With an unbeatable oceanfront location and multiple resort amenities, you'll never want to leave! Small but practical, let this be your place to rest your feet after days and days of fun.

Your reservation includes buffet breakfast for two guests at Magnolia’s at 26th. Tickets are valid only on the date issued. ***Extra breakfasts are available for $10 + tax*** just a short walk from the hotel. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. You will enjoy free Blockbuster rentals during your stay. Also check out the Snack Shack located on the 1st floor of the registration building.

All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.

Nice little oceanfront studio

Basic but clean unit, the bed was very comfortable, large flat screen TV, compact fridge w/freezer worked well. Wonderful breakfast at Magnolia’s across the street from the Carolinian was included. The lady during CHECKOUT was quite kind.

Clean needs updating and strong marijuana smells

The room was clean but could use a little TLC. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the smell of marijuana on the property despite the signs for no smoking. The location was great and view was amazing. Sad part was it was hard to enjoy the view with the marijuana smell strong from our balcony on the 9th floor. The free breakfast (a buffet that was ok) was a bonus and free mini golf. We loved the restaurant the sea captains house was really good and u can walk to it. We loved being right on the ocean. Staff was helpful and nice.

Easy and Accomadating

The room was perfect size for two adult travelers. Easy access to everything on Ocean Blvd. The only down side to the hotel was that it is definitely dated and needs an update/upgrade.

Myrtle Beach visit

The place was perfect for me. Comfy bed and great for a quick visit! I didn’t need the kitchen or microwave but it was there! Once I figured out the parking garage, no issues other than the rain!

Why do people still smoke

Room was good! Loved having the balcony door open to hear the waves of the ocean and feel the breeze, but was unable to enjoy due to cigarette smoke for other units blowing in almost constantly. Other minor things, most metal including bed side lamps were rusty, and towels were rough and hard to use. We really did enjoy our stay! The view and location you just can’t beat!

Wifi does not work AT ALL. When I asked the staff they simply said “we are fully booked so it may not work” people are paying alot of money and that was the response given to me. The older, heavy set, african american lady had an attitude every time you try soeak to her but the other ladies were sweet. Lastly, the bed was horrible. The box spring was extremely loud, leaning to the side and had my body in so much pain my entire stay. Due to them being booked I didn’t bother to request another room. The best thing out of my stay was the free breakfast, it wad good. Will definitely stay at one of the surrounding hotels my next visit. Very dissatisfied.

Its was a nice room.

It was a good room for the price. You would hear the people outside the room. We found 2 spiders in the room. But all in all a decent room just to spend a night.

Relaxing Stay

9th floor ocean view was epic. Spacious living area for the two of us. Housekeeping staff friendly and accommodating. Receptionists were pleasant and knowledgeable about where to go and things to do in Myrtle Beach. Bathroom a tad small but was not a deal breaker. We would definitely consider returning.

Carolinian Resort

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is a great place to stay. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Guests receive a free breakfast from Magnolias which is a restaurant across the street and also free mini golf which is beside Magnolias. Pricing for hotel is very reasonable. There are two things that would make this perfect for us and that is safety bars in the showers and elevated toilets. Both would be welcomed by us old timers. Other than that..a perfect stay.

Nice studio room.

Overall the property and room was very nice. A couple of small issues. First the shower/tub did not have a curtain or liner. However housekeeping was called and brought one up and installed it. Also, the mattress should be replaced. It was very squeaky anytime you moved and not very comfortable.

Just what we were looking for!

The place looked just like it did in the online pictures. It is walking distance from several stores and activities. The beach is located directly behind the property. We were able to go out to eat some days or stay in and cook. We really did enjoy my birthday. We will be returning!

Great as always

Exactly as pictured!

Check in was a breeze. Stove and microwave were both super useful! Breakfast was decent. No daily cleaning due to Covid (July 2021), but you can request towel replacements with front desk. Parking garage a block away, which is not a big deal unless it's raining. They do offer valet parking for an extra charge. We were super happy with this unit (904) - we would definitely come back!!

Just right!

The room was exactly as pictured! Very clean. All our necessities were provided. Loved the free breakfast buffet at Magnolias! The only issue we had was that we wanted to use valet parking, but it was not available. But the parking garage ended up being much closer than we had originally thought so it really wasn’t an issue.
