White Mountains - Magnificent & Private Lakefront Lodge

Ski or Swim - Spectacular Mountain and waterfront property located on Stinson Lake, one of the cleanest and most picturesque lakes in New Hampshire. The lake is the largest body of water, at the highest elevation in the White Mountain National Forest. This beautiful property includes a one of a kind, 4750+ sq foot, hand hewn log home (which can easily sleep 12 comfortably) on a 3 acre lot with a private road. From the master bedroom, wake up to sunrise and mountain views over the lake. The lodge has a large deck and two-sided, screened porch offering views of the lake on one side or river on the other. There are multiple ski options (Cannon, Waterville Valley and Loon), snowmobile/ ATV trails, ice fishing, skating and easy access to public boat launch. Property has 40 ft dock for rental boat.

The lodge is located within a 15 minute drive to downtown Plymouth where you will find a variety of restaurants, pubs, and shopping. However, if you wish to cook from home, the kitchen provides everything necessary to include spices, oils, and many dry goods to use at your leisure.

This privacy and comfort of this house encourages relaxation and long walks. It's truly special and guaranteed to please.

From the stunningly beautiful house to the extremely well stocked pantry the house surpassed our expectations! The 11 of us (ages 5-mid 70's)had a wonderful time and took advantage of canoe and kayaks. My favorite spot was on the screened porch watching the hummingbirds and listening to the loons. Thanks for the clean, safe and spot for family to reconnect.

Best experience ever!!!

We stayed for five days with lots of family! So much to do for every age! The kitchen was one of our favorite parts and had such a great entertaining island! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Completely stocked with everything you could ever need! Our kids loved the game room!!! The lake view was absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for such a wonderful week at your cabin

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering and a wonderful location. All ages had a great time! One thing that should be corrected in the listing is that the "queen" bed (5'wide) is actually a "full" or "double" (just 4'6" wide). Since we didn't meet the owner or property manager, it would have been helpful to have more information available in the house - nearby restaurants and activities, location of the spare propane bottle for the barbecue, etc. The owner was quick to respond when I texted her with questions, but if there had been information sheets in the house I wouldn't have had to bother her.

Dual 80th Birthday Family Celebration

The property was beautiful and had everything that we needed. Kayaks and access to the basically private lake made our stay so special. Hours on the screened-in porch during the day and game room at night entertained our group immensely. We all had a wonderful time at the lodge.

Stunning lake house!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed on site. It was the perfect family getaway. There were lots of activities for all age groups to enjoy (and we were traveling with young children). The owners were amazing hosts and extremely responsive to messaging. Would definitely love to stay here again.

The Ultimate Fun Group Getaway

We have rented houses in Maine and NH every winter for the last 17 years, and this is by far the best house. It has absolutely everything and is gorgeous, comfortable, and festive. We hope to go back next year.

Absolutely gorgeous house and wonderful relaxing stay

Our group of three small families had a great time in this beautiful and warm home. Our young teenagers loved the game room, there is a hidden bedroom that my 13 year old thought was the coolest thing ever, and we spent every night playing games in the dining room enjoying the fireplace. Truly beautifully setting and a house with everything you could need. I can’t wait to go back.

Multi generation family stay

Great place for family vacation! There is no need to leave the property with the abundance of space and play - kayaks, corn hole, fire pit. The yard was fabulous for frisbee and our disc golfers, plenty of life jackets for the kayaks and lots of sizes as well floatees for our mixed age group….and the screened porch was a pure delight Morning, noon, and night! Our time was much too short!

Perfect for my extended family

What a wonderful spot on a beautiful, clean, and quiet lake! The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely outdoor porches, open and screened. Our gang of 12, aged 5-90, found lots to do on the waterfront and in the game room. Liana and Greg are communicative, responsible hosts. We are so grateful for our week spent here.

The ideal getaway

This stay could not have been better. Magnificent house, provisioned with everything you'll need (two coffee grinders to choose from!), host that is somehow easy to work with but all over the details , a hidden room to excite a moody 10-year old, good wifi for work calls, enough to do in the game room that kids didn't even ask for the TV, beautiful lake all frozen for ice skating kids, 2 hours to Boston. We didn't leave the property for five days, just played games inside and out. Can't wait to visit again.

Amazingly wonderful!!

This beautiful property exceeded all of our expectations! So many special 'living spaces' to accommodate everyone. Everything was in perfect order for game room activities on rainy days and at the dock and water for fishing and kayaking. Really enjoyed two evenings by the dining room fireplace when it was cooler. Beautiful home in White mountains

This property was absolutely perfect for a stay regardless on any age range in your group. The location and house are incredible and of all the times I have rented a lake house, I must say this property is by far the most completely stocked home I have ever stayed at, including the kitchen, outdoor activities, and general home items. You really do not need to bring much to enjoy your stay at this property! Liana and Greg were so responsive if we had a question and really just wanted us to have fun and enjoy the home. Lakeside Nirvana

Quiet, private custom home. Most rooms have uncluttered views over the lake to hills beyond. Constant birdsong; a bald eagle flew over one morning. Huge, solid wood and log architecture reminiscent of the old railroad lodges at Grand Canyon and Yellowstone, but more modern. Big L-shaped screen porch with dining table. Superbly stocked as noted in other reviews. Grandchildren loved the playroom. Footnote: astonishing, still-structured coffee pot makes excellent java!

Everything you want in a vacation home

This was truly a gorgeous and well appointed home. The owners are generous (like offering beach towels, stocking paper towels, trash bags etc) The house has everything you need AND want to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with enough pots/plates/cups/platters etc to feed a crew of 9. The craftsmanship of the house was stunning. The secret castle bedroom was an endless source of amusement for the kids. Communication with the owners was super easy. They know the house well and immediately communicated with us as we needed it. Furniture and beds were comfy!

Spectacular lakefront proprty

We had a fantastic time at this incredible house! It is located on a large piece of land on a gorgeous, clear lake, with water shallow enough for the youngest kids. The house itself is truly amazing, featuring beautiful wood floors, walls, and ceilings, a massive game room, a large and beautiful porch, and plenty of spacious bedrooms, including one up a secret staircase hidden behind a bookshelf. There is gorgeous furniture throughout, and everything was completely stocked, from kitchen items to bug spray and floats. The owners were terrific as well - responsive, kind, and extremely generous with little touches, not to mention their time and attention. HIGHLY recommended!!

Really enjoyed our stay

This is our second year staying here. This was a big step up in comfort for us (12 people) who previously had only done rustic camp ground tenting and hiking in the Whites. Everyone rates it as awesome. The younger ones are very active and take advantage of kayaking, whiffle ball, corn hole, bon fire on the beach. In addition, they day hike in the Whites trying to complete the AMC 4000 Footer list. There are also chances to watch the loons on the lake using the supplied binoculars while lounging on the back porch. Not too far to "Market Basket" grocery, liquor store and Walmart – half hour. Cleanliness could use improvement, though.

This home and location was beyond our expectations

Can’t even summarize how beautiful and enjoyable this home and location was . Every detail was there and the screened porch was used non stop as was the game room. Every room was tastefully decorated and loved the bird theme scattered throughout the house. The mountains and water greeted us every morning and night . The six grandkids had a ball running on the lawn and the kayaks were an added bonus as all the kids and parents could go out on the lake at one time . The floating dock got well used . We are hoping to enjoy this beautiful property again . There was plenty of room for quiet relaxing time and wonderful sleeping nights . Hosts are amazing and attentive to every detail. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful piece of heaven

Exquisite Property

This was the best VRBO experience I have ever had. The home and property are absolutely stunning! Liana was incredibly accommodating, kind and responsive to all of my questions. We came with 6 adults and 6 children and there was more than enough space for all. The kids had a ball in the game room (it was hard to get them out of there!) All of us agreed that it is the best home we have ever stayed while on a vacation together. The outdoor space is peaceful and stunning. We all brought food to make meals, but for the little things we forgot or needed, the pantry and refrigerator were very well stocked and Liana told us to feel free to use anything they had. We skied at Waterville Valley which was an easy ride. We hope to go back (in the summer and winter!) I can't recommend the home (and gracious owners) enough!

Amazing house

What an amazing house!!! It was such a great vacation. The house has everything you could possibly need. When they said all’s you need to do is bring your clothes they weren’t kidding. I’ve never seen such a full pantry. This house has so much room for everyone. My granddaughter loved the secret room. She kept saying she felt like she was in a tower. The game room was awesome. The wrap around deck was amazing. We spent many morning’s out there. The kayaks were a big hit. Liana was so wonderful to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed. We’re so glad that we decided on this house to rent. It doesn’t disappoint. Already thinking about next year.
