NOTE (have to say this bc it happens) no parking on the grass anywhere! The driveway has parking for 4 cars. If you need additional parking contact me for options. We are happy to help and make accommodations where possible.

NOTE: This shows proximity to lake and TRAIN tracks.

Lake Access and pier across street in this 5 bed/2 bath home. Beautiful downtown public beach is just a short 10 min walk away.

Also includes: Use of a kayak and tandem kayak on site at your own risk. Dock and kayaks guaranteed to be in place Memorial day to Labor Day.

This is an entire home with exception of attached garage and breezeway. Garage is accessed by owner only and at will

5th bedroom also has a desk and spare monitor for anyone who has to work remote while visiting :-(

4 queens beds, 2 bunk beds (2 fulls, and 2 twins)
Maximum guest count is 14
Only 4 Parking spots available with rental. If more are needed please contact owner, may be able to get 2 additional spots if coordinated ahead of time.

The property met our families needs and would consider another stay. The children actually loved the train. The fishing off the pier was awesome for our grandchildren. Loved the access to the lake. Only negative would be the condition of some of the appliances, primarily the stove and dishwasher. Great place for families with younger children.

Perfect spot for a big group!

This spot was perfect for our big group attending a friend’s wedding near by! The train was loud at times but didn’t stop us from having a great reunion. Would recommend to anyone traveling with a bigger group to the area!

House near lake

The property was clean and the arcade games were a huge hit with the teens and the kids. A working umbrella for the deck and propane in the tank for the grill would have been helpful. The beach was close and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Family Wedding weekend

House was clean, some retro video games to play, conveniently located near or wedding event. There is a train that rolls through in front of the house in the night but it’s only for a couple minutes . Would stay again, met our needs well!

Absolutely perfect!

Our stay was incredible! The house was perfectly suited for our family (including 3 grandchildren) - many bedrooms, clean bathrooms, living space was awesome. One of our 6 children got married this weekend and we all travelled a long distance from Canada to Pewaukee WI. This VRBO could not have been more perfect for us! THANK YOU!

Business Trip

Our company needed to send workers out of town to a job site in the Delafield area. The house was perfect for our needs, close to the job site and enough beds for each person. That is always our struggle, enough beds, they will share a room but not a bed. Our employees enjoyed being able to sit out after a long day and sit around the fire pit and relax. Steve was great to work with, as we needed to book an additional week and despite having availability VRBO site showed it unavailable. We were able to book and Steve adjusted the dates to our needed time. We would definitely book again.

Family, friendly getaway

If you are looking for a quiet getaway in an upper scale home with no kids, this is not the place for you. But we were looking for A family friendly place where we felt at home. This was the place. It had arcade games for the kids and they were throwing a football around in the yard and doing kid things. They had games and puzzles and things for kids to do. The train was close by , but I love the sound of trains so for me it was just fine. The owner of the home was very nice to us. So if you’re looking for a place for your family, this would be for you. Also, there are many shops and beaches not far from the house. Lots to do.

Overall good.

Pros- The space inside is amazingly. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. We also had lots of family and friends visit. Steve is a great host. Super friendly, excellent with communication, shared his kids toys with my grandkids. Lots of extra parking for guests. Cons- It’s overall needs a major deep cleaning. The dishwasher works but was missing the top rack. I spent so much time cleaning and doing dishes for our large gathering. The train is much closer to the home than we expected, basically the front yard. It’s also a very active and long train. Overall the space was exactly what we needed. We had a great time with family.

This property lacked comfort on many levels it might be a good fit for families but not if your looking to relax and unwind. Spent three nights there on a girlfriend weekend. The train crossing is right next to the house, with many trains at all hours of the day and night. The house needs some TLC to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Owner responded but not on a timely manner. He did give us a discount of 10% for inconveniences. I felt it wasn't enough but better then nothing. It is a convenient walk to the downtown which is very cute with nice restaurants and shops. We arrived, and hadn’t received the entry code. Stood in the rain for more than 30 minutes waiting for owner to reply to texts and phone calls looking for entry code.Once inside, it was extremely family friendly with great space and kid amenities. Our experience with the trains were that they were great during the day, the kids loved it, but trains did come through at midnight, 3am and 6am regularly, which was very noisy and tough to sleep through.The cleanliness of this house was terrible, we did request our cleaning fee back because clearly the house was not properly cleaned after the previous guests. We found almost all utensils were down right dirty, earrings on a nightstand, mold on the shower curtains and most pits and pans were unusable.. We spent almost a half an hour cleaning the refrigerator before putting our food inside. One of the beds was broken and we spent time trying to arrange the blocks underneath to set the bed back up. The host did deliver needed supplies quickly. We have not ever received a response to our cleaning fee refund request. We wish the host would have been more responsive to our complaints.

Big House, Loud Train

The size of the house fit my family (8 adults and 3 little kids) really well. The kids loved the train during the day, but it definitely woke us all up at night. The area off the advertised dock was too mucky to swim in, which would have been more disappointing had it not been rainy most of our stay. There were some surfaces that could have been cleaner and communication with the host was inconsistent and slow.

The deck was amazing and huge!! We sat outdoors every day of our stay!! I loved looking out at the water. Such a peaceful property!
