Our Cozy Craftsman in Coosawattee provides the perfect escape. Can’t you see yourself relaxing in this nature preserve located in the beautiful North Georgia mountains? The three levels of living space will allow you to spread out while still being together. The two king beds are perfect when traveling with another couple or your adult children. Two additional twin beds downstairs in the fun part of the home. Spend your evenings soaking in the hot tub. The game room has a pool table and a 60 game arcade console so you can brush up on your Galaga & Ms Pac Man skills. Enjoy nights out by the fire and take time to feed the many deer at dusk and dawn.
The kitchen is well stocked and you will find both a regular and keurig coffee maker, crockpot, and blender.
The internet is reliable at this house and we often have 2 tvs streaming at the same time. Hulu Live is provided so you can watch sports, news and weather. There is a desk downstairs with direct ethernet connection so you can work if needed.
Our home can be accessed on two lane paved roads which is definitely an advantage in the mountains. This is a NON Smoking and non pet home. Ring doorbell at front entrance that records when motion is detected.
The included resort fee allows your entire party to access the gated community which includes all 5 parks, access to the River, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills and fishing pond. The Rec Center has an indoor heated pool, workout area, game room, tennis, Pickleball and mini golf. Outdoor pools open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

We stayed at Nora’s place from January 15–19 and had an absolutely amazing time in Ellijay, GA. The Coosawattee River Resort itself was beautiful, and the cabin was nothing short of remarkable. The amenities were top-notch — the hot tub, pool table, Pac-Man machine, and cozy fireplaces made it hard to ever want to leave. Feeding the deer was such a unique and memorable experience. The beds were very comfortable, and the BBQ grill definitely came in handy during our stay. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up for guests. We truly enjoyed every moment and would 100% love to come back again! Our family of 5 had an amazing experience!

This was the perfect last minute booking for labor day weekend. The home was very clean and peaceful. Our kids really enjoyed the pool table/game room. Norah was very accomodating and always checking to be sure we had what we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Even though it rained all of our stay, we enjoyed every moment. Great location, beautiful home and loved seeing the deer every day. Would recommend to anybody looking for a great vacation spot.

Deer watching

The home was exactly as described. We were greeted by deer when we pulled in the driveway. Our 2 granddaughters really enjoyed feeding apples to the deer, playing in the arcade, and swimming at the rec center. We also took the train ride in blue ridge. If you like to see deer, this is the place for you. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.

The house was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might want for an extended stay with all the cabinets labeled to easily locate what you needed. The check in process was very easy. The owner was exceptional and very responsive to our questions. The area was so peaceful. There are deer throughout the resort who will happily have a picnic in your yard. It's also in a great location for exploring the area with just short drives to Ellijay and Blue Ridge among others. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Can’t say enough about this property. Best vacation rental we’ve ever had! From the very beginning, Norah’s communication was immediate and thorough, with directions and instructions for our entire stay, from check-in at the gate and house, suggestions for must-sees, restaurants, stores, etc. It was beautifully decorated, so homey, and the attention to detail was incredible. All light switches and cabinets were marked with labels. There were instructions for everything from the WiFi, all TVs, Roku devices, the arcade, both fireplaces, the hot tub, etc. Norah was just amazing and thought of everything. There were extra blankets, batteries, light bulbs, hand and body soaps in all the bathrooms (not common with vacation rentals; usually they just give you a very basic starter kit), paper towels, extra toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, a bucket of corn for feeding the deer, plenty of firewood for building a fire in the firepit, smore-making ingredients, plenty of DVDs and tons of games. The thing that impressed us most of all was how clean everything was, which is HUGE! We spent mornings feeding the deer, cooked many meals in the fully-stocked kitchen, sat on the beautiful decks enjoying fresh mountain air, hiked, visited downtown Ellijay, Blue Ridge, McCaysville, Amicalola Falls, went gem mining, spent evenings in the hot tub, lit fires in the firepit, played pool and the arcade until deep in the night. Perfect Christmas stay

Cabin was absolutely perfect. The kitchen had every pan, gadget and utensil that we needed. Plenty of space for 3 college age children. Great communication. No negatives with this stay...exactly what we needed

Fun getaway to Georgia

Different from our typical summer beach vacation, this house and this location was just what we needed. We had a wonderful time with lots to do in the nearby area and in the home. If we weren’t hanging out feeding deer, playing pool, cards or video games, we were whit water rafting, zip lining, hiking or visiting restaurants. We will definitely look to go back!!
