Our spacious two story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is located in a safe family-friendly neighborhood in Baxter, MN. It can sleep up to 8. It’s located minutes away from multiple lakes, parks, and trails. Features an open living room, kitchen, and dining area.

Main Floor:
-Half bathroom with toilet and sink
-Living room with large sectional couch and dining room
-Fully stocked Kitchen includes: pots and pans, utensils, cups, plates, bowls, toaster, coffee maker and coffee, pot holders, baking pans, crock pot, and so much more! If you have specific items you are wondering if we have, please ask!
-Laundry room: has a high efficiency washer and dryer

Second floor:
-Bedroom 1: features a new queen bed purchased in the winter of 2021
-Bedroom 2: has a double sized bed
-Full bathroom: has a shower/bathtub, toilet, and sink. Fully stocked with plenty of bath towels, wash cloths, and beach towels.

Basement:
-Bedroom 3: features a queen size bed and has a connected bathroom.
-Bathroom: has a sink, toilet, and stand up shower. Plenty of towels and blow dryer.
-Family room: sleeper sofa couch with double sized mattress, recliner, TV, and a wide selection of DVDs

Yard: spacious front and backyard, fire pit, patio table and chairs, gas grill and playset

Yearly Family trip to Brainerd

Property was great, located in a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible. Bedrooms wee spacious and comfortable and the open concept main living area and kitchen was awesome. We could not be more pleased!!!

Beautiful clean home in nice neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, there was a welcoming basket of treats and a kind letter written specifically for us. It was a thoughtful gesture. The home was equipped with many kitchen/bathroom supplies and the decor in the home was very nice. There was a nice play area for children in the backyard and additional toys in the basement living area. It was a nice place to stay.

Great trip up north

My wife and I met my Mom, two brothers, and my brothers fiancé for a long weekend up north of the cities. Christy’s home was perfect for what we were looking for. The property was clean, spacious, and had everything that we needed to enjoy our time there. The location was great as well. Close by to grocery stores, restaurants, and a short drive to Nisswa and Brainerd where we spent some time as well. Christy was accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Lakes Jam Stay

Our family of four came to the area to attend the Lakes Jam event. We had such a great stay at this property. Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! Literally, everything. We were able to wash and dry our wet clothes, sleep in comfortable beds, and we really enjoyed the movie selections that were available too. Christy was quick to respond to our messages and questions, and the check in/check out was so smooth. Our stay couldn't have gone better, and we would highly reccommend this stay for anyone.

Wonderful Home and Perfect For Kids

This home was perfect for our visit to the area for a wedding. The basement worked out great for 2 adults and 3 kids, they loved how many cool toys there were to play with. We had 2 other couples, and had plenty of room! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time outside on the gorgeous patio while the kids played on the swing set which was almost like a full on playground! The backyard overall was huge. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Our host could not have provided more hospitality including having the kids beds already set up upon arrival and even the toys out for them to play with. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful property in a family friendly neighborhood!

This property exceeded our family's expectations! This spacious house gave room to hang out as a family while being able to let our little ones nap peacefully upstairs away from the noise. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials & made it very easy to have a comfortable & relaxing stay - they provided anything we could possible think of needing in a "home" setting & the kitchen had more things than I could ever hope to have while being away from my own kitchen! The backyard is beautiful; with a patio, fire pit & a playset/sandbox for the kiddos there wasn't enough time in our busy weekend to enjoy it as much as we would have liked...so we're already planning another trip to stay here again! We felt so welcomed when arriving, Christy & Adam left us a welcome basket of treats & a sweet note to start off our weekend. There was toys for our littles to play with, which made things so much easier for us parents & so fun for the littles as they got to play with a new set of toys while visiting! The neighborhood was quiet & family friendly but still a quick drive to walmart for groceries. We had 2 families staying, 5 adults & 3 kiddos in total & there was still plenty of room for everyone to have their own separate space when needed I could not recommend this property more!

Perfect Rental House

This was the perfect rental house for us. Before our stay we had some questions on what the kitchen all had because we had planned to cook a meal at the house during our stay. Christy responded quickly to any of our questions. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much anything you would need for cooking. They had everything from pots and pans, cutting boards, crock pot, to children’s items. The house is very clean. We asked about different things they had for the kids like a highchair or booster seat and they had them out for us when we got there. They even had a few toys and books in the rooms and basement family room for them to play with. It was really a great touch and helped minimize the amount of things that had to be packed for the kids. The location was convenient for what we had planned. The backyard had plenty of space for the kids to run around and play while the adults sat around the patio table and fire pit. We even saw a few deer in the woods behind the house. Would recommend for families or for adults looking for a nice place to stay.

Fun Space for Entertaining

The backyard & the kitchen/dining room/living room were great spaces for entertaining. There is a bathroom on each level which is great! I think the listing for 10 people is a stretch unless 3-4 of those people are under the age of 5. Even with kids, the beds for adults are in the basement while the beds for kids are upstairs. Plenty of room for 2-3 more air mattresses. Great distance from Gull Lake & the local attractions that the lake has to offer. Overall we had a blast, the house is nicely decorated & had everything that we needed to fully enjoy the weekend. Thank you!

Hi Sydney, I reached out to you privately first regarding your review and the adult limit we have for our property which is 7 adults max and that children are welcome because of our rooms and bed situation. I appreciate you responding back to my private message and I'm glad you all enjoyed your stay. For clarification, I want to respond publicly to make sure any future interested travelers have their questions answered since this is the first poor review we have received. In my private message to you, I wrote how disappointed I was in the low rating we received which is why I messaged you privately right away to see if we could have done something differently. When we received your initial request to book our property and I saw you planned to come with 10 adults, I wrote you right away letting you know we typically only allow 7 adults because of the rooms and beds we currently have and that you were welcome to bring air mattresses to accommodate your request of 10 adults, if you were okay with that because we normally wouldn’t allow that many adults. You had responded, "Sleeping will be no problem. We might not even get all 10 there so it should not be a problem. I also have a single & double air mattress I can bring for extra space. Thank you!" These messages took place within the first 24 hours of your request to book our property and that was 3 months ago so I understand how from the time that message took place to the time you arrived, it might have been forgotten that we typically only allow 7 adults. Still, we are very disappointed in the 3 star review left; hard lesson learned on our end that we should maybe be more strict with our 7 adults max limit next time, even if a traveler says they are okay with bringing air mattresses. We were honestly just trying to be accommodating but we never want someone to be disappointed in their stay either. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise and I hope you made some wonderful memories. - Christy

Staying here was extremely satisfying! Check-in was super easy and fast. The home offered everything you'd need for a stay up in the area. Close to anything you'd need. Overall, great time!

Christmas in July 2021

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! Everything was extremely clean and very inviting!! They even left snacks out for us to enjoy. You left great instructions to follow on how to access the property and checkout. We spent our days on the lake at my sisters and by the time we returned everyone was ready for showers and sleep. So needless to say we didn’t spend a ton of time in the house but that is what vacations are for!! My three year old granddaughter was thrilled with the toys you left for her enjoyment!! And the swing/play equipment in the back yard! Thank you for making this so enjoyable and easy!! I will be sure to pass the word to my family if they are looking for a place close to stay that is only minutes from my sisters.

Clean, beautiful home in perfect location!

We had 3 couples stay here and had a blast! Everything we wanted to do was within 10 miles— golf, shopping, groceries, restaurants, etc. The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and in a very nice neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked, decor is adorable, furniture is comfortable, and the yard/grill/patio were perfect for yard games and a bbq. Owners were super easy to get ahold of and very welcoming (contactless check-in, but they left a cute welcome sign and goody basket). We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!!

Beautiful Property Close to BIR!

I stayed for the June 2021 proving grounds event at Brainerd International Raceway. Spacious and exactly what I was looking for. The host was easy to communicate with and the price was fair for the quality of property. Highly recommend!

Excellent Weekend Getaway

My family and I stayed at this property for my Mom’s 60th birthday. Christy went above and beyond with little touches to make my mom feel special during our stay. The house was spotless. It came with everything you would need. The playground and the toys provided were so much fun for my niece. The location is perfect, close to lakes, restaurants, grocery stores. Overall, it was a great stay!

Adam and Christy work in the healthcare field and have a passion for serving others. They have two children that keep them busy. They love the Brainerd Lakes area and all it has to offer; from endless lakes to boat and fish on, camping, biking trails, numerous parks nearby, to the outdoor activities for adults and children, they love the area and call it home. They both grew up in smaller towns; Adam is originally from a very small town in Northwest Minnesota and Christy grew up in Southwest South Dakota. They have called the Brainerd Lakes Area home since 2013.

They choose this property for three main reasons; location, size, and backyard.
- The location is very convenient to the countless offerings the area has and it is in a wonderful and safe neighborhood.
- They have a large extended family that do not live in the area. This property has hosted many of their get-togethers from holidays, fishing trips, to good old fashion family time.
- The backyard is the perfect size for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee at the patio table in the morning to playing outdoor games to roasting s'mores around the fire pit and enjoying a cold beer. There is a playset with a large sandbox that the kids can play in while the adults watch on and get some time to talk and relax.

This property is in a very nice family-friendly and safe neighborhood located in Baxter. Its location is very close to restaurants, shops, lakes, parks, you name it. It is only a couple of minutes away from Whipple Beach which is one of the only public beaches in the area. The house has three different levels and an open kitchen, dining, and living room. The inside of the home is cleaned with extra attention spent to ensure proper disinfection for guests.
