Private Getaway In Berlin

This property is located in a private and quiet gated community in Berlin. With 2 community pools, a fishing pier, a recreation center and a clubhouse, you'll never get bored. The community has 2 playgrounds, and a pond to paddle boat in. The house has Wifi, smart TVs (3 Roku capable TVS), and games. Bring your streaming passwords, there is no cable!

Nearby Attractions:
Everything you need is 5-10 minutes away! The house is perfectly situated close to attractions but far away enough to not deal with the traffic and the noise!

A 5 minute drive takes you to mini golf and go carts as well as a shopping center and restaurants. Frontier Town is also just down the street. The nearest grocery store is the Food Lion on Stephen Decatur. A 10 minute drive takes you to downtown Ocean City, where you'll find the beach, museums, endless restaurants, and so much more. A 10 minute drive takes you to downtown Berlin, with antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

You can't stay in Berlin without going to see the ponies! Drive 10 minutes left out of the neighborhood and have a beach day at Assateague National Seashore. Slow down to watch and admire the ponies on your way in!

I provide 6 bath towels, which I request are not used at the beach or pool.

Kitchen/Dining Area:
The kitchen has all the essentials and is part of the open concept. Watch TV while preparing dinner.

Living Room:
Unwind by watching a show or movie of your choosing. Our Roku will allow you to log in to your own subscription services, and will log you out on the date you select. A DVD player is also hooked up to the TV for easy viewing of your favorite movies.

Don't worry about bringing your own linens, detergent, or bath towels. I provide sheet sets for each bed, 6 bath towels, laundry detergent and wool dryer balls. Leave the house laundry in the hamper, and I will wash and sanitize it after your stay.


COVID 19
The house is fully sanitized after every tenant and the house is left vacant after sanitation. Disinfectants and hand sanitizers will be readily available to tenants during their stay. This virus is serious, and I treat it as such.

Great Location

Nice little property in a great community. Close to all the Ocean City spots we wanted to visit but not in the party scene which was perfect! Owner has thought of everything you might need on your stay!

Great temporary home-at-the-beach property!

We had a great time! Alyssa provides lots of extras that help make your stay more enjoyable like linens, towels, household supplies, bikes, and beach and crabbing gear. Excellent communication and very helpful. The community offers many activities and felt welcoming. Highly recommend!

Never again!

This place was filthy. I don't know who hires the cleaners, but they need to be fired. There was dirt everywhere, like it had not been cleaned in years. There was hair on the commodes and sinks...not ours...yuck! Ants were everywhere....there were 4-5 cans of ant spray, so I would have thought if you knew you had a problem you would have had it taken care of. The cabinets smelled moldy and musty.....therefore everything you used had to be sterilized. The lock box was rusted and hard to open and shut. I know why the linens were furnished....when I took my sheets off the mattress pad was stained and had hair all over it. We left 2 days early.......we had enough... the air quality was making us sick. If we could have gotten a refund and found another decent place, we would have been gone. Do not rent!!!!

Place was nice location was excellent.Only draw back was oven was left extremely greasy i guess from last people.We did not have to use it .Shower drain was slow draining believe it may just need cleaned .New living room furniture was nice beds were comfy .Will hopefully be back next year .

Nice Area to vacation

Nice property to unwind and relax. Nicely decorated.. having the extra1/2 bath was great! Alyssa makes sure that you have everything you need and she’s super great regarding any questions issues or concerns. Location is awesome, weather you’re going to spend time by the pool or heading to the beach. We really enjoyed our time at this place!

Cleanliness

Alyssa was easy to work with and easy to contact when I needed. The place was nice however someone needs to dust up high. The fan blades and door frames are very dusty and have cob webs. Rentals need not have so many sitting decorations they tend to be in the way when renters are trying to put their stuff places. (Just my opinion )

Fun Family Vacation

We enjoyed ourselves at the home and around the neighborhood. The only thing we did not like were the curtains in the second bedroom. They need to be replaced with better curtains that block out the sunlight in the morning.

Close to beaches yet far enough away from the traffic.

This lil place made vacationing with 7 of us comfortable. We took advantage of all the extras like bikes and games. Enjoyed the porch area and coffee. Would be happy to stay again!

Love the community - the pools are great. Love to be so close to Assateague! The place was small, but we loved the shady outdoor patio (that not all units had). The house was well supplied and easy to get settled. Thanks!

Nice community, close to beaches

We have stayed in this development before and absolutely loved it. This home was large enough for the 4 of us and was well stocked with kitchenware, linens, and had a shed full of outdoor toys/bikes/beach equipment. I’m not sure if we were the first to stay here this season or if the house just wasn’t cleaned well previously but there were a lot of dust bunnies in corners of rooms and behind the bed where the rails were stored, some of the silverware and dishes had dried food on them, the oven had something spilled and burnt all over the bottom of it, and the larger bed had a musty smell only on one side of it. Overall, we still had a great week but not sure we would stay here again.

Nice property close to the beach and Berlin

My wife and two adult children stay at Alyssa's property for 5 nights. Check in was easy and the property was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and had many nice amenities. Alyssa made it very easy to get settled in. The property has everything you will need from dishes, silverware and glasses to towels, bed linens and toiletries. She provided very clear, well organized and helpful information about the property and area. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay in a very property.

My host provided everything you could need - the community the rental property was in was so nice and people were welcoming. Two great pools, a pier and pong to paddle oat in, a rec center and the property was within an easy drive to a grocery store and there were plenty of dining options all within a half hour. Beaches and the ocean city boardwalk was about 15 mins away. It was a great vacation and I absolutely love the area. Communication with the host was good and the property was welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

This property has been in the family for 20 years. When it was handed down to me, I decided to give it a small makeover. While keeping the nostalgic decor, I have added modern improvements to the property. Now, there is private Wifi, smart TVs, and a website full of information.

This property is located in a perfect location. It is away from the chaos and late nights of Ocean City, but close enough to anything a great vacation requires. The neighborhood is full of friendly neighbors and safe to let your kids explore alone. Spend the whole day in the neighborhood or take a short drive in any direction to have some fun.
