Enchanting 1939 French Chateau-style home with breathtaking curb appeal located in the heart of Idaho Falls. This one of a kind home features 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath and 1 half bath. The home boasts high ceilings, unique lines and vintage woodwork throughout. Enter the charming turreted entry through a rounded copper door that leads to a mosaic tile entry with a stunning glass French door to enter the home. Enjoy the sunken living room with an open beamed cathedral ceiling, large windows and a gorgeous tiled gas fireplace. The dining room has built in cabinets in each corner and beautiful ceiling details. Hello! I purchased this home in September of 2020. I have always loved this home and grew up across the street as a little girl. I sell real estate and had the pleasure of listing the home for sale. After being in it, I decided it would be a beautiful vacation rental, so I jumped on the opportunity. I plan to keep the home forever and possibly live in it one day myself. This has been a labor of love over the past five months and my mom and husband have helped me entirely remodel this home with modern conveniences while keeping the charm and character of the home! Every inch of this home has been completely painted and restored back to its original character. I hope you will stay with us and enjoy all the charm that this wonderful home has to offer! The home is very cozy and comftorable! Step into the sunken living room with gorgeous wood beams that have been totally restored. There is a TV in the living room along with a gas fireplace to sit and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors through the gorgeous original wood windows. The kitchen just had a facelift and is completely new - it has all the modern conveniences with dishwasher, gas stove and refrigerator. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen that is a lovely place to have breakfast in the cheery French Country Kitchen! Step out the back patio to a walled courtyard with an outdoor fireplace and dining table to enjoy the outdoors. Head up the winding stairway, you are greeted with a huge master bedroom with a gorgeous fireplace (candle lit) that is so romantic. Huge closets and TV to enjoying watching in bed. The bathroom is so full of charm. When you step in, you will notice the swan tiles that are original to the home in the shower. The tub has been resurfaced and is a shower/tub combo. Brand new vanity with sink and a new comfort height toilet. There are 2 additional bedrooms that have full beds that are specious rooms that guarantee a great nights sleep. This home is absolutely breathtaking from the moment you pull up. The architectural charm is something you don't see everyday!
