Great spot

House was great, location so close to Main St, no shower--only a tub with a removal shower head. Found a few unwanted bugs inside. Site should say friendly "cats" on property, they were nice but definitely more than one lol. The picture shows multiple "houses" that are split to accommodate more guests, wish the map that was on the table was included in the listing. Other than those things, we enjoyed our weekend together here.

Quick Jaunt to the Hill Country

Just a little 3 day getaway to Fredericksburg. Our little room was perfectly located for walks into and around town. The tub was a treat!

Not what we thought it would be

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whoever took the pictures of this place did a good job because it is not what we expected at all. We are used to nicer places. There were concrete floors and one rug in the entire place so the floors were very cold. They only had space heaters for heat. There was not any silverware in the entire place so we couldn’t even stir our coffee. Luckily we brought our own sugar because they didn’t have any sugar or cream for the coffee. The property is right on the corner of two very busy streets so there was a lot of road noise.

Honestly the property was clean and GREAT location. However, based on the fact it was all in one room, with the exception of the potty. Taking a bath with no privacy is a little odd. I feel as though it was overpriced, especially with the VRBO fees that are added. It was not a "traditional bed & breakfast". No breakfast of any kind, no creamer for the coffee, not even a voucher for a muffin. It was a last minute booking for us, so our choices were limited. It is a great location and very clean.

Weekend Getaway

The location is perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, stores etc. The only issue was that the A/C in the unit is undersized. It was a little warm during the day. Other than that the stay was fantastic.

Well-furnished and comfortable room

We really enjoyed our stay here. We spent a weekend in Fredericksburg and this was a very nice room in a small cottage. Has all the amenities you'll need, and there's a coffee shop next door. It's very close to main street and I would definitely stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: The area was OK, the little house space was OK as well, but we encounter issues with the maintenance and the biggest one was the roaches!! Big ones too!! I sent a couple of pictures to the manager/owner, and the response was as expected, an apology, but nothing else. She mentioned the other properties around, but we won't take any chances next time. I don't want roaches at my home.....

Reviewer Comments: This place was in the perfect location - 1 block of of Main street, walking distance to all of the great FBG downtown shops & restaurants - very convenient.Be advised, there is no closet (for hanging-up clothes) other than a couple of hooks mounted near the toilet. Also, there is no shower. There is a nice jetted tub, and you can kneel-down in the tub and use a shower head on a hose to hose yourself down, but there is no real standing shower. Doorknob and lock were loose and wobbly. Bed was pretty comfortable. There were 11 places to sit down in the room, but no real place to hang your clothes. Convenient parking directly in front in the driveway.
