Welcome to Mas l'Andreu! <br><br>In the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, one hour from Perpignan and the Mediterranean Sea, this old farmhouse built around 1756 (with its 13th-century dovecote) is tucked away in a secluded valley surrounded by nature, not far from the small Catalan village of Corsavy. <br>The ideal spot for a mountain vacation, this old Catalan farmhouse at the foot of Mont Canigou offers direct access to the Riuferrer River and a waterfall. This unique location promises a stay that combines authenticity and comfort. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility and fresh air of this true haven of peace. <br><br>The location is perfect for unwinding and resting far from the hustle and bustle of the world. You can relax on the property and let yourself be enchanted by the spellbinding serenity of the setting: enjoy the 3,000 m² of gardens, meditate by the waterfall, feel the tranquility of the forest, stroll along the river, climb the hill above the house, do your yoga by the pool before taking a dip, relax in the hot tub, swim against the current in the spa, sweat it out in the sauna, and play sports… on the bocce court! <br>If the weather isn’t cooperating, a recreation room converted from an old barn will save your stay: there, you can play pool, foosball, or arcade games, or simply enjoy a drink with your loved ones while listening to the jukebox or reading the guest books.<br><br>If you prefer to stay active, this vacation rental is ideally located between the sea and the mountains and offers a perfect base for outdoor activities: hiking or horseback riding throughout the Canigou massif, mountain biking, canyoning, rafting, via ferrata, tree-top adventure courses, and golf (Falgos, Saint Cyprien, Montescot)… <br>The beaches of the Côte Vermeille are an hour away, the Costa Brava is 1 hour and 30 minutes away, and Barcelona is 2 hours away. For spa enthusiasts, the Amélie-les-Bains thermal baths and the thermal spa in Le Boulou are about 20 minutes from the house.<br>You can also enjoy many activities in the region: visit Corsavy, a typical Catalan village; Arles-sur-Tech and its abbey; Prats-de-Mollo and its Fort Lagarde; the thermal baths and wine cellars of Roussillon in Amélie-les-Bains; the Abbey of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou; Villefranche-de-Conflent (Fort Liberia, the “Yellow Train,” etc.), Prades, Collioure, the Cathar castles (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, etc.), and more.<br>The Rodella procession in Arles-sur-Tech, the feria, and the folk festivals in Céret and Amélie-les-Bains take place during the summer. You’ll also find a mini-golf course in Arles-sur-Tech (Le Bahia), as well as two casinos in Amélie-les-Bains and Le Boulou. <br><br>This 59 m² vacation rental features a large bedroom (28 m², east-facing) and a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette (23 m², east-facing). Nestled against the hillside, it offers a lovely view of the garden. <br>This vacation rental can accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be converted into a double bed (king size, 180 x 200 cm). The living room features a sofa and a 140 x 190 cm sofa bed. <br>Amenities include a cooktop (glass-ceramic), oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, television (satellite and digital terrestrial TV—SAT—with a decoder featuring an USB port), and Internet (Wi-Fi). A 24 m² stone patio with a glass table is located in the garden (next to the rose bushes) and is reserved for guests of this cottage.<br>The cottage has direct access to the bedroom on the first floor and access to the living room via a ramp. <br>It is rated three stars as a “Meublé de Tourisme.”<br><br>We also offer the Abbé Arnulphe cottage (1 bedroom, sleeps 4) and the Guillaume de Gausseleme cottage (2 bedrooms, sleeps 6). Each cottage has its own separate entrance, set apart from the others.
