Great stay in Mission Beach

Visited Mission Beach for a long weekend getaway. House was as good as the pictures with everything we needed including beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, cart, etc.. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Nice touches like sugar packets for coffee. Great place for a family trip to the beach.

What a beautiful house! It was perfect for my extended family's needs. Our ages were 10-85, so it helped to have a ground floor bedroom and living space. The area was just right as well. The beachfront was too busy for us, but this off street location was both charming and quiet. We were close to the bay side, ocean, markets, and shops. What a genius spot for Amy to locate and share! Thank you for a wonderful wedding week!

This is a beautiful home with every possible amenity and perfect for our annual family vacation. Plenty of common areas and private areas. Fully stocked with beach necessities. Super close to bay and ocean access. Food options within walking distance.

We have been coming to San Diego for 20+ years, and this was the best place we have ever stayed! Big enough for our entire family, air conditioning, perfectly located between the bay and the beach, with all the toys, chairs and towels you need! We will be back!!

Beach getaway

Our stay at this beautiful property was unbeatable. Amy and her family have prepared this home in every way imaginable for a wonderful getaway. Our trip to San Diego was fantastic from start to finish, but for much of the trip we found ourselves spending more of our time in the house and yard than we did out and about! Amy was always quick to respond when I had questions and definitely went the extra mile for us during our stay. Highly recommend this property for those looking for a place where you are not only a renter but a guest in an accommodating and marvelous home.

Amazing place. All the reviews are spot on. Literally not one complaint. Steps to the beach, huge house, so many fun games and beach items, clean, friendly neighbors, prime location. Only thing to note is if you’re staying in the 3rd floor master bedroom, there’s no door leading up the stairs to the bedroom so if your guests are chatting in the morning downstairs and you like to sleep in (like myself) it can be noisy. However, the views and bathroom alone in that master make it all worth it :) Thank you Amy!!

Location and amenities

Walk out the front door and stop at the gate. Turn left and you’re a two-minute walk to Mission Bay. Turn right and you’re a five-minute walk to Mission Beach. This three-level house has everything you need. And it has THREE parking spots. Bikes, surfboards, etc., are in the two-car garage. Bedrooms on every level, including an expansive master suite on the third floor. There is a modern kitchen on the second floor. Great views from multiple decks. We spent a wonderful week at this comfortable house, which is just south of Belmont Park.

Highly Recommend

Location- Fantastic. A one minute walk to the bay or ocean side. A 5-10 minute walk from Belmont park and the iconic mission beach boardwalk. A few minute walk from mission point park. A short drive to get everywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Good food and coffee is a short walk and/or drive away. Parking is scarce so the garage was a big benefit. It’s in the flight path which I personally didn’t mind but some family members did. House- Amazing. Very clean and well kept. It’s full of amenities and has everything you need plus a lot of perks. We had a large family staying and the three large levels allowed us to spread out comfortably. Host- communication was simple and available when needed. We didn’t need to communicate a lot. An email was sent with all the necessary details and their guest website was very detailed and helpful as well. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. We were very impressed and loved our stay.

Perfect Place to Stay!

Our stay at this incredible rental house was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the accommodation comfortably housed our group of 13 with ease. Spacious yet cozy, the layout of the house allowed for both socializing and privacy when desired. We were delighted to find the entire space spotless upon arrival, a testament to the exceptional cleanliness maintained by the owner. This rental boasts an unbeatable spot in Mission Beach. Just steps away from both the bay and beach side.We enjoyed walks on the boardwalk and the sandy beach. The hosts provides lots of fun toys for kids and adults to use at the beach including sand toys, surf boards and bikes. The large cooler in the wagon made it easy to bring lunch to the beach for everyone. Speaking of the host, their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Quick to respond to any inquiries and full of fantastic local recommendations, they truly enhanced our overall experience. The fully equipped kitchen was fantasitc! The high quality appliances, kitchen utencils and outdoor grill, made it very easy to prep and cook delicious meals for our family.

Very nice spot!

Listing was accurate and location was great! Plenty of space for 10 adults as long as two pairs can share a bed and a few people don't mind futons. Front yard is perfect for a barbeque. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great place for our adult children and our grandchildren plus us old folks! Great location , extremely clean, everything you need to make family meals and enough space to take a break from all.the noise a family brings. Location, Location, Location

Our stay was over the top! There were 4 couples & it was perfect for our group! The location is fabulous, a block from the beach & 1/2 a block from the harbor side. It is perfectly situated between Belmont Park with a large parking lot & another parking on the other side. Those areas of the beach were beyond crowded with Labor Day beach visitors, but our section of the beach was not crowded at all. The unit is equipped with everything you could possibly think of. We cooked some & got take out & ate in some. It was absolutely phenomenal! The outdoor spaces on the muliple levels were great as well. We used the cornhole boards & picnic table in the courtyard, sat on the upstairs firepit area in the morning for coffee, took the wagon with beach umbrellas, towels, etc., all included in the unit. You literally have to come with nothing, it is all there for your convenience. We did not use the kayak or the bikes, but they were there, if we would have wanted to use them. 2 small SUV's were able to fit into the garage with no issue. The place was spic-n-span clean! Nice fresh smelling towels, bedding, etc. Air purifiers in every bedroom & the living spaces. It was 90 degrees during our visit, so we were very happy that the unit had air. Beautifully appointed & more than fully equipped. We will definitely stay here again! The owner, Amy, was very communicative & willing to provide something if what we needed was not in the unit, but when we got there and assessed the situation, we needed absolutely nothing! A wonderful family get together

It was a beautiful place, immaculate, well designed, perfect location. A wonderful house for three couples, private and comfortable. Great places to walk, some great restaurants to order out from and go to. We will definitely come back!

We are a local family who loves San Diego and the beach. We love being close and not too far from the snowy mountains, sands of the dessert and of course the crashing waves of the ocean. We are all about spending time together in the great outdoors and we are excited to share this special place with you.

We had been waiting to find a place that felt like home, that we could come to and feel relaxed, but not cramped, which can be hard to find. We love the proximity to both the bay and the beach and all that has to offer. This is a place for families.

Built in 2009, the home is in great condition, and many would say that Parking is a huge bonus. With an oversized two car garage, you can still fit two vehicles and some beach toys and a third spot in front of the garage. With multiple drivers, this was a big bonus. Even the Alley way has decent turning radius. The house was built well and with character. I hope you love it as much as we do.
