Cozy cottage with a hot tub on the bay of fundy

This is a little piece of paradise. It has 3 bedrooms, a fully functioning bathroom with a jet tub. A closed in porch and a large wrap around deck with a BBQ and hot tub perfect for listening to the waves and watching the stars. Hi
This cottage is all set up to make you feel completely at home for your stay, with a washer and clothes line, dish washer, coffee maker, full fridge and freezer BBQ and a oven.
Located in harbourville, on the north mountain just above Berwick where you can enjoy the small town restaurants or a pub if you choose. Berwick also has a water park and a play ground for the kids to enjoy on those hot summer days.

The cottage is quaint. The area is fantastic. I feel the upstairs needs an air conditioner not just a fan it gets hot up there making it uncomfortable. The cottage is very cute otherwise.

Friends getaway

This is a beautiful cottage that offered us everything we needed for our two night stay. The owner was attentive to our needs and made sure everything was good. Make sure you visit Jonny’s in Berwick for good food and ice-cream. The sunset was lovely and the stars were amazing. The cottage had plenty of room for us to spread out and relax and the beds were very comfortable. Overall we had a great stay at this cottage.

This cottage was just fantastic. Our family of 6 was very comfortable with the amount of beds, seating and living space (indoor & outdoor). Central location on the Bay of Fundy with great views. Kitchen fully stocked and gas stove & Hot tub were nice bonuses!

Our Mini Family Vacation

This is the second time to this cottage and we love it, especially the hot tub :) Also the grandchildren loved all of the children's books. A short walk to the ocean, and quick drive to the fish market.

Motorcycle trip

My brother and I were visiting Nova Scotia from Pennsylvania on our motorcycles. We just needed a comfortable place to spend the night, cook a few meals, and have a common place to sit around and relax after hours on the bikes. Cozy cottage provided just what we needed.

Perfect Vacation

My family and myself we had a great time. Beautiful view down the road of the beach. The little harbour a minute down the road has a great restaurant and gift store. Cottage very clean has all you need. Owner very nice answers message right away very easy to accommodate anything you need. I highly recommend this really comfortable great cottage. Thank you Jessica

Comfortable cottage NEAR the Bay of Fundy & close to Harbourville

The location of this cottage was convenient for visiting a friend who lives on the north mountain of Annapolis Valley. It was also a short 5-minute walk west along the shoulder of the road to the shore where we enjoyed a stunning sunset over the Bay of Fundy. For more exercise, we did the longer walk east (20-30 minutes) to the very lovely Harbourville where we enjoyed a lunch, ice cream and browsed the gift shop. The air conditioning on the main floor of the cottage, and a portable fan we moved to the second floor, were appreciated on one particularly warm evening. We were a little disappointed that the cottage wasn't cleaner (dust under furniture, spiderwebs in many corners, unpleasant smell to a couch cover); however, it was reasonable. A box of tissues and a kettle would be a nice addition. We didn't end up making use of the hot tub (too warm during our stay), but it appeared to be in good condition. Drifting off to sleep with the windows open to the peaceful waves of the nearby Bay of Fundy was a nice change for two folks from a big city!

Excellent get away

A great spot to gather with friends. Well maintained property you can tell lots of work has been done and lots to come I am sure! Beds were incredibly comfy. We would definitely rebook. Although there is a bon fire pit, wood is not supplied! I wish we’d realized that as we had to back track all the way back into Berwick after arriving and realizing.

Bay of Fundy VRBO

For the most part this is a great property. It was definitely nice to have the hot tub, there was plenty of space with the 3 bedrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. We also chose this property because it had a washing machine. However, it would be good for guests to know that they should bring their own laundry soap. Also, having the wifi password readily available when checking in would save hunting around for it before contacting the host. We would book this property again if staying in the area.

Lovely little place in Harbourville. Within walking range of a couple rock beaches. Modern fridge and stove and comfortable bed and living space. Would recommend bringing a pillow or pillows from home as ones supplied were very thin (my opinion as I prefer a thicker pillow). Jessica was quick to respond to my texts and pleasant to deal with in general. Would definitely return.

Fundy fun

This was a cozy cottage on the Bay of Fundy that owners are in the process of upgrading. Location was perfect… a few things needed to be addressed as in stained pillows needed to be replaced…pipes and electrical wires needed to be covered by a ceiling…All in all our group of five really enjoyed and appreciated what owners were doing to upgrade it … Hot tub was an added bonus.

Surprisingly fun

Well.... What a great location, fun property, full of local surprises. close to everything you would need and more. We had such a relaxing time sitting on the deck enjoying the birds chirping and the ocean breeze, walks along the beach at low tide and watching the tide roll in at the harbour. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience and a much needed reprieve from all the covid-19 stress.

Unfortunately this property was unfinished and full of cobwebs and spiders/bugs. The kitchen ceiling is open with wires running throughout. Air conditioning is downstairs but not upstairs. Fans would have helped for the upstairs as it was hot even with the windows open.

Filthy Dirty

We had to clean the place upon arrival. It was filthy. The owner, after we provided photos and videos of how dirty the house was assured us the "professional" cleaner had cleaned the house, apologized if she "missed a few spots" and offered to clean the house "again" (we had already spent two hours cleaning it). NONE of the house was clean. A couple of days later I noticed the filth under the bed I was sleeping on. This confirmed why I was having difficulty breathing (asthma/broncular allergies). Had to vacate the house one day early in order to breathe. The owner refunded us the cleaning fee and for the day we left only. VRBO's customer service response was "After thoroughly evaluating your request, we've found that the concerns raised do not fall within the scope of matters Vrbo can directly intervene in".Additionally, clothes line is "un-reachable", there was NO umbrella (although it was indicated that there IS an umbrella for the outdoor table) and therefore NO PLACE outside to sit in the shade. We got sunburnt. The house is near the Bay of Fundy, however you have to walk about 10 minutes down and across the main road with barely any shoulders on the road in order to get to it. The Hot Tub was nice. The front door is difficult to lock and unlock. Wifi is hit and miss. The owner's attitude was defensive rather than helpful. My breathing was affected the rest of my vacation. Not happy.

This property is a work in progress. We really enjoyed the location, proximity to the beach and hot tub. But the cottage itself is in the middle of an upgrade, which is something I feel should have been disclosed in the listing. There is a non-functional bathroom with a noisy toilet in one of the bedrooms - there is no wall separating the toilet from the bed and the toilet noise made this room completely unusable. The bedrooms that were finished were nice though, although floors had jagged edges in some spots where they weren't quite finished. The ceiling in the kitchen and living areas has a bit of finished drywall but it was mostly exposed with visible wires, cobwebs etc. A pipe from the upstairs bathroom was leaking into the sitting room. Everything felt damp and smelled musty. If you're OK with rustic, the place is fine. But had I known that I was booking a cottage in that condition, I would have factored that into the price I paid.

Family road trip!

We had a great time staying at this cottage, the water access was a definite plus! Relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the waves crash was amazing. Jessica responded very quickly to all my questions and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would update is the online listing says it has a Keurig but it is just a regular coffee purculator (which I prefer so it was a good surprise)

There was everything you could need. Part of NS I not seen before and was not disappointed. Just a note you need to be sure footed to use the beach but the views there were breathtaking

Wonderful Vacation

We were very pleased with the cottage and the location. A very quiet and peaceful area, with an short walk to the water. The cottage was lovely, with pretty much everything we needed. Loved the Hot Tub, the large deck and comfy beds; and having a washing machine was also a nice addition. Would love to come back at some point.
