Charming lake community cottage with hot tub PET FRIENDLY

Recharge with all the beauty the Catskills have to offer.

Welcome to our 100 year old cabin with updates. It is 500 square feet of pure cuteness. It exudes charm while providing comforts. 3 bedrooms and a sofa allow for lots of guests. tucked away in nature, yet just a short drive to great local finds.

If you’re looking for more space and even more amenities please check out our other brand new listing right across from the lake which includes lakefront access and much more space.

Newly added hot tub and your very own herb garden to utilize when cooking meals at the cottage.

Great WiFi for the ability to work remotely if needed during your trip.

This cottage includes everything you could need. The brand new bathroom has a shower (no tub) but there is a baby tub for our littlest guests.

Take a stroll around the lake and enjoy the views. Although you can’t see the lake from the property it’s Just a short 3 minute walk from the doorstep.

Relax by the fire or take a nap in the hammock in the backyard. There's also a grill to prepare meals. We also include bikes in the shed so feel free to take them on a trip around the lake. Three adult bikes and helmets provided.

Please note that access to the third bedroom with twin beds is located through the second bedroom.

Each room has its own air conditioner and space heater so the temperature is always right.

PLEASE NOTE!!!! This is a lake community but this property does not have lake access. You are able to walk and bike around the lake. However, feel free to bring your water gear there is a local swim spot 5 minutes away (by car) at Sand Beach in highland lake, or there are some great kayak and tubing spots at the Mongaup DEC access area.

Cozy cabin

This was a perfect little cabin for me to spend two nights while I was in the area for a youth retreat. I was only there long enough to shower and sleep but it was very quiet and comfortable.

Nice and cozy

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The host was great and the house was very clean. enjoyed the hot tub, grill and the nearby lakes. This place does not disappoint...two thumbs up.

Small cabin with thoughtful touches

This is a small place, as the pictures show, but everything was comfortable and well thought out. The owners were great with any communication and the place was very well stocked. Highly recommend.

Great time in NY

My stay was quick, but Alyson was great. They left great complimentary items to make them stay more comfortable and the pillow I had was fantastic especially for my sore neck. The area was beautiful and the neighbors out on quite a show for the 4th. Alyson was even nice enough to compensate me for leaving early even though it was my fault. Thanks again for the great stay. Disappointed

The Mountains and lakes were beautiful the Cabin needs some work that should have been taken care of. Furniture aged and uncomfortable. Twin beds weren’t big enough for a mature adult couple. The location and inability to access the lake were a great disappointment . Local stores and eateries were also below average public service standards. Over all regret.

Quiet Comfortable Cottage

We rented the cottage because it was close to Bethel Woods where we went to see the “WHO” in concert. My wife and I enjoyed are stay at the cottage/cabin. It was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need, for your home away from home. We had a great meal at Hennings Local a great farm to table restaurant about a 30 minute drive from the cottage and it was one of the suggestions from the host. We would definitely rent this place again if it is available when we go to the next concert. If you are looking for a great place to stay when you are in this area, We highly recommend staying at this place. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome time

This property is amazing. My husband and me took our dog away for the week and had a great time. Hot tub, fire pit and anything and everything anyone could possibly need was available. Owner replies very quickly to questions. Would definitely recommend.

Great outdoor adventure

My family and I were looking for a low key outdoor stay and this was PERFECT. We had 3 adults, and while the house is small, it has everything there is that you need. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with 1 big bed and 1 with two twin beds. Two of the bedrooms don't have windows. There are ACs in every room and the living room AC is quiet but works AMAZING (my mom now wants to buy the same one LOL). The backyard has a jacuzzi, hammock, table w/ umbrella and chairs and a firepit. Neighbors are close by, but we stayed during the week and barely saw anyone. There is a lake that is <5 min walk away but this house doesn't have access to it. However within 20 minutes drive you have access to MULTIPLE other lakes, including Sand Beach which has boats to rent, and a local state park. The host was INCREDIBLY responsive and was very helpful in telling us where something was if we couldn't find it and also w/ recommending local spots. Oh and if it rains while you're there, don't worry! there is an amazing assortment of board games to chose from. Our one regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Perfect get away for my family!

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation. There are local eateries, shops and swimming just a short drive away. Almost everything you need is provided from toiletries to firewood. Just bring your family and relax in the hottub, build a fire, take a bike ride or explore places nearby! If you happen to run out of something provided all you have to do is message the owner and they get right on it! Very nice people. We look forward to returning again in the future!!

Summer vacation

We had a great time here! Hosts are very responsive and helpful. The cottage is rustic and perfect for a getaway with the comforts of home. The area is woodsy and a short walk to the lake.

It was perfect for me and the family I will definitely read this again the only thing that didn't work was the barbecue but I probably just didn't know how to work it everything was excellent I would definitely recommend family and friends

Cute and peaceful place.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a small quiet area to get away from busy life, and this was the perfect getaway. So much to do in the area, if you don't mind driving a little bit. Great pizza place in town, went horseback riding at Rolling Stone Ranch and found some nice places to hike too. If you're into antique shops there are some nice ones in the area too. Owners are great at communicating quickly too. I would highly recommend and would stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

Perfect getaway!

My kids and I had a blast staying at this property. The host went above and beyond from the moment this trip was booked (making sure kids had whatever they needed and provided plenty of recommendations as this was our first time staying at the area). The owner is also very quick to respond to any questions I had during our stay! The house was clean, and was exactly as described on the website (and a walking distance from a beautiful lake). As a family that lives in the city, this provided the perfect escape. Giving us nature, space and overall, so much fun creating new memories (especially the hot tub and the fire pit!) I highly recommen it and already planning for our next stay.
