Far View Gasthaus is a great home-away-from-home nestled on 10 acres of land. This two bedroom property sits atop the homeowner's garage and boasts great views of the Texas Hill Country as far as the eye can see. You can relax on the porch and enjoy the view or enjoy a glass of wine next to the fire pit located in your gated backyard. Feel free to prepare a meal in the full kitchen or take a walk around the property and enjoy nature and wildlife. The spacious living room also has a queen-size sleeper sofa and windows throughout the entire home to help you enjoy the Hill Country views. Take a break from the city life and book Far View Gasthaus today. **Pet fee is $35 per pet, per day. **Two pet maximum.

Short stay but loved every minute of it

Relaxing Getaway

This house was perfect for getaway with friends. We loved that it was a close drive to main street, but provided a quiet, beautiful place to relax at night. Would definitely come back here

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had a great experience at Far View Gasthaus. The home was clean and plenty of amenities. There is a nice fenced area outside for a pet to roam. The scenery in the area is beautiful. It is a little further from town that we are used to, but the drive was easy enough.

Great, quiet, pet-friendly spot just minutes from Fredericksburg.

Thanks again for letting us stay at your guest house. The house was very clean and our dog loved being able to venture around the backyard. We'll be sure to recommend this location to our friends with pets in the future.

Favorite Fredericksburg Getaway

The property is perfectly nestled on a private, wooded tract. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with plenty of towels and basics provided, as expected. The fire pit and seating area was a huge bonus. We loved roasting marshmallows and enjoying family time around the fire. We would stay here again!

Beautiful hill country views

Loved this property out in the country in a gated community. Great for walking our dog. Watching all the cattle and deer along with the great sunrises and sunsets from this property's view was a highlight. Very nice B&B.

Great Place

My Daughter and I stayed here with our dogs last weekend. This place has everything you need to relax. It’s quiet, safe, and comfy. The pictures on here are really what this place looks like, except it’s nicer in real life. We would love to stay here again. One of the best experiences we’ve had staying in Fredericksburg .

Quiet Country Get Away

We wanted a trip to Fredericksburg for shopping and fellowship but found rentals too expensive right in town. This place was a short drive outside of town with a beautiful country view and setting. We really enjoyed the outside firepit area and would certainly return.

Hill Country Escape

Very nice place to relax on beautiful land. Very close to downtown Fredericksburg and local wineries. We also took a side trip to Boerne which was close, as well. The backyard has a wonderful seating area with a fire pit and is fenced in so it was perfect for our pup. I highly recommend it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great views!

We were looking for a relaxing holiday getaway & found it in this place. Our dog sitter cancelled on us at the last minute & had to cart pup with us. We were worried & turns out we so enjoyed our walks with pup in tow. What an amazing location if you are looking for a place to relax & enjoy quiet nature.

Quiet Getaway

Place was pretty much as advertised. Called firm to get keys. Was told all in text (Never received until after call) Quiet place & not far from town. Fire pit was great! Was deer everywhere!! Puppies had a blast!! Will gladly come back to relax & enjoy a nice wine around the fire pit!!!

Amazing spot!

Everything as advertised! Great communication with the property management company which made the check in super easy. Nice and quiet location only ten minutes to town. The place was spotless upon arrival and all the directions were easy to follow. We loved the outdoor area and the star gazing is incredible from the property. There’s deer everywhere which makes it feel like you’re in the middle of nature. We stayed over Christmas and the kitchen had enough in it for us to cook our Christmas dinner without a problem. Overall great stay and we will return again!

Country Getaway

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was great. Very clean and very quiet. I do think the living room furniture needs some updating but it was very spacious for two people. Two king size bedrooms with a shared bath worked great since there were two sinks. Outside area is really nice but we did have to wipe down the tables and chairs before using it. I loved the cows and deer that you would see driving in and out of the gated entrance/exit. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great getaway weekend stay

Lovely property. Beautiful views. Very clean and all the comforts of home!! I was so thankful to find a place that would let us bring our fur babies. We don’t often travel with them and I was worried about a place that allowed pets being smelly but this place was immaculate & SO comfortable for all of us. The dogs LOVED the enclosed yard and we all felt right at home. The only caution I would give is the stairs are rather steep & open to below. My little dogs were afraid to go up and down the first two days so we had to carry them. They figured it out by the last day but my teenage daughter recently had knee surgery and she also struggled a bit going up and down. Nothing to deter you from renting this beautiful place unless you have mobility issues or little dogs. We would definitely stay here again with our without our puppies!
