Located approximately 1 km from Route 54. Unpaved road but easily accessible. Caution for very low-clearance vehicles.

The property is 6000 m², with no direct neighbors, enclosed by a wooden fence. It has its own access road, which may be used occasionally by some farmers. The nearest neighbor, Patko Tanya (a German equestrian center), is 300 m away.
All around are fields, vineyards, fruit trees, acacia forests, reeds... Absolute tranquility reigns, nature with a capital N, as many animals will be your companions day and night.

Deer, fallow deer, wild boar, pheasants, rabbits, magnificent green lizards, migratory birds, geese, storks, and even jackals that you might hear at night...

Please note that life in the great outdoors can be accompanied by insects, sometimes many in Hungary: ladybugs, flies, ants... But also mice, lizards, and birds that sometimes drink the pool water, and owls may come to the roof of the outdoor kitchen at night. The windows are protected by mosquito nets, but this doesn't prevent a few small "companions" from getting in...

There are two houses that can be rented together or separately. Each house has two closed bedrooms (one with a double bed), accommodating four people per house, a kitchen/dining area, and a bathroom with shower and toilet, accessible from each bedroom. Heating can be charmingly enhanced off-season with wood-burning stoves, one per house.

Reversible air conditioning is installed in each house. The houses are equipped with satellite TV and Wi-Fi.
If you rent only one house, the second will not be rented to other guests, so you will have the entire property to yourselves to enjoy this peaceful haven.

This is also an opportunity to rent with friends, or even create a separate house for parents and children/teenagers.

The grounds include a small covered outdoor building for a table, and a fire pit is located near the pool for cooking your favorite meals. Enjoy al fresco dining!

The 8x4 meter swimming pool is bathed in sunshine, perfect for pleasant swims, and features an outdoor shower.

There is also a swing and a small lookout tower.

Location

It is located in the municipality of Orgovany in southern Hungary.

The location is exceptional, in the heart of the Bacs Kiskun region, approximately 100 km south of Budapest via the M5 motorway. And it's an hour from the airport.

25 km from Kecskemet, a city of 110,000 inhabitants, home to major companies like Mercedes, the most famous of which is open to visitors.

Further south lies Szeged, an important city on the banks of the Tisza River, on the Serbian-Romanian border.
The Romanian mountains of Transylvania are just a few hours away by car.

The geology is unique, as the location is right in the middle of a sand ridge, between the Danube and the Tisza rivers. The soil is sandy to a depth of tens of meters, the terrain is flat, but a few hills and sand dunes dot the landscape.

A few kilometers away is the town of Jakabszallas, perfect for shopping. On the other side of the border is the village of Bócsa (where we live), and a little further on is the small town of Soltvadkert with its beautiful lake, ideal for summer swimming or fishing, and a well-known ice cream and cake shop.

It's a paradise for hiking and horseback riding, as well as for recreational activities like enduro motorcycling, quad biking, and buggy rides, which we can also arrange.

All around are the Kiskunsag National Parks, waiting to be explored.

A few kilometers away are former Russian military training grounds, used for military exercises in the 1970s and 90s, some parts of which are still visible.

Lakes (kolon), pristine plains dotted with common juniper (Juniperus communis), and diverse forests await discovery.

Weather

The weather is somewhat unusual, with rainfall being infrequent. The sand in summer gives the impression that the sea is close, but yet... The pine forests also create this atmosphere.
It's cold in winter; temperatures are often below freezing, and snow, even if only a few centimeters, is not uncommon. Frost often covers the trees, creating an extraordinary impression.
In summer, temperatures exceeding 40°C are increasingly frequent.
In spring, temperatures quickly become pleasant, and the colors of the fields and flowers, along with the scents in the acacia forests, are unforgettable.

Explore

Discover the legendary plains of Bugac, its cuisine, and its daily horse shows throughout the summer.
Visit the Fülöphaza dunes; the Tazlar dunes are also stunning but less well-known. There are others I could recommend.
Visit the thermal baths and hot springs.
Go cycling or horseback riding on all the trails surrounding the property.
Enjoy the unique starry sky, free from light pollution. I can even provide a telescope for enthusiasts.
Go wakeboarding at Kecskemet or even Lupa To (Budapest).
Many trails can also be explored by motorcycle, quad bike, or buggy. Off-road motorsports are also very popular in the region. It's even possible to go kitesurfing in Akaszto, about 30 km away, or even on Lake Balaton, 1.5 hours away.

Description of services for your horses:

Access to the property with a horse trailer is very easy. Parking the trailer, maneuvering and turning around, unloading your horses, and putting them in the field are all within easy reach.

The paddock for the horses is approximately 3000m², enclosed by wooden fencing about 1.20m high.

We provide large plastic water troughs that can be easily filled using the property's hose.

We can deliver unlimited hay bales (we also have horses).
We can deliver bags of feed supplements such as barley and alfalfa.
In the middle of the field, there are large trees where the horses can find shade.
There is no shed at the moment, but it is planned for later.
You leave the property and are immediately on the endless trails for riding through the puszta, forests, and dunes. No roads to cross, no traffic around the property; you and your horses are alone in peace and quiet, without stress.
