Great to have breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the views. Clean and well stocked. No laundry though . Definately a great place to stay

Could not fault this fantastic apartment, it had everything we needed and was welcoming and cosy. It was really clean and the beds were extra comfortable. The views were breathtaking and the location was stunning. We hope very much to stay there again in the future.

A well designed modern accommodation in traditionally styled block of five apartments, commanding outstanding balcony views over the Lauterbrunnen valley towards the Jungfrau in the south and the Leiterhorn in the south. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped.

Fantastic location. Amazing views. 5 mins walk to the station and there is a coop nearby. The apartment is very clean and it has most of the things that you will need. Excellent communications as well.

Unbelievable view, incredibly lovely town!!

We spent 3 weeks traveling through Europe and this was our absolute favorite spot. The chalet is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, beds and 2 full bathrooms. Superb restaurants within a quick walk as well as a grocery store. I think we spent the first day in bed (we needed a rest day) & we just couldn't get over that VIEW.

Weekend break from our vacation and for our Swiss family

Great place for our long weekend for four adults. I was on my 4th trip to Switzerland and hadn't been to the OB yet. This was a great spot. The Swiss person in our group had never been to Wengen before (Swiss people don't go there) and he thought it was great. Very comfortable for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lovely balconies, views are amazing. Well appointed kitchen. My husband was upset that there was no coffee supplied, and no indication of what coffee to buy for the machine in the unit. So if they could supply the first night's coffee, so we could know what to buy would be a very basic thing to do. So yeah, other than the coffee fail, it was very fine

Die Wohnung war Top. Kleinere erwähnenswerte negative Punkte: - Chalet liegt am Hang (Eis auf Weg kann sehr gefährlich sein, Vorsicht) - Fondue Caquelon nur elektronisch (unübliche Handhabung) - DVD war kaputt

Modern, Comfortable, Clean & Amazing Views

This was a great place to stay for our four night with my wife and 2 teenage daughters (17,19). The booking process before we arrived was excellent, the manager’s communication and follow-up on our questions was prompt, and check-in was a snap. The photos of the views were accurate, but seeing the views from the room in person was breathtaking. Hearing the cowbells ring in the background was special. The home was immaculately clean, very modern, and very comfortable. We would choose this home again in an instant.

Amazing views/best property in Wengen

Excellent location with great views! Great amenities and location close to train station and Coop store for groceries etc. Was ideal for our family of 4 with two teenagers who want their own bathroom. Manager is a very nice lady- very accessible. Will stay there again!

Wonderful Vacation Rental!!

This property is wonderful! You can't beat the view from the deck. The location is perfect - close enough to the train station but not so close you can hear it. Grocery store is very close as well as various restaurants. Wengen in general is a great place to stay as it is convenient to many hiking trails and points of interest. The apartment is well stocked with comfortable beds. The only problem we encountered was trying to operate the stovetop and oven since the instructions were not in English. I googled the instructions and was able to operate. The recycling center directions are confusing - be sure to get clear directions. In all we loved this rental and would definitely stay here again. May come back to ski in the future!!

The apartment was beautiful, well furnished, and comfortable. 5 stars. Only c/o was lack of instructions in English on how to use an induction stove. Took some trial and error to discover you had to put the pan on the stove for it to activate. Kleenex and paper towels would also be a nice touch.

An Excellent Rental!!!!!!

We highly recommend this rental property. My husband and I (70's) stayed for 5 nights in September. It is a modern, immaculately clean, very functional apartment with all the amenities. The views of the mountains and valley are terrific!!! We would not hesitate to stay here again!!! The apartment is close to the center of town, the food store (Coop) and the train station. Easy walk to and from town except there is a short steep hill just before the building. It was not a big problem for us (slightly tough pulling our heavy suitcases on arrival) but just want to mention it. Go for it - you will thoroughly enjoy staying here.

Amazing Views

The apartment is just as pictured and had everything we needed for a wonderful 3 night stay in May. The views are spectacular and you have a fairly private outdoor space as there are no other balconies directly in front of this apartment. The large balcony is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon drinks and star gazing after dark. There are four chairs, cushions, a bench, end table and small dining table. There is a gorgeous view from the master bedroom, a comfortable bed, adequate storage and room for luggage. The master bath has two sinks and great storage. Neither bath is ensuite, but this didn't matter to us as we were traveling alone. The second bedroom had good storage but would have been tight for another couple. Perfect for children. The second bath was smaller, but well appointed. The kitchen was terrific and had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Another bonus was the library of games, DVDs and books. We enjoyed watching James Bond movies before our trip to the Shilthorn. This apartment is very thoughtfully furnished! Another bonus was the location. We were tempted to call a taxi as we were tired and each had a suitcase to roll, but it really wasn't necessary. The apartment is an easy walk from the train station and just far enough that we weren't bothered by the lights or announcements from the station. The Coop grocery is just across from the station and also very convenient. InterHome was easy to work with, my only suggestion would be better directions related to the recycling. The Coop grocery store takes most items just inside the store and garbage is in a storage area outside the store. However, glass...think wine bottles...has to go downstairs under the train platform. Marking these locations on the provided map of the town would have been helpful. Also be aware the office is not manned at all times or on weekends so plan accordingly and make sure you know the process for picking up your keys after hours. We made the effort to get there during normal business hours and were glad we did. Parking our car in Lauterbrunnen was easy and our bill for the three days was about 45SF. We would go back to Wengen in a heartbeat and are so glad we stayed in Wengen instead of Murren. Loved it!

First Time in the Alps

Had a wonderful time with my wife. Views are incredible. Would love to come back sometime. It is a little walk away from the train station, but really not that bad. Only complaint I would have is that nobody was at office when we arrived and no phone available to contact them. I was able to send an e-mail and they responded fairly promptly. Would definitely return and hope to do so soon.

First Time to the Alps

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The views are incredible. Does require walking a little ways from train station, though not bad at all. Interhome staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint I would have is that nobody was at office when we arrived and we were unable to call anybody. Sent e-mail and they quickly responded. Would stay here again. Can't wait for another trip back!

Dommage

Pendant trois jours durant notre semaine de location des travaux dans le bâtiment (perçeuse et ponceuse) sont venus nuire à notre tranquillité. Par ailleurs une bâche en plastique bloquait l'accès principal de la copropriété ce qui nous a obligé à prendre une porte à l'arrière. Sinon appartement confortable avec une tres belle vue. Nous aurions aimé avoir un micro onde.

Amazing!

We stayed in Wengen as part of our trip through Austria and Switzerland. We traveled with our two children (9 & 12) and the Silberhorn chalet was perfect for us. Easy to find, great views and close to the local stores and restaurants. Also a quick walk to the train station if you want to venture up to Jungfraujoch or maybe visit Murren on the other side of the valley. We loved our stay and would love to go back!

Can't beat the view!

This was our first time to Switzerland and it is my new favorite country😀 The Silberhorn chalet fit our needs perfectly. We had four adults and we really enjoyed our view from the deck after a day of hiking and exploring. It was very clean and well stocked. Loved going to sleep at night listening to the bells around the sheep's neck below us.
