Host Jean Paul was great and very responsive any time we reached out, provided good recommendations regarding the area, car to airport, etc. Also caretaker Samia was helpful.House, outdoor kitchen, and pool were lovely. Pictures in listing were accurate.Be prepared to pick up soap/shampoo and other consumable items, which were available nearby. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and beach. Able to walk everywhere.Overall, highly recommended.

We were looking for accommodation for a family celebration. We needed to accommodate 9 people near to Cannes centre with a swimming pool. We were delighted with our choice a beautiful fully equipped home with everything you could want or need. A great location that was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed eating outside making the most of the pool and glorious weather. Our host was very accommodating and Samia was there to greet us and see us off. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this house.

Nous avons passé dix jours merveilleux dans cette charmante maison de vacances à Cannes et nous la recommandons chaleureusement !La maison bénéficie d'un emplacement calme et central, à quelques minutes à pied de la plage, de la Croisette et de nombreux cafés. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin paysager avec piscine, une véritable oasis de détente.Les équipements de la maison sont à la hauteur de nos attentes : une cuisine raffinée, des chambres confortables avec climatisation, une connexion Wi-Fi haut débit et un intérieur français soigné et raffiné, aux accents méditerranéens. Tout était très propre et parfaitement préparé pour notre arrivée.L'hôte et la charmante dame sur place étaient extrêmement sympathiques, facilement joignables et nous ont donné de précieux conseils sur Cannes. L'arrivée et le départ se sont déroulés sans problème.Nous y retournerions sans hésiter ! Un lieu idéal pour les familles, les fêtes de famille ou les amis souhaitant passer des vacances élégantes et relaxantes sur la Côte d'Azur !

From the first moment you book this property the experience is great. JP is an excellent host with great communication leading up to the trip. The home itself is better than the pictures show. High ceilings, well portioned rooms and well decorated to keep your eyes interested all the time. We stayed comfortably with a family of 10. The kitchen was easy to cook in and well stocked. Comfortable beds. Samia the housekeeper did an excellent job cleaning and responded quickly for information. The location was an easy walk to main areas in Cannes including the beach and restaurants and the train station so you don’t need a car. The only small concern is the bathrooms are 4 but only 3 toilets and the one the middle floor the toilet is not attached to the wash areas in an older style of orientation. We would absolutely book here again and truly memorable stay in Cannes.

Amazing stay in Cannes

We stayed in this beautiful home for 3 weeks. We had a private chef make dinner. We swam in the pool. Our friends came to visit. We walked 10 minutes to everywhere. The house is perfect. The host was always responsive. It was our dream to stay in a neighborhood in Cannes for a summer. Our dream was realized. We cannot recommend this property more highly.

Wonderful House close to the Croissette

Stunning home with owners who actually care about your experience. Very tentative to make sure we had the best possible stay. The house is delightful and full of charm and character. It’s a short walk to the Croisette but equally hidden and quiet. Perfect stay - thank you JP & Samia.

Nous avons séjourné dans la villa durant le Festival de Cannes où nous avions établi notre bureau. Le lieu est paisible, proche de la Croisette, mais suffisamment excentré pour être loin de la cohue festivalière.Le propriétaire est très sympathique et Samia qui oeuvre au bon déroulement du séjour : courses, ménage, changement de drap est toujours agréable et disponible.

Charming French Villa

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary with a week’s stay including our 3 adult children (30-35) and spouses. We have travelled often to France and wanted an authentic French experience on the Côte d’Azur. We loved everything about this house: Elegant but comfortable furnishings, more spacious than expected. Delightful pool and outdoor dining/kitchen. The photos are accurate. and the host and his housekeeper were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. Incredibly private and quiet although tucked away just 10 min walk to town, Highly recommend for a taste of real life in Cannes, beyond the Film Festival glitter!

Perfect space for our extended family in Cannes

The house way fabulous - full of old style charm with modern facilities. The outdoor kitchen cabana and swimming pool were the perfect places to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The location is just a 10 minute walk from the shops and restaurants, uphill on the way back, but nothing too much for our group. A similar walk to the train station meant we didn’t bother to rent a car & could still explore the surrounding towns along the coast.We lived the house and highly recommend it to others traveling with friends or extended family members.

Amazing stay!

We had a lovely stay at the house, in the hot month of July we had a lot of fun in the pool and enjoyed plenty of al fresco dinners in the lovely backyard. Jean-Pierre and Samia were very quick to answer any question we had! The location of this house is just amazing, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Oh and the living room ceilings are just a cherry on top! 100% recommend!

Absolutely Stunning Rental in Cannes!

I recently stayed at this gorgeous house in Cannes, France, with my family of 12, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house is a design masterpiece, blending modern luxury with classic French charm. Every room is tastefully decorated, with high-end finishes and thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor spaces are where this rental truly shines. The pool area is spectacular, with crystal-clear water, lush landscaping, and comfortable loungers, perfect for relaxation and fun. The outdoor kitchen was a highlight for us. Fully equipped and beautifully designed, it made dining al fresco an absolute delight. We enjoyed many meals under the stars, taking full advantage of the Mediterranean climate. The barbecue grill, ample counter space, and dining area are perfect for entertaining or a quiet family dinner. One evening, a private chef prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Dining al fresco with the entire family, savoring exquisite cuisine in such a beautiful setting, was magical and a trip highlight. The location is fantastic. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, it's a short walk from the vibrant heart of Cannes, with its fabulous restaurants, shops, and beaches. This house rental exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend!

Accommodating

We had a wonderful time at Jean Pierre’s villa in the middle of Cannes! Most importantly, they allowed us to check in / check out as needed, depending on the timing of our trains ! We were scheduled to check out at 12 noon on a Sunday but our train was delayed and we were allowed to stay at the house until 430pm when our train was scheduled to leave at 5pm Note that the house is a bit older so sound travels throughout the house. However there is plenty of space everywhere. Lighting is a little soft. We also recommend mosquito repellent. That said we loved this house. It was close to The Croisette. Walking distance to town. Can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful Villa in Great Location

We rented this villa for a week as a base for the rugby world cup. It was exactly what we were hoping for. A beutiful property with all the amenities you could want. A 10 minute walk to Rue D'Antibes and 5 minutes to a supermarket. The owner was very responsive, as was his housekeeper. We loved it

Wonderful well located home in Cannes

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful house. The house was very clean and spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable. The pool is lovely and cleaned twice a week. The host was responsive and very helpful And it was genuinely important to him that his guests enjoy their holiday. Thank you to Jean Pierre and Samia for all of their help!

Hidden gem

We had such a wonderful time at “Charming House”. It suited our family of 8 adults and three children under three years of age very well. The house is beautifully appointed and exudes French charm. Each bedroom is large, inviting and comfortable. The lounge /dining area is lovely with beautiful art work on the walls. We spent a lot of time at the outdoor dining area which even houses its own dishwasher and easy to use BBQ. The swimming pool was enjoyed everyday by us all. A welcome relief during the hot summer days. Charming House is just a short walk from downtown Cannes. We quickly discovered the local shops and bakeries. We would not hesitate in recommending this gorgeous home to anyone who wants to live like a local and enjoy a special holiday in Cannes. Sami, the delightful housekeeper came once a week. An added bonus that’s for sure.

Amazing home in an amazing spot

This home is absolutely wonderful. Stunningly decorated with a thought out, homely feel. Gardens are exceptional. Also, a wonderful location to the water. The host communicated perfectly and promptly which made our stay a joy. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Amazing villa!

We were stunned at the beauty of this classic 1900 villa, decorated in exquisite traditional European taste. We were welcomed by a pristine turquoise pool on a hot day, a magnificent housekeeper who showed us around, some excellent air conditioning and exquisite furnishings. We were six people with almost a bathroom apiece. Made happy dinners in the well-equipped downright glamorous kitchen, and often ate them in the outdoor kitchen/dining room by the pool. As a house, could not have been more perfect. Pool man and gardener stopped by, also cleaning woman during the week. Though surrounded by apartment buildings, the place was quiet and there was parking for two cars. Our only issue was that some of us older folks have issues with walking; thus the downtown with its restaurants and stores were a strain for some....a 15 minute walk turned into 25 on the way back uphill. That's one reason we had so many dinners at home...and loved every one. Only an issue for people with walking problems. Otherwise, the perfect,, super glamorous and well-supplied villa.
