Just a 2-hour drive from Paris—no tolls!

This traditional Norman house, nestled in a rolling hillside region, is perfect for a getaway with friends or family. It’s fully equipped and can accommodate up to 6 people. It features a large property where you can enjoy the green spaces and the great outdoors.

On winter evenings, cozy gatherings by the fireplace are simply delightful. It’s a country home that’s been cleaned, but it retains its rustic charm!

Accommodation

A typical two-story Norman house featuring an entryway, a living room/kitchen with a fireplace, three bedrooms, a separate toilet, and a bathroom with a bathtub.

The house also features a large, tree-lined lot (including fruit trees) and a spacious outdoor area where you can dine al fresco (tables, chairs, and a grill are provided).

Children will love the swing set and the very large yard to play in.

The property totals 12,000 m². The property is not fenced. In the summer, part of the land is leased to a farmer who keeps a few cows there. They are not dangerous, but we advise against entering the portion of the property designated for them. In the summer, there are still about 2,000 m² available for you to enjoy.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need: refrigerator, freezer, oven, electric stovetop, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and sink.

Cutlery, cooking utensils, trash bags, pots, bowls, plates, dish rack, and baking dishes.

Basic food items (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, tea...) are provided.

Clean sheets and clean bath towels are provided (as well as a kitchen towel and bath mat).

In the summer, you can enjoy the barbecue (charcoal is provided).
In winter, we provide firewood so you can light a fire in the fireplace.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire property and can enjoy the whole house and outdoor areas (they can also pick seasonal fruit from the trees).
Additional Notes

The house is located 25 minutes (40 km) from Center Parcs (Les Bois Francs).

It is also close to Mortagne-au-Perche and L’Aigle.

There is Wi-Fi, and cell service is excellent (3G and 4G).

Pets are allowed.

IMPORTANT: Waste sorting and trash collection in Mahéru

Waste sorting is mandatory and strictly enforced in our region; failure to comply will result in a fine, which we will pass on to Airbnb and which will be charged to you at the end of your stay.

In front of our house, you’ll see an outdoor trash shelter.

The large white trash can is for white transparent bags
containing food waste.
The bags must be closed.

The large yellow trash can is for yellow transparent bags
containing cardboard, paper, cans, plastic bottles, etc. - EXCEPT GLASS
Bags must be closed.

You must not use any bags other than those provided and approved by the municipality, which are located under the sink (any other bags—whether opaque or transparent but of a different color—will result in a fine).

For glass, please take your glass bottles to Moulins-la-Fonctionne, in front of the Gendarmerie, or to the recycling center.

Failure to comply with these instructions will result in a fine of 135 euros.
