Amazing home

The house is great for families, we traveled with our fur babies and it was the perfect house for my whole family, the patio has a covered yard perfect for my dog to run with no leash. That made our vacations even better.

Yosemite get away

There wasn't one thing that I would change about this place. We loved every minute there and enjoyed our stay immensely. It is perfect location to Yosemite and the town is close by where everything you could need is available. Also very close proximity to Bass Lake. You can not go wrong by choosing this as your place to stay. I have rented several VRBOs but none compared to this.

Mountain Getaway

Lovely property. Beautiful deck… Spent a lot of time chatting out there with a glass of wine. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck while watching a beautiful thunderstorm move across the sky. Very comfortable beds. Property was just as advertised. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very cute chalet

My husband and I enjoyed bringing in the New Years at Bonanza Chalet. The house was very clean and organized and had everything we needed and more. Things had labels which I really appreciated . Loved the outside porch area with the jacuzzi. Had a nice inclosed yard for our dog. We enjoyed using the wood stove and hanging out in the living room. It’s also a great location. Oakhurst is a nice town and close to bass lake and places for hiking. Even was a wine tasting place close by we could bring our dog to. I would rent this place again.

Nice weekend getaways

This is a very nice place to enjoy a work free, peaceful weekend, with its wonderful amenities (Wifi, Jacuzzi...). The kitchen is well prepared for all you need. We are very pleased for all the considerations the owner puts on this rental property and thoroughly enjoyed our getaways. We also made the trips to Yosemite during the stay and hiked on some trails that we wanted to hike but never got a chance. The property is conveniently located for the Yosemite trip as it only takes about 15 min to reach to the south gate.

Cozy and comfy

We are two couples in our 60s who stayed four nights with our mini golden-doodle 1 year old puppy. The place is simple but very well stocked and well furnished. Very large and completely screened in backyard. Kitchen outfitted with good quality plates, glasses and pots and pans. Very clean at check-in and check-out process was easy and painless. Close to South gate of Yosemite and ten minutes or so to dog friendly hiking. Also, the stars were smazing.

Perfect getaway

Bonanza Chalet provided us with one of the best rental experiences we have had. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and provided the perfect additional touches to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Yosemite!

Excellent experience

It is close to Bass Lake which was so nice. It was a pretty close distance to Yosemite. The experience was so nice after a long day of hiking. We were able to go in the hot tub during sunset and stargaze. What a nice place!

Great Stay!

Clean and cozy place nestled on the hill side with privacy. Perfect for 6 people… and pet (if you have one). About 1hour 20 minutes to Yosemite Valley and Cury Village. Only thing missing was no ring for a campfire in evenings, which would be a great addition if feasible. Would recommend to others!m

Yosemite Getaway

Wr had a great time at the property during our vacation to Yosemite. We spent most of the day in the park and the property provided a perfect place to recharge. We took advantage of the hot tub and the washer/dryer came in clutch. We would definitely recommend this property!

Awesome Mountain Home

This was a perfect home for my family to visit Yosemite. 30 minutes from the South Gate and Oakhurst is a nice town with plenty of options. The rooms were perfect, beds were comfy, the living room was inviting, and the hot tub sealed the deal. Our host was very helpful and attentive and all amenities were exaxtly as advertised and very convenient. Loved this property.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed the hot tub, the wood burning fireplace, and the instantly hot water when we took showers. My only small complaint is that the pillows were overstuffed and hard, and I couldn't sleep on them. Might want to bring your own. I ended up sleeping very comfortably on the big gray couch. We enjoyed the proximity to Yosemite (1.5 hrs) and Mariposa (45 minutes) for our little adventures each day. The owners provided delicious coffee, creamer, and seasonings for cooking. It was a nice stay!

A breath of fresh air!

Such a cozy and welcoming home. Celebrated a birthday and new years and it was the perfect space for both events. Even with heavy rain throughout the day and night the home stayed warm and had the view was amazing. Definitely coming back for the warmer season!

Quiet Hills

Family had wonderful time at the Bonanza Chalet. Our host Jason could not have been nicer, or more gracious and answered all questions promptly. Wonderful suggestions as well. Chalet has a gorgeous view; wonderful hot tub and comfy beds. Great access to surrounding trails; Oakhurst and Yosemite. Our twin 7 year old girls loved it. Thank you Jason.

Quiet escape with lovely views

This was a nice property with a lovely view. We used to live in this neighborhood and know the area well. It was really nice having a fenced area for our dogs. We did have a problem with the heater settings, but the owner remedied that for us once we brought it to his attention. The owner was very responsive and checked on us while we were there via email. The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable. It rained while we were there, which we loved, but it would have been nice to have had comfortable couches to relax on. We ended up leaving a day early because we were not able to just chill out and relax comfortably in the living room and enjoy the rainy days and evenings because of how uncomfortable the couches were. One of the couches has an area in the middle that sags on one of the cushions. Both couches were hard and not what we had expected after reading all of the reviews. Besides that, it is a lovely property with everything one needs to escape and relax. It was a great place for our pets. The owner supplied a new dog toy for our pups to play fetch, clean dog bowls, a doggie bed, and towels left by the front door to wipe their paws. A very nice touch.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Yosemite

Great property, fantastic location! 25min to the South Gate of Yosemite (and Mariposa Grove) and ~1.5hr to Yosemite Valley (hikes, falls, Half Dome, etc). House is immaculate and very well stocked with all that we needed - very comfortable and very homey! Enjoyed the views from the deck in the mornings and sunsets! Host was very responsive and helpful. We loved staying at the Bonanza Chalet and will definitely try to be back soon!

Absolutely amazing!!!

We had such an incredible stay at this property!!! Everything was just perfect! The spa was so relaxing with amazing views. The deck has plenty of seating to hang out with family and enjoy some stunning sunset views!! The house was very clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook, quality utensils, spices. It was so thoughtful of the host to leave us a welcome bottle of Chardonnay and treat for our dog and also a chew toy!! All of us including our fur baby thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! :) Thank you very much Jason and Pimmy! We definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in this area. Would love to return here and enjoy this beautiful property again :)

This place is filled with happy!

We had travelled for over 6 hours and landed at Bonanza Chalet weary and down. As we pulled in, we saw a family of deer and some beautiful lavender blooming. It was our first sign that this was going to be a respite on our journey. We opened the gate to a glorious sunset. We opened the doors to a welcome basket, including a hand written note and a bottle of wine. Happy artwork, a great kitchen and cozy furnishings surrounded us. The ice maker kept magically producing and the hot tub under the stars provided comfort to our post hike aches. Loved it. Truly.

Relaxing Retreat

The home was a welcoming mountain retreat. Our stay was everything we could want: close proximity to Yosemite and Bass Lake as well as a relaxing place to land at the end of an active day. The property was also perfect for our little furry family member, Pepper: room to run, roll around in the grass and revel in some sniffs.

This single story ranch house is perfect for a family vacation or a friend's getaway.

From the front deck, enjoy beautiful sunsets overlooking the mountains. The front deck also comes with a brand new seven seater hot tub, high top dining table (with 6 stools), a shaded lounge area and a ready-to-use propane BBQ.

The living room includes two large sofas, a 65" Smart TV with apps, and a functioning wood burning stove. The kitchen comes with matching appliances, a dining table for 6 guests and all the cookware/dinnerware necessary to whip up something delicious.
