Welcome to Grouse Landing a cozy cabin on Back Lake with direct trail access for both ATV and snowmobile season. Cabin comes fully equipped. House can accommodate 8 . Washer and dryer on second floor . All brand new beds, linens and furniture as of June 2020.

Beautiful cabin on Back Lake. Great place to fish, kayak, ATV, and relax! Great that it is pet friendly. Very clean, had all the essentials of home. Fireplace and wood included. Very spacious. Perfect spot

This property is wonderful! Location is top notch. Right on the ATV trails and a beautiful location on Back Lake. My family loved this place (including our chocolate lab). It was very clean and spacious. We already booked again for 2026. An added bonus that we were able to use the paddle boat, canoe, and kayaks.

Great place to stay on Back Lake

Cabin was large, clean, and the attention to small details like several fans, night lights throughout, plenty of blankets, etc were a nice touch. Having a washer and dryer on the property was great. Great communication with the property owner when we had a question. Great spot on the lake with its own dock and lake access plus not far from the public beach area too. I've been going to Back Lake for a long time annually and this was one of the nicer places we've had.

247 Grouse Landing

The house was very clean and it was great being right on the water. I would suggest looking at the smoke detectors. They started to beep on occasion so we checked them out and the dates are old. They were not a problem for our stay but they may need new batteries. Other than that everything was awesome and enjoyed our stay.

Great fishing

We love Back Lake. Great fishing. Nice location. Ducks were friendly. Host did not bother us. Very small bathroom for a full house-glad there was only 2 of us.

Great Location

We came to snowmobile and what a great spot.. access to trails from house very easy. Really enjoyed watching all the other sledders on the lake including the small youth on there small sleds for the first time!

Lots of beachfront

Loved..couch & tv ,view from 2nd floor , homy feel, next to wooded area. Good kichen. Laundry. Lots of beds, good heating & fans Very small bathroom. Traprock on walking surfaces so not muddy, but tough with wheelchair.

Another great stay

It was my family's second time staying at this cabin and we brought friends along this time. It was just as great as our first stay and plenty of room for four adults and 3 kids. One of the days was on the warmer side, so we really enjoyed lighting the fire pit outside and watching the snowmobiles ride by.

Great Cabin in Perfect Location

Everyone knows Back Lake is the place to be and this cabin is great. It is probably the cleanest cabin I've stayed in Pittsburg and it has all the essentials. Plus it has a lot more room than we were expecting. My family is looking forward to staying again in a few weeks!

Property was everything as advertised and so much more. Only a beautiful 20 miles from Canadian border. Fall in all its glory. Homey, welcoming, quality throughout.

Grouse Landing

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 4 of us all adults. The location was outstanding as was my communication with the owner. One of the folks in our group was a returning renter. You can't beat the location, and the ducks are fun to feed too! I would have given 5 stars on the cleanliness as it was clean however a bit dated. The rugs upstairs could really use a good cleaning, they did smell a bit. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Brief but pleasant stay on Back Lake

The property was excellent

We had a good stay the property was excellent unfortunately it was super cold the last night and the pipes froze not his fault. But that left us with no water and unfortunately we could not clean the way we would have liked to. I would definitely recommend this property to stay at.

Peaceful Retreat

Thank you for sharing your peaceful property with us. It was the perfect location inside and out. Quiet neighbors, all the amenities needed, and VERY convenient to hunting and groceries. The loons were a much added bonus! Again, Thank You. I highly recommend this property and will definitely attempt to use again when and if available.
