Beautiful Mountain House Close to the Slopes

Enjoy the rustic mountain feeling and still have the modern day comforts. This house has three lovely updated bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Enjoy staying in and cooking in the updated full kitchen or go out to one of the many places in Nelson county. You can stay in and sit by the cozy wood burning fire. Wood is provided. Or go out and hike one of the many trails that Wintergreen has to offer. The house sleeps 7 in beds but there are 2 queen sleepers available upon request for an additional fee.

The house was better than described and in such a beautiful location! It had everything we needed and the host was quick to communicate and super friendly! Definitely recommend this house and this host! We had a fun and productive work weekend!

Mountain Getaway

Amazing place to stay! Will be back next year for a girls getaway weekend. Cozy fireplace, walks on the trails, Christmas movies, music by the speaker and beautiful views.

The amenities were in great condition. The price point was affordable to split among 5 parties. The view was fantastic with the snow. It was hard getting in without the snow being plowed in the driveway though. We had to park halfway up the driveway because we were spinning tires. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful and roomy

Lots of space for family to spread out. Gorgeous views. Lots of stairs, fyi. Roads are mountainous, so drive carefully! Host was easy to communicate with, check in was seamless.

Great property especially if you have a larger family. Lots of room to spread out. Everything is modern. Host is quick to respond if you have questions.

Great Ski House Getaway

Our family and friends stayed at this house for a long weekend. The house was nicely decorated with a great ski house/bear theme and very cozy and comfortable. It was a lot larger than expected with a huge lower level and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains and the colors were spectacular. The house was an easy trip to the resort to drop our skiers off at the slopes. We truly enjoyed our stay. The host Lauren was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Very nice

Spacious vacation home, very clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked. For future renters: exterior doors will lock you out regardless of the settings, so make sure the key is in the lockbox at all times.

Perfect mountain getaway!

We had such a fun long weekend at this property. We’d never been to Wintergreen during the summer, but we may even prefer it over winter! We went on lots of hikes. Our 4 and 7 year olds had a blast! The house is beautifully updated - clean, cozy, and very inviting! We loved the fun basement/entry level that had bunk beds and lots of board games. Meals on the deck at the large outdoor table were a highlight. Our kids also loved the activities at the Wintergreen Discovery Center - gem mining, mini golf, and the bungee trampoline were big hits! In the valley we had a blast visiting Devil’s Backbone for lunch, and Blue Toad Cider (adults enjoyed cider, and we all had a picnic lunch that we packed - our kids loved playing on the playground and in the creek - such a perfect family spot!). The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay! We can’t wait to visit again!

Gem within the Mountains

Excellent place to take you away from the city hustle. The property itself was great, very modern chic feel, with all the amenities you would need for the stay. For sure we would love to come back to the same place next time we plan a trip here in the fall. The one drawback (not for the property) but the overall WinterGreen resort area is that you surely want to get your groceries done before you come here, else it is a long... drive.

Spacious, clean and comfortable house!

This was a great rental for our ski trip - big enough for 2 families and spread out enough so that we weren't on top of each other. The views are stunning and the host was incredibly responsive and friendly. A very short drive to the slopes, so it was perfectly situated for us. Highly recommend!

Great house!

Beautiful house in a gorgeous mountain setting. Lauren the owner was very responsive and very flexible with us as we had to stay an extra day due to the weather and roads. Definitely will stay again here with my family!

Great Stay!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! It was so much bigger and more spacious than it appeared online. The house was beautiful and the host was very responsive and helpful. The location is beautiful. It is a little far from everything, but great for a weekend away in the woods!

Great stay at Wintergreen

The house was perfect and just as beautiful as pictured. Plenty of space for all of us to sleep and feel comfortable. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the resort, but it was perfect for what we needed.

Snow Fun!

Great family weekend getaway to Wintergreen! We stay often on the Mtn and really enjoyed the house. It was clean, full of fun bear decor, and worked well for us. Suggest de-icing the driveway before checkin since it’s a steep incline and adding some cutting boards and knives in the kitchen. Rapid and helpful comms with the owner and property mgr. Overall great stay- plan to visit again!
