The farmhouse more than met our needs and the environment is beautiful! Even though it was cold, the grandchildren enjoyed a dip in the pool! And they loved petting the horses over the fence. Having a covered carport was great for the rainy days. The kitchen was well-stocked, and beds were comfortable. Just a few items that might need attention: 1) DO NOT use Google Maps....it will not take you to the house. Perhaps Waze is a better option; 2) owner did not notify me of house code or wifi password until I sent an email inquiring; 3) Showers were a bit on the either "extremely hot or cold" side. Not sure what the issue was. We had 3 adults and none of us could figure out the magic. But we managed. 4) The home Wifi was not consistently strong, and the closed porch TV did not work...but again, we worked around that. I think being in a rural setting, this might be the norm. 5) The home, though comfortable, has older furnishings. Many of the dresser drawer pulls were missing (rendering the drawer useless). Only 1 bedroom had a closet or place to hang clothing. We managed as we were only there a few days. Some of the furniture was well-worn. Overall, we were comfortable. And we considered that we were in a rural town, so just accepted the cons as minor issues.
