Peaceful, Private 2 Bedroom Apt - Hot Tub, Mtn views -11 mi to Asheville

We invite you to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind in our ‘Little Piece of Heaven’ surrounded by acres of woods, fields, lawns, gardens, pond & mountain views.

Private driveway/parking to lower level of home with private 2 bdrm, full bath apt - 2 queen bedrooms with keyed entrances, TV’s in each room, den with desk and futon (full-sleeps 1). (This is the only area that host has personal affects as this is a semi shared space. Host may access the hall to the den when guests are 'out n about' to use the laundry room).

Kitchenette provides mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric fry pan, toaster, coffee pot, coffee, tea, creamer, starter breakfast, oatmeal packets & snacks, mugs, dishes, cutlery, glasses (beverage and wine). there is an add'l mini fridge in Blue Rm closet for over flow convenience.

Laundry/utility room is available to wash dishes and do laundry if needed.

The patio is a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and soak in the mountain air in the hot tub. Deer come to side yard to feed at dusk. It is weather protected with hammock, table/chairs, cushioned chairs, Weber grill, fire pit and outdoor lighting. Side yard has a "chipping golf range" (wedges and limited balls provided).

We also have an Australian Shepherd-Callie. She is very friendly but does like to do her job by 'herding' visitors at times. A firm NO will send her scurrying, but please be sure to let us know if she is bothering you. She spends most of her time with us in our home upstairs. You also may be visited by one or more of our six chickens. They are free range during the day and like to come and visit periodically.

*We do allow 1 dog, 25 lbs or under, must be crated when not supervised and we ask that they not be permitted to be in or on beds/furniture.

Our home is an easy 20 min. to downtown Asheville, skiing at Wolf Laurel is 14 mi and 10 min to Weaverville with galleries, shops, bakery and restaurants. Also our area provides abundance of outdoor activities: beautiful hiking trails with water falls, views, rafting, zip lining to name a few.
