Welcome! We are so excited to finally open up our brand new studio apartment to guests. This is a small studio with a private entrance and a private little patio area. You are about ten minutes to the airport, to downtown, to the beach, and five to ten minutes to restaurants. It is in the beautiful neighborhood of Bay Park where you can walk the hills and get sneak peaks of the sunset over mission bay. This place is cute and cozy and is a perfect place for a couple, small family, or single person

MOLD in suite, DO NOT stay here!!

My partner and I checked in pretty smoothly. Walk inside, I think it’s cute and quaint then tell my partner I do not like the smell. And he tells me that’s the smell of mold (he’s in restoration). So he immediately looks at the baseboards and we see a huge portion of the wall in the home water bogged, foundation smooshy and mold underneath. Was not shown in the pictures nor mentioned in the description. I’m also in my first trimester and immediately was scared to stay so we left immediately. Contacted the host, she took over a day to respond and stated she had no idea and no one had previously mentioned it. Idk how, the smell was horrid to us both immediately upon stepping inside. Was not happy because now we had nowhere to stay on our vacation and had to get a last minute hotel. Contacted Vrbo as well immediately and sent video proof. Waiting to hear a response back about my refund. Don’t waste your money until this is FULLY restored, CORRECTLY. Otherwise, it is a SAFETY HAZARD!

Comfortable spot, great location

Private, great use of space, great location. You can hear the folks above you. If they have kids running around late, it can be a problem.

Great San Diego stay!

This vrbo is a great little place to stay in San Diego. The location is great and the place is perfect for a vacation. We spent most of our time out and about throughout the day so coming back here to clean up and get rest was just what we needed. The place was clean and easy to access parking was easy and accessible. They provide kitchen supplies as well which was a nice surprise! There was coffee and a coffee maker that was great for the mornings. They also have a pan and griddle etc - we didn’t get a chance to use it but it’s great that it is there for use! The beds are really comfortable and the tv swings out to enjoy from bed. I highly recommend this place if you want to explore San Diego! It’s easily 15-20min away (no traffic) from everything and anywhere you may want to travel to around the city.

studio close to the bay

Property was nice. Upon arrive and initial visuals look great with all you need. There was a faint musty odor to the unit and possible cigarette smell when first entering. When looking into it, i saw some water damage around the door and wall surround, which was probably was the culprit. Looks to be a finished basement with poor drainage. Washer dryer is a combo unit and with smart tv, you have to sign in to your own accounts. Sink at the bathroom drains slowly. My be servicing it or correcting the drain/venting would be better. Check out states to take out your own trash. Overall fine stay with a few comments

Perfect space for 3 best friends!

This little unit was so cute! Super clean, and the perfect size for my two best friends and myself. It was quiet and we had our own little patio space. There was a little issue with the sink not draining quickly enough but overall it was perfect! :)

Cute stop on our road trip

Nice place, clean. Good location. Good instructions. Was not aware it was a basement unit, was fine but that explained the upstairs walking around and noise. Smelled a bit as if someone was a smoker or had smoked during a prior visit.

Cozy Studio

We needed a place for a quick stay in PB, and this worked well for two adults. Just a slight communication hiccup with getting in, but the owner recovered well. The neighborhood is beautiful, but you'd probably want a car for getting around. The studio was clean and well set up; we didn't use the kitchenette or the washer/dryer but the items were available.

Cute & Cozy Studio

This is a cute and cozy little studio. It was comfortable for my family of 3. Super clean and so well organized! Only a short 15min drive to Balboa Park, tons of restaurants, and is located in a quiet neighborhood. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Girls Getaway

Stayed here with my two best friends for the weekend and it was the perfect space for 3 of us! Very cute, clean, cozy with patio space to sit outside and have some drinks. Also a very well-equipped mini kitchen for such a small space!! Our host worked with us on a later checkout so we could still have a home base before flying out that evening. Parking was a breeze too.

We have lived in San Diego for five years now. We recently completely renovated our home and our basement studio. We have been renting out the studio on airbnb and recently reached superhost*** status! We were really excited about this. We finally decided to rent it on vrbo as well. We love hosting and are available if any of our guests need anything but if you don't need anything during your stay, we rarely see our guests. Our property is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and we are happy to host you!
