We were able to find place easy enough and was a last minute booking. The property was something used to basically sleep in. As we were there to work and not much time spent in house. Upon checking in tho, and trying to follow the instructions that were sent to us, it was a little annoying to find things being stated that didn’t need to be done or were not important.

We arrived after dark so it was a bit hard to find the address, but once we did it was very easy to access the property and get settled in. The bed was comfy! The seating could be more comfortable at the dining table and the couches. I loved that the entire yard is fenced for my dog. The kitchen was adequate but needs a new coffee maker and other supplies. Overall it was a nice stay and good location for us. Thanks!

Safe and affordable

We knew finding a one night stay with more than one bedroom in northern LA right before the Rose Parade would be hard. This place was just a bit off the beaten path, neighborhood was sketchy but the house was great. Sofa bed in living room is best for a kid only (short)

Centrally located and exactly as described

This listing is accurate, everything needed (sheets, towels, refrigerator etc.) was included. Neighborhood is older but has character and we didn’t have any issues. The owner is friendly, prompt to respond and takes care of ya!

Very pleasant stay! :)

Overall, this was a 10/10 stay! Everything was so clean and easy to find, and the convenience of the property being so close to the BLVD was amazing! The only minor inconvenience that was honestly the fault of VRBO, not the host, was that the VRBO chat algorithm for some reason censored the WiFi password for the 5G network the house has. But the house also has another 2G network that the password works great for :)👍 So that’s why it was only a minor inconvenience haha. But yeah! 10/10 would stay again

The gas stove was turned on without flame The whole house smelled bad when we arrived. we were lucky that no explosion occurred. No direct communication possible with the host. No email or phone number provided.

Sometimes Pictures are deceiving.

VRBO had sent me an email day before arrival to contact Giancarlo for arrival. His response was that he usually only gives the day of. Then departure still never received any instructions on what needed to be done and nothing in the manual. Coffee maker though unusable due to a crack on the left side of the plate is now an insurance claim. Didn’t use so why or who would have listened. The listing details unless for a couple is not accurate in how many people can stay there. Sleeps 7 with two small futon couches is not a sofa bed. Maybe two adults and 5 small children. Other dogs had pooped in the small front yard as no back yard available. So wasn’t sure what was all our pet or someone else including a grey pitbull in the backyard. We also couldn’t get into the house until after 3:15 as the cleaners including a grumpy old guy who wouldn’t move for us to park. Check in was 3 pm. If you stay here you have to use a key to move open an iron gate just be prepared. The place did smell great and we did try to make it easier on the cleaners by having all beds stripped, towels in a pile, and removing our trash.

Property owner was great

I didn’t have any communication issues with the property owner that she needs to get an exterminator we had roaches I killed at least 10 of them and the Wi-Fi never worked. We stayed a total of two days and never watched TV. The TV didn’t even pick up local channels property also needed some maintenance.

Homey neighborhood, room for dogs.

Loved the neighborhood and taking walks to the park and to Lancaster Blvd. The fenced yard was great for our dogs!

Lancaster visit

It was hard unlocking and locking the gate. One bedside lamp was not working. The bedsheets seemed old and found a stain on it. The toilet paper was one ply. The toilet handle must be held down till the water flushes. The house is small and has no back door. So everytime you need to go to the backyard you will need to exit thru the front door. The chairs with the dinner table are simple and seem they could break easily. The couch in the living room is uncomfortable. The good thing, the AC was working well and the host responded swifly. Well her husband responded via phone call. There are scratches on the mirror be sure to let them know.

Very clean, but….

I am so sad to give a low review because it was so clean, great location and had a well stocked kitchen. However the beds and furniture are very very uncomfortable!!! Mater bed killed my back as did the other room for my sister. The couch is broken down in the support department. No sheets for the futon or sofa bed and only 1 pillow for three beds. The master bed had plenty.

The house is beautiful and well stocked in a safe neighborhood.

One of the things I enjoyed most is the HUGE backyard for my two dogs to run free in because I live in a condo so they had a blast! Thank you so much. And the property owner was very prompt in responding to any inquiries I had. I’d definitely rent this Vrbo again. Just loved, loved, loved it!

Small House to ourselves.

If your not wanting to stay in a hotel and want a small place for yourself, this might work. The check in process is simple (IF you don't have the issue we did. And I will get to that in the end) Just a code to get in. Also, a HUGE dirt only area to secure your vehicle /RV ect. in all to yourself. We had motorcycles so we felt they were safe and locked in. The area is not so nice but this house is clean and cute in that area and is a couple of blocks away from THE BLVD in Lancaster which is a popular long street with food, movies, music etc. We had a CRAzY experience at first because VRBO sent us the address to the home across the street and BOY that was just a MESS but I am sure that this will get fixed by the time you visit. Here is what needs to be fixed in our opinion. The beds are HARD!! They definitely need a mattress topper. Sleep was not good in either room. There were no extra blankets or washcloths when we needed them. Our manager had someone leave them the next day but... For what we needed it worked and would stay again IF the bed situation fixed. Its hard enough to sleep when your away from home. Thanks to the manager for responding so quickly with all messages and I will send you separately the incorrect info we received on VRBO so that doesn't happen again. LOL and not LOL ... Sheryle :)
