Unplug from television and internet to experience how refreshing and renewing life can be! This tiny cabin has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Relax in the glider rockers with a good book in front of the fireplace on those cold winter days. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the beauty of an Ozark farm on warm, balmy summer evenings. Breath of fresh air

Perfect serenity on a working farm on a dead end lane. If you're looking to get away and unplug, this is the place. Cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks and friendly dog and cats. There is a fishing pond and a pristine rocky creek for floating or wading all within a few hundred yards. Only 30 min to Branson if you wanted to go.This is one place I will definitely be back.

We came for my husbands birthday and had the best time! The farm was perfect as always, and Hope and Eric are two of the most genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting! We highly recommend a stay there,! We never want to leave!

Peaceful and relaxing

Anyone planning a trip to Branson should check out 12 Stones Farm. The hosts are excellent, friendly and great to talk to about the history of the property and area. The cabin was amazing, clean and equipped with everything needed... including fresh milk and eggs. We've found our new go to place when visiting Branson.

Super charming cabin!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It is well appointed with excellent temperature control. There is a nearby creek and trail to explore, and a private campfire area to make s’mores and lay out and watch the stars. We spent most of our time at Branson’s entertainment venues and theme parks, but this was a great place to relax, recharge, and explore the grounds when we were not out and about.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this charming cabin. Beautiful and peaceful. We had a chance to relax by the fire and the views of the night sky were incredible. Mr Eric and Mrs Hope were friendly, kind and hospitable. Shout out to Cracker Jack too (Mr Eric's dog). The fresh eggs and milk were a real treat. We hope to come again and get to spend more time getting to know Mr Eric and Mrs Hope and their beautiful farm.

Peaceful weekend getaway

We spent a long weekend at the tiny cabin. The cabin is nicely outfitted with appliances and even little supplies like tea, coffee, and fresh eggs from the farm. The farm is a beautiful property in the middle of the Ozarks. As a guest you have access to a number of beautiful trails that Eric has cut. Eric and Hope are very generous hosts and have put a lot of thought and care into this property. We've stayed in many different VRBO rentals over the years and this is our favorite.

Even better!

My husband and I enjoyed our visit very much. Eric and Hope are very welcoming and treated us like treasured guests from the minute we met. The details in the cabin are even better than you can see/feel in the pictures. Every part of the decor was well thought through and curated to provide a rich experience including the right reading material, snacks, and functional knickknacks. The creek is quite nice and very close walking distance from the cabin. Make sure you leave free time to enjoy it!

Heaven

This place was so much more than we expected. Hope & Eric are wonderful hosts and everything was so clean and perfect when we arrived. If you are looking for rest and relaxation this is your place. It is so quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 3 days on our way to another destination, and found ourselves preferring the farm instead of shopping and sightseeing. It is close by to Branson and Eureka Springs which was convenient, but we enjoyed sitting in the cool river (all day), fishing at the pond, exploring the farm, seeing a baby calf born and seeing all of the homesteading that Hope and Eric work so hard at daily. There is a beautiful garden and not to mention all of the gorgeous flowers. Our cabin even included fresh eggs and raw milk with cream to top it off. We definitely plan to revisit this property again. We are in love! You won't be disappointed.

We Will Definitely Be Back!

The property owners, Eric and Hope and so very friendly and worked continually to make sure we were taken care of and all our needs were met. This place is a hidden gem, but easy enough to find off the main highway. We stayed in the little cabin, which was perfect for 2 of us. Every amenity is available such as microwave, stove, fridge, dishes, pots & pans, etc. and Hope even put fresh cream for coffee and fresh eggs in the fridge for our visit. We stayed during the winter, and Hope asked daily if we had been warm enough at night, offering extra blankets if needed. One night, about 8 pm, we contacted Eric and asked about having a bonfire. Worried we were contacting him too late, he quickly responded, "It's never too late for a bonfire! I'll be right over with some kindling."There are dairy cows, chickens and goats, all within a very short walk of the cabin. I'm a Kindergarten teacher and our classroom theme is "Farm", so Eric allowed me to watch and video his process for milking the cows and bottling the milk. My students will be thrilled!Just a short walk from the cabin reveals a beautiful creek with a walking path next to it that we took advantage of daily. Our experience here made us definitely want to return. It was SO much better than staying in a hotel! If you want a place to get away, rest and relax, this is it--and it is just a 30-35 minute drive into Branson.

Beautiful cabin, wonderful hosts!

I loved my week at Maydel’s Cabin near Forsyth, Mo. The hosts, Eric and Hope, are wonderful people who make you feel very welcome to their farm. I had everything I needed in the tiny cabin and I especially loved having my coffee on the front porch each morning. This is a lovely working farm, with chickens, turkeys, goats, jersey milk cows, fresh eggs, fresh milk, and lots of wonderful surprises for the guests. I spent a lot of time walking near the creek and exploring the farm just like when I was kid! I had a birthday to celebrate while I was there, and it was the perfect place. I loved building a fire in the fire pit and roasting marshmallows under the stars. I really enjoyed the peace and beauty of this area in the fall, it is gorgeous! The cabin is small and perfect for a single person or couple to share but pack light, not much storage space. It is beautifully decorated and very clean and cozy. I cooked every day on the gas stove top and used the toaster, and the microwave. Everything is well maintained and worked fine for cooking and cleaning up afterwards. The hosts live on the property and are very responsive to questions or any problems you might have while staying there. The check in and check out process is very easy. I enjoyed meeting Eric and Hope Bright, they are good people!

God's Country

Hope and Eric have a little slice of heaven, and we were blessed enough to have not only stayed in their BEAUTIFUL cabin, but we enjoyed visiting with them as well. They are equally as beautiful as their property. We enjoyed waking up to a spectacular view of the field, the sound of the cows, the smell of fresh cut cedar, the brisk night air, the coziness of the cabin itself, and the thoughtful touches to make sure we had a special time. They prayed with us before we departed, and we have made lifelong friends in Hope and Eric!

Nothing short of paradise

I came here for some "me" time and to relax and have peace and quiet and boy did I get it!! We are already planning multiple trips back (one with the family and one for me and some other mamas that need to get away!). Hope and Eric and amazing hosts and the property is breathtaking! I had tears in my eyes when I pulled in for the first time because it was exactly what I was looking for and more! I love that it's close enough to Branson that you can get out and do stuff but off the beaten path if you just want to be one with nature! There is literally nothing negative I can say about my stay/ experience there! It's an incredible spot for rockhounds like myself and for creek stomping! Can't wait to bring my kids!

Nature at its best

Excellent location for enjoying solitude and serenity. Quiet and peaceful. Cabin was excellent beyond expectations. Hope and Eric are wonderful hosts and they love to share their farm life with their guests. Fresh milk and eggs are a great bonus. Wonderful and peaceful

Had a great long weekend at the cabin. Eric and Hope are the best at making you feel at home and providing all you need. The property has a creek you can walk/wade in, a trail to walk and quite a few animals to interact with.
