I selected a different property originally and was told there were issues with the original selection and we were moved to this available property. The original property was a 2-bedroom and 1 bath with outdoor space. The owner sent three photos of the property we were moved to that showed the outside, the stairs and the kitchen. They told me it had two queen beds, one twin and a sofa bed. The property had 1 bedroom with a queen, a queen and a twin bed in the living room and a communal bathroom shared with another apartment on the same floor. The door to the apartment, while actually a door the wall did not extend down to the top of the door so there was a 1x2 foot hole to the hallway. The kitchen and living room had ants crawling around that we spent a bit of time killing when we saw them. I would not have been comfortable using that kitchen to prepare food. Had I known the bathroom was communal I would have not agreed to take the property. There was another family with 6 people, in an apartment that shared the hallway so trying to get ready to leave on the second day took an extra 45 minutes trying to get in and out. May work for someone alone or with a group that sees photos of exactly what they are getting, but that was not the case here. The location is decent, there's shopping and food around and it's a 30 minute Uber into the city. I did not appreciate the inaccurate description when I was asked if I was ok with the change.
