Your stay at Blübambu will be a relaxing one. you will have your own Villa in front of our pool and jacuzzi and access to our sauna as well. We have a fully equipped kitchen which is shared between the 2 villas for those who would like to cook their meals instead of eating out . We are at 3000ft elevation and the views of the Central Valley and mountains are simply breathtaking during the day and night as it is lit up with thousands of sparkling lights.

We loved our stay

The property was perfect in size with amazing views. Staying in and lounging on the patio was our favorite part. At the same time, the location was perfect to grab a bite to eat (less than 10 min driving) and to attractions (30min-1 hour). We are already thinking of coming back :)

Nice Property

The accomodation has an inviting decor, clean, and nicely landscaped. It also features a pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and a well-stocked shared kitchen.My only issue with the place is with the road noise. The 2 units are just a few feet from the street. While it's not a busy street, there are cars or motorcycles going by every few minutes. For someone, like myself, who seeks out quiet spaces, it's definitely something to be aware of.

Blu Bambu

The VRBO was just as described. Beautiful view but the pool was too cold for us to swim. It was very windy and cold the first 2 days but warmed up nicely. The host, Andrew Heller and his wife were kind and very helpful. Loved the fruit trees and sugar canes on the property. You would need a car to access nearby destinations. The roads a windy and slow moving. CR is known for it's crazy drivers! The small nearby town of Sarchi is not much , but if you have time to travel, the waterfalls/ reserve in La Paz was beautiful and we liked Greecia too. The German gardens in Sarchi are worth the visit. We stayed 6 nights. I think 3 nights would have been perfect. From the airport in Liberia to Sarchi is a 4 to 5 hour trip. San Jose airport would have been closer but we choose to visit the beach at Playa Conchal. We loved the hikes and cool mountain weather. Next trip, we will try and stay closer to Mount Verde and Arenal Volcano. I do recommend the Hellers place.

Slice of heaven

View was breathtaking, A quaint place to stay, Host was very accommodating. Pool in off season was to cold for our liking, but would be wonderful in season. Nice drive to downtown. We enjoyed our trip to see some amazing watersfalls.

Beautiful Views and Space

My husband and I had an amazing time staying at the villa and exploring the near by cities. There is much to see if your willing to drive a little and the local food is amazing. The hospitality from Andrew and his family was superb and his property is beautiful with views to complement it.

Absolutely breathtaking...what a view

First, Andrew and his wife were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely friendly and kind. They were very responsive and were extremely helpful when planning my local activities. I can not say enough about them as host. Now to the accommodations!!! The Property is stunning and the. VIEW was breathtaking. The way the property is set up is you have the main house on top with two little casitas below. The casitas are comprised of a bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed and ample storage and a bathroom with all that you’ll need. Their is an external kitchen casitas share and it had everything you needed with fresh fruit daily. The furnishing and decor was beautiful and a nice mix between contemporary and modern. I learned from Andrew that all of the furniture or at least the majority was sourced through local artisans. Finally you had the pool, jacuzzi and sauna in the same level. All were used extensively. The picture are accurate but I felt the place was much stunning in person. It is a must see. I will be back! Pura Vida!
