Comfy 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with free parking

West Alexandria VA 3 bed 2 Bath. House is located at the corner of Fillmore and Seminary Rd. Few Steps away from Metro Bus Stop, several restaurants. The house spacious with lots of amenities to make you feel at home. Shared driveway and street parking is available for you and your guests

Your safety and security is very important to us, we have surveillance security cameras at all point of entry.
This unit is the Top floor. Basement is rented out separately.

Top floor 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, driveway and patio.

We will be available via a phone or text message.

It`s a quiet and friendly neighborhood

Uber is minutes away and there`s metro bus stop at the corner of the house.
Uber/Lyft car rides are easy and affordable to travel to the Great DC area.
The nearest Metro station is Van Dorn Station which is about 12 minutes drive from the house.

We have two units that are completely independent, our driveway parking is shared between the two units and is big enough to accommodate 6 cars.

Clean and spacious home for our family of four. Bedrooms/beds were clean and comfortable. Excellent location and good off street parking. Nice neighborhood. We would return for another stay. Host communicated well.

Well Maintained and Close to DC

We stayed here with our kids, the house is a short 10-15 mins drive from most DC attractions. Hosts were very responsive and the house was clean and well stocked. The only minor issue was that it's next to a road and me being a super light sleeper could hear some traffic at night. Tends to get quieter after 11PM.

Enjoyed our stay. Came to visit with extended family for thanksgiving and this allowed us a a refuge for our immediate family to hang out when not with the extended family. Comfortable, cute, centrally located. Enjoyed our week!

This property was excellent for 4 adults here to see the sights. Very close to public transportation, very clean, well stocked for any of our needs. We would definitely come stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Property was great - clean, beautifully decorated, and homey. It took us a bit to figure out there was a seperate ac for the living room. There were plenty of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, towels/wash clothes, blankets, and trash bags, as well as soap and shampoo. This was much appreciated - we have stayed places where we had to buy our own to last so it was nice that it was well stocked. Owners were communicative and helpful. Location was fantastic - 15 minute drive into DC, and many great food choices right around the corner. The location was a little noisy, but we live out in the country so I'm sure any place in the city would be noisy to us. Other than that, had a lovely stay and would recommend.

We were in town with family for a funeral at Arlington. The house was perfect for us!! Very clean and well equipped. the location was perfect and made it easy to get to Arlington as well as the sights.

Visiting National Mall

The location was perfect to get to the National Mall in 15 minutes. Reasonably priced. The house was exactly what we needed. It was clean and stocked with cooking utensils. We definitely would book with them again.

Convenient location near Metro station, grocery and resturants

Parking was good, kitchen is a little small for more than one person at a time, but overall it was a very comfortable space for our 5 nights. We were all 70+ years of age and it worked well for us.

Family friendly/ Great Host

Our family traveled to D.C. area for spring break. There were six of us so the 3 bedrooms worked perfect. Off street parking was great. Host was very easy to contact if needed. Check in was easy, location was very safe and easy to find. We would recommend this host and location to anyone and would stay there again if we visit again.

House in Alexandria

Lovely, clean and just as described. The only thing that could be improved was that there was a strong perfume like smell, possibly from cleaner, that was bothersome for those with fragrance sensitivity.

Cute but Cramped

Overall the house was not bad, It was clean and decorated nicely, but the rooms were very cramped for a family of four with two teenagers. We could not figure out how to turn on the lamp in the living room nor did we know about the spare AC unit. It would have been helpful if they had listed more detailed instructions about the house in the welcome binder. We thought the AC was broken after the first night because it never cooled down to the desired temperature and it was so hot, but after some communication with the owner, we found out that there is a "split unit" in the living room that needed to be turned on. Something we had no experience with. The owner was very attentive in this matter and sent someone right away to check the Central Unit just in case. I was also a little surprised that they had long term renters in the basement unit. This was not something that was mentioned in the description and was not disclosed until the day before check in. Honestly, I probably would not have booked this property had I known that. We didn't see or hear from them other then having to make sure to leave room in the driveway, but we felt like we had to be extra quiet walking around since we were above them, it was a little awkward. As for the size, I should have been more diligent when looking at the pictures. The rooms were on the small side, with no room for a dresser or place to put our suitcase without it being in the way the whole time. We had to make the most out of the closets, but those were even a tight squeeze getting in and out. The master bath was super small! I am not a big person by any means, and I had a hard time moving around in such a small space. The shower was just as small. My husband and I actually ended up sharing the hallway bathroom with the kids during the entire stay. The master bath looked newly renovated, but it was just too tight of a squeeze to be functional. I personally would not stay here again- mainly due to the size, which is not any fault of the owner. They made the most of the space they have, but for us it wasn't ideal.
