it was decorated for Halloween which my girls found absolutely amazing. Then they were thrilled to find a little basket with goodies for them and a happy birthday sign for my father in law! They really cared and thought of everything. Labels everywhere and all the things you need for a trip- games, condiments, coffee, s’mores, firewood, etc. As for the property itself- what a view! The front patio is super comfortable. The kitchen and living room were greatly appointed. The bedrooms were cozy, and the downstairs area was a ton of fun! Lastly, the owners were super attentive. By far the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at and would stay again in a heart beat.

Fun Filled Cottage overlooking Mt. Yonah

This cute cottage was full of fun surprises. Not only was it immaculate and new, but the kids were overjoyed with all of the details: games everywhere, all the materials for s’mores ready to go, a place to leave their artwork- and so much more! The owners have literally thought of everything (I even took some pictures so I could steal some ideas). From the well stocked coffee bar to the lavender pillow spray, lots of comfy places to sit on the porch when the nights got chilly, amazing smelling blankets on every corner, fresh eggs in the fridge, chairs and an area prepped for a bonfire-I was so pleasantly surprised at all of the thoughtful ideas! Also- the location was PERFECT! For one, it was overlooking mount Yonah so there was a beautiful view, and it was also only 10 min to Helen, so we were able to get there and to some nice hikes fairly quickly. We had the kids so couldn’t do any of the wineries but hope to come back!!

Absolutely amazing stay!

Lovely, modern home and hosts who have thought of *all* the small details. It was great to be away from the touristy nature of Helen, but so close that it’s only a short trip to get there. The front porch very relaxing and was our favorite place to hang out for coffee and breakfast! Walking over to the winery for a tasting was an awesome bonus after a taxing day of braving the crowds of Helen. From a stocked coffee station, to spices, to pots/pans, to plenty of blankets, to games, to popcorn, to smores, Neal and Sally have thought of everything you could want in a home away from home. At multiple times during our stay, we thought “Wow, it would be great if we had. . . “ and we turn around and find it in the house! We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and there was a “happy birthday” banner fixed over the fireplace, a sweet welcome message to us, and a bottle of wine and charcutier board! I won’t spoil it for future guests, but we only wish we had more time to join in the fun artwork request of the hosts! We will absolutely look to book here in the future and will plan a longer trip just to be able to stay in the home longer!

Beautiful views, beautiful house

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Neal and Sally’s house. The house has everything you need and more - so many thoughtful touches that made everything so welcoming and easy. We had the perfect view of Mt. Yonah, a sky so full of stars, wildlife in the backyard, live music wafting up from the winery, a basement full of games. It really was idyllic and yet close to Yonah trailhead and places to eat in Cleveland and Helen. Our entire family (3 teens) wants to come back and stay again.

A Slice of Heaven Close to Helen

Just book it! I visited the Wildberries' cabin for a long weekend getaway with my husband and one other couple. Their property is by far one of the best vacation rental experiences I have had yet. Sally and Neal have done an amazing job anticipating the needs of their guests. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. There are so many little touches that they have put in place to make you feel comfortable and at home. From an arrival gift of wine and chacuterie to lavender pillow spray to wood that was provided for a campfire, we were left wanting nothing during our stay. And you can't beat the peaceful mountain view from the front porch!

This property was great! Great location, great personal touches throughout, awesome front porch. Our only problem was a strong scent on the pillows and bed linens. It was overpowering and caused one of us to sleep on the sofa.

Best Rental House We've Ever Had!

This is a beautiful home in the mountains surrounded by gorgeous scenery, nearby multiple vineyards, and conveniently located near Helen, GA. The property was immaculate and extremely well-stocked with everything you can think of needing. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

It's a great location in every way. Quiet and calm neighborhood. Beautiful views from the front porch and large windows all throughout the house. Plenty of stay at home activities including air hockey, board games and so on. Very close driving distance to Helen. Loved everybit to our stay here!

Absolutely amazing house, views, and overall accomodations!

We had such a wonderful long weekend and cannot wait to return. The house is perfect and the host thought of every single detail! We were so grateful for all of the thoughtful touches and enjoyed the games in the basement, s'mores by the fire, and beautiful views from the front porch each morning with coffee. Quiet peaceful time

Breakfast on the front porch with the butterflies every morning. Smores our last evening at the fire pit. Raucous air hockey battles. Wonderful fun time in Helen. Everything we needed ...plus so much more.

We’ve loved visiting the North Georgia wineries for years. Our favorite winery is Serenity Cellars. One evening while visiting Serenity Cellars, we noticed a for sale sign on a lot across the street! A realtor happened to be at the winery that evening and she mentioned a piece of property a few doors down that wasn’t even on the market yet. We had a contract within 3 days! It was meant to be! We built our dream house a couple of years later and we’re excited to share it with others!

We lovingly designed and custom built this cottage to take advantage of the beautiful views of Yonah Mountain. Sit on the front porch, sipping wine, and listening to the music from across the street or, pack a cooler and head down to the winery to experience the live music in person! Friday nights at the winery are a blast and you can walk home!
