Welcome to our hidden gem at Cove's End!

Our lake house truly is hidden among the pine and oak trees as it sits on a merged lot at the end of the cove. Life is better at the lake! Especially with a private dock with seasonal lake access (typically March to early August) and your choice of 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddle boards and a paddle boat.

Experience movie night on the 85" 4K Samsung TV, powered by high speed internet (100+ mbps).

Enjoy grilling your favorite dish on the Traeger Grill and creating other masterpieces in the large open kitchen. Then gather with loved ones at the large dining room table or dine al fresco on the deck overlooking the cove.

The game room is the perfect hangout spot to watch the big game and play some games of your own. Challenge your friends or family to a game of pool, chess, checkers, giant jenga, Centipede, Golden Tee, Mortal Kombat or a wide variety of board games and card games. Continue in the backyard with a game of ping-pong.

And when its time to turn in for the night, relax in one of the 3 main level bedrooms (2 cal-king beds and one queen bed), or bunk with your friends or family in the large downstairs bunk room (two sets of bunk beds and a trundle bed). For extra sleeping arrangements, the sofa in the game room converts to a bed as well.

Enjoy the lake house year round, with two freestanding fireplaces (one on each level), and central heating and air conditioning. Just over an hour to Dodge Ridge, Cove's End is the perfect base camp for all your adventures in and near Yosemite.

Pine Mountain Lake Amenities:
Located in the gated Pine Mountain Lake resort, enjoy access to golf, horseback riding, tennis and pickleball courts, a shared pool, and three beaches. During the summer months, the Marina also offers boat rentals (sailboat, fishing boat, paddle boat, kayak, paddle board) and dining at the Lakeside Cafe.

We LOVE staying at Cove's End! This our fifth year vacationing at this property and it gets better every time. The house is always clean and well-stocked. The layout is perfect for an extended family stay with a generous kitchen, dining area and family room. The game room is fun for all. Love the decks and patios. And cannot say enough good things about our wonderful host. Thank you for another incredible vacation!

Fun time on the lake

We loved this house - plenty of room to spread out, so many activities for both adults and kids, the kitchen is well stocked. The location of the house is perfect, close to the beach. Kids enjoyed kayaks and paddle boards. We would live to come back!

Loved the Lake House

The house was perfect for a three night stay for our family of 10. The game room downstairs was perfect for our grandkids...and us adults too. Spacious and clean. We'll be coming back in the future.

Amazing rental w/ all amenities

This was my first time staying in Groveland, Ca and it was amazing. I love the PML it had so many things to do, it was also cloae to Yosemite amd Hetch Hachery. I loved the house, the kids enjoyed everything in it and didnt want to leave the house. The only thing i didnt know was the gate fee which came as a supriwe. Overall amazing property.

Exceptional!

This is our third stay, and it is our very favorite property on Pine Mountain Lake. We love the expansive living and dining area. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The downstairs game room is a made for fun. And we spend lots of time on the deck and dock. It is the perfect house for our extended family's yearly trip to the lake. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their house with us!!

Hidden gem by the lake

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful hidden place during the tail end of the pandemic. 2 families with 5 kids. The house was spacious, lots of room to comfortably fit everyone, with a wonderful deck to enjoy the scenery and some yoga. The kids enjoyed the game room, the swings and the occasional wildlife visitors. The kayaks were great and we were able to fit all 9 of us for a short ride to the beach. Overall a fantastic place to relax and get away from the city. Bonus: free community pool less than 5min driving from the cabin

Absolutely great house!

This is the best house we have visited at the PML (and we have been at the lake 5 times). It has everything that a family with kids can dream off: boats, board games, arcades, a gated ping-pong table of a good quality, great swings, a pool table, a large TV with a big collection of movies. The house is big and clean. The host is helpful and easy to contact. The only drawback is that you can't swim near the house. It's the cove's end, and the water is shallow. You need to paddle to the lake's beaches, which we didn't mind at all.

Excellent Base Camp for Yosemite

We really enjoyed our stay! We spent several days at Yosemite, a great afternoon at Rainbow Pools much closer to the house, and a lot of time on the lake as well. We made good use of the grill, the giant TV was a hit on the one day we had a lot of rain, and the arcade games were nostalgic for the adults and fun for the kids. The giant tub in the master bath is even bigger than you think it is from the pictures, and very relaxing. The kids loved the swings and the hammock in the back yard. We took all the paddleboard/kayaks/peddleboat out and enjoyed them all. Life jackets were available in a variety of sizes, including kid sizes. Plenty to do here to keep an active family busy and happy!

Birthday weekend Trip

Overall the property was very nice and the host was very kind and communicated well. I checked in on Friday and departed on Sunday . We had no power on Saturday which is very upsetting when you can’t enjoy anything in the house for your birthday celebration. Cold showers , no wifi , no tv or lights inside or out. I know the host doesn’t control power but please accommodate.

Quiet, convenient location

We have stayed in more than one unit at PML and this was definitely a nice space. Very quiet, on the far end of an inlet to the lake. No jumping off the dock here, the water is not deep enough, but it is a short drive teach or you can use the kayaks to get out and about the lake. The property was nice and we appreciated the enclosed dog run for our pups. Rooms were clean and there were lots of games and activities for us to use. While we were in the property there were some maintenance issues that we had to report to the owner, but Tyson was very responsive and we heard back immediately. The issues could not be resolved during our stay and did impact the experience, but we appreciate the effort Tyson put in. Hoping that the owners make a few needed upgrades and we would definitely stay here again.

House by the lake

My family and some friends spent a few days at this house. It was a great experience all around. From dealing directly with the owner to having all sorts of amenities for all ages. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again in the future. Excellent host, excellent house.

Fabulous and fun!

Tyson was a great communicator and got back to me very quickly. Location was wonderful and we enjoyed the water and nearby beaches. There were things to do for the various ages of our group and everyone was very entertained. We loved it!

Our second year at this lake house and it was as wonderful as the first. Lots of space inside and out, a fun peddle boat for a trek to the Marina, clean and well stocked. The lower level game room is great for kids, teens, and adults alike! Plus, the owners are responsive and kind. Thank you!!

Great home when visiting Yosemite

This home was a great place to base ourselves on our trip to Yosemite (which is a pleasant 30 minute drive to the gates). The house is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Our kids really liked playing outside on the swings and exploring the back yard after a day of hiking in Yosemite while we bar-b-qued. When the sun went down, the whole family ended up in the game room playing together. It made for a really fun weekend for everyone. I don't think you will find a nicer home at Pine Mountain Lake for the entire family to enjoy.

What a fantastic property! We've been coming to Pine Mountain Lake for decades, and this lake house is among the best we've rented. Extremely clean and well-stocked. Beautiful outdoor dining. Great for families

Stayed here with my wife, two boys and my parents. It was a great location and the house was laid out perfectly. We had a great time using the kayak and paddle boat. The boys had a blast with the games and every night was pool game night for the adults. The owners were very helpful and responsive when we had any questions. We are already planning our trip for next year.
