Open floor plan with 1/2 bath/laundry room on the main floor. Upstairs master bedroom with ensuite and views of the sea. Big, beautiful wood deck to relax and enjoy the breeze and soak up the view. Main floor bedroom with ensuite and double/single beds. Futon in the upstairs landing area, and pull out the couch if required. Walking down the hill will take you to the tranquil, breathtaking beach.

Another year in paradise

This is the place my husband and I escape to. Just turquoise waters, pink white sand, palm tress swaying and birds in the trees. So quiet and hidden away. Time stands still here.

This property is spectacular …… the beach is massively beautiful and the neighborhood is wonderful…… all the people we met were welcoming and friendly …..the owners and property manager were stunning….. we were at home upon arrival and loved our whole visit…….we are already thinking about next year …..the kayaks were fantastic

Stunning panaramic view!

We found this home exceptional, incredibly clean with all the comforts of home. Just steps from the beautiful sea we had plenty to explore and make lasting memories, the telescope and sound system we're added highlights staying at this gorgeous home. Our caretaker and host were polished and professional, a pleasure to communicate with. We recommend Fix ya Face. cat islands best asset for a relaxing, comfortable, plush experience. 5 stars! Best Beach on the Island!!

If you're looking for the perfect location, Shanna's Cove is IT! A short walk down the path from Fix Ya Face takes you to the beach which is, in my opinion, unmatched anywhere on Cat Island. You can walk for miles on incredibly soft sand and will likely not encounter another person. There is a beautiful view from the spacious deck, 3 beach chairs, and 2 kayaks to explore other quiet beaches nearby. This house is steps away from Shanna's Resort where you can enjoy wonderful dinners and meet and mingle with other visitors to the island (make reservations in advance). There are air conditioners in both bedrooms and one in the living area to keep you comfortable. There is a stereo with speakers that you can connect to, but if your device does not have a speaker/headphone jack, bring a dongle. The bugs (no-see-ums) can be bad on the island, so bring spray and long sleeves/pants for protection when you sit on the deck. They were unusually bad this time for us, but they didn't bother us down on the beach. (We also stayed on Pigeon Cay and they were much worse down there!). This is a great house for a family vacation!

My wife and I got married on Cat Island, and have always enjoyed the island's quiet, peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. It truly is an untouched gem with empty beaches and endless adventures. We built the house over the past several years, finishing it in 2013. This is our getaway from busy Nassau, and we both love how we feel when that plane touches the tarmac in Cat Island.
