Very peaceful setting, lakefront in 1 acre of land with a small creek in the back. Newly renovated house with basics to enjoy the lake.
Gentle slope to dock and fire pit - ideal to kick back at nights and unwind. Amazing dock overlooking the lake. Enjoy breakfast on the spacious back that accommodates up to 6 people. Kayaks, paddle board, floaters, fishing poles available to adventure out.
Great location! Next to the main channel, just around the corner of the gas station, easy access and 1 min away from main highway and 1.5 m away from Marina. Only 15 mins away from VIR.
Fastest internet at the lake: SPECTRUM.
Pets are not allowed. If we notice a pet was brought, the deposit will be kept.

Holiday Stay

We wanted place where we could relax while visiting family for the holidays and this place was perfect! The solitude of the off season on the lake was just what we needed. The house met all our needs for a family of 4 and our dog had a blast running around the back yard and playing in the water. Host was very responsive with any issues and the house was updated and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice House

We were competing in a race up at VIR, and this property is only about 15 minutes from the track and on the lake. There’s a nice long dock where you can cast your fishing rod or take out a canoe to explore the lake.

Quaint house and a great vacation

We had a great time. The dock was great to fish off of or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The air conditioning did a fantastic job and the place was very clean. There were plenty of towels available. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall we enjoyed this house. If you are looking for a secluded, relaxing getaway, this is the place for you.

Relaxing

Loved the privacy and location.Somethings need improvement.ex; Cleanliness- there was leftover groceries left in the refrigerator. Long black hairs on and dead bed bugs on master bedroom bed. A/c is old and struggled to keep house a comfortable temp. Had plumbing issues with guest bathroom. Couple beer cans in back yard beside fire pit. We loved the house and the location.Communication with property manager was very quick. Would love to stay here again if the issues were resolved. I’m not happy about paying a cleaning fee since we had to do some cleaning when we arrived that should have been completed before my arrival.Overall,we loved the place and enjoyed the weekend.

Not what expected

Don’t know when these pictures were taken but house outside does not look like this. More then half the solar lights in to yard and dock were not working and house had green mold on it could have been power washed first thing you see walking up. and deck table is practically falling apart the grill had burnt on foil on the whole thing and was out of propane which owner expected us to get , and to fill our own jug of water from water machine in house that we couldn’t even get to work. Shower had webs in it and shower floor could have been cleaner looked like it haven’t been scrubbed good in a long Time, deck had all kinds of webs and spiders in it like no one has been there in awhile. Isn’t that what we pay a big cleaning fee for? Master bed to was hard as a rock , Very disappointed with this property .

Easy check in/check out, responsive owner. Everyone had a great time and made use of all the house has to offer.

Great Stay!!

This house on the lake was amazing! It served all our needs and was super clean and modern. It’s close to a few restaurants and Roxboro isn’t far away if you need anything major. We will definitely save this as a favorite for another lake stay!!

Caiman’s Cove getaway

We enjoyed our recent stay at Caiman’s Cove. It is located close to the marina to buy worms for fishing bait and to Walmart. The home is clean and well furnished including a dishwasher and washer and dryer and two full baths. The 3 bedrooms were perfect since we had both our teenage daughter and son with us. We only looked at places that included kayaks and paddle boards. This had 2 and 1 respectively. The kayaks were high end with places for beverages and fishing rods which my guys loved. The paddle board was short and more like a kids board. It was not as stable as others I have used. But because that is what I enjoy most I made the best of it. In the evenings we enjoyed the prime tv. The house does not have a long set of stairs leading down to the water. The gentle slope is definitely a plus. The wooden board walk is not nearly as long as it looks in photos. We carried the lounge chairs out to the dock to relax there while sunning and reading. There was even a selection of books for us to read. I would love it if it had a more stable adult size paddle board. Ou stay was a much need time away. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
