Atypical apartment located in the heart of Bayeux, less than 5 minutes walk from Bayeux Cathedral, the Baron Gérard Museum (MAHB) and the Queen Mathilde Tapestry.
It consists of a very bright Loft part with its large bay windows and composed of a large lounge area, a fully equipped American kitchen and a pleasant dining area.
The corridor deserts the first bedroom (double bed), a bathroom with a shower and a spa bath and leads you to the surprising element of the apartment: a large bedroom (2 single beds) in the 19th century style with moldings, marble fireplace and period parquet flooring.
No doubt you will be immediately charmed!

Apartment was perfect for both my wife and I during a very enjoyable 4 day stay in Bayeux - located right in the centre of town along side all the shops and restaurants. Free car parking was less than a 5min stroll away. Communication with host Camille and the concierge was perfect. Thanks to you both.

Our stay at this rental property was great! It's located directly in the heart of old Bayeux close to shops, restaurants & attractions (Notre Dame Cathedral & the Tapestry museum). The apartment was spacious and the host was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, location…very plain, if you’re staying a short time bring, shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash. Just the essentials provided. Apartment was clean, taken care of and not a bad place to lay your head. But, again, the location was fabulous!

Very nice apartment in a great location! It appeared the apartment building had suffered a leak so it felt damp and a little moldy especially in the toilet area. No fans, so it was hard to dry it out and two of us with allergies suffered because of the damp air. No courtesy shampoo or body wash given which was hard for a 3 night stay with international guests. Other places I've stayed had small bottles for guest use. Minimum # of towels with no hand towels in bathroom. No paper towels in kitchen.

Modern Renovation in Bayeux

Best location we could have asked for. Apartment was modern, clean and both bedrooms well stocked. It was an unusually warm night and the apartment could have used two fans. Do not stay here if you have any disability as there are a lot of stairs to get up. Television pretty good. Large, well stocked bathroom. Host was named Nick, he was friendly and helpful. Useful laundrymat is nearby. Lot of nearby restaurants.

nice location on the Main Street. Easy access to walk to dinner and main attractions. Only drawback was street traffic at night when windows were open.

Great location

The apartment was in a great location easily walkable to restaurants shops and sites. While the apartment was clean it lacked necessities. The beds did not have top sheets or proper pillows just the decorative Euro shams which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. After getting in late and a long day of sightseeing and travel we woke up to no coffee pods. When I inquired where is the coffee we were given directions to a local market. IMO that is absolutely unacceptable. A coffee maker and no coffee!

The apartment was amazing. It was charming, very clean, spacious for a family of 4 and the location was perfect!! We are already planning a return trip!

Comfortable stay in a wonderful location

Camille was very responsive with communications leading up to the stay and Nicholas met us promptly at check in time which was very helpful and appreciated. The apartment is a short 15 minute taxi ride from the train which was convenient. The apartment is as described in the pictures and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is clean. There is no body soap provided so make sure you bring your own.You can not beat the location as you walk out the front door and there are wonderful bakeries, shops and restaurants up and down the quaint street.Two things that need to be addressed:1). the shower is small and is difficult to enter and exit.My 80YO mother was concerned she was going to slip and fall and was reluctant to shower again. If you are older or frail you will have a hard time. I did provide feedback that support rails should be installed for safety and ease of use.2). The front door lock is very difficult and temperamental to unlock. The second evening it took us 20 minutes to unlock the door. Camille was responsive and encouraged us to contact Nicholas. We did, but he did not respond. Bayeux is not a town where you can get a locksmith at 9PM. Tenants should not have to deal w this hassle and it would be low hanging fruit for the owner to just have the lock replaced.Overall it was a great apartment, but the shower issue and the unpredictability with the main door lock would make me reluctant to stay again.

Good, clean apartment in middle of Bayeaux. Property Manager was very communicative and helpful. Could have used extra sheets on beds. Would stay here again.

Great place in the centre of the city

We had a great stay at the apartment. It is well-appointed and comfortable, and is close to all the sights. There are shops and restaurants all around but it was quiet at night. A nice place from which to explore Bayeux.

Spacious and well furnished including the kitchen area in an excellent location. Quiet, good internet. One flight of stairs And the concierge was very helpful including taking our luggage up and back down upon departure.

Exceptional location, cute place

Loved the view and location, right on old Bayeux. Lots of access to the restaurants and the view is magnificent.The check in process was good, they have a concierge service. The building worried us initially because it smelled pretty bad coming in, but the apartment was very clean and nice.

Exactly as described

Great central location, walkable to everything. The bedroom is very quiet despite the busy street. Well-equipped kitchen. Great communication from Nicolas with the management company and easy check in and check out process. Very charming and comfortable!
