Nice little place

Overall a great stay for the price could have used more storage for groceries since I cook on vacation but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us we managed just fine. Plenty of room for me and my two girls, host was also very pleasant to work with

A Place at The Beach Stay

I’ve been coming to this beach and staying at A Place At The Beach since I was a kid but now that I’ve gotten older I’ve wanted to have my own space but highly recommend this property. The owners were very nice and responded quickly to any questions I had. The room was very clean and up to date.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

We had so much fun on this trip ! The condo was adorable and just the right size for us. The kids enjoyed the playground and pools on the property & it was so nice to have the beach with in walking distance, which with two little ones was super convenient. Would definitely stay here again !

Place was very clean and easy to access. The property is beautiful. The "second bedroom" was surprisingly much larger than expected.

A great place at the beach!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time and we had a great time! I love how the facility has lots of activities to do along with 2 pools and being ocean front! It's a nice/clean facility and there's always something to do!

Clean, cute condo

Overall, clean and cute inside. It was a good size for 2 adults and a baby. Cooking was a bit difficult - couldn’t find a cutting board or pots/pans, although it’s possible that I overlooked them. Coffee pot also wasn’t functional. The amenities on the property (pools, playground, mini golf, etc.) were great.

Sweet spot at Atlantic Beach

This was a sweet condo for my family of 4. Everything is just as its listed and shown, so no surprises. The space was tidy and efficient. The onsite amenities were nice. The kids enjoyed the awesome pool of course. The beach access was right there. Everything was so convenient. Glad we found this condo on such short notice. Felicia was communicative and easy to work with. Thanks for letting us stay!

This property was clean, modern and beautifully decorated. We had an issue with the AC but the owner is extremely responsive to messages and got it fixed very quickly. The only negative for us was not having an in-suite washer and dryer. They have coin operated ones on site but 3/4 dryers weren’t working on the day I did laundry. This is definitely not the owners fault though and everything else was amazing!

Just what we needed …

Great place, a bit small especially the kitchen. You almost want to yell make a hole when walking down it. The beds were fine the shower head is a bit low but good pressure and hot water. Good view of the ocean from patio. Easy walk to pool and beach. Good communication with Fe…. We will be coming back to the location. We fell in love with the quiet family atmosphere it gives. Make sure to get to Cape Lookout while visiting…. Well worth the trip on the ferry.

Kids loved it!

Our three kids (7-9) loved the pool with waterslide and going to the beach. They were occupied for hours on end. Access to both was easy for us too. 6 of us slept comfortably in the unit. Kitchen is small so any cooking is a bit tricky since it's galley style in the main hallway, but we made it work. Being on the 2nd floor there was one day the elevator was down to lead us to the walkway to the beach which was difficult with a beach cart and cooler (no fault of owner or unit just property detail). Staff at the pool was very nice as well.

Great time at a new beach!

We had a great week at this condo! It was super clean and super convenient to get to the beach! The only drawbacks were that other floats besides the slide tubes weren’t allowed in the complex’s pool and that there was no dishwasher in the kitchen. Overall, it was a fabulous trip!

Great vacation spot!

This property fit our family of 2 adults and 4 kids nicely. The pool was great and has a fun water slide. The beach is a short walk away and the included sun shade came in handy! Fe was fantastic with communication and we felt very blessed to vacation here.

Good family environment, enjoyable!

Great place, clean, and fun! Family enjoyed it. This is a SMALL condo, but we stayed comfortably for a week with three kids and two adults. If you’re planning on cooking for a family do it on the outdoor grills, smoke alarm is very sensitive or go out to eat. Pool was really nice, kids loved the slide! Internet was a hit and miss for some reason but we didn’t need to use it that much so didn’t really matter. Overall, it was a nice stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying with more than 5 occupants. Might get a little crowded if you have to stay inside while it’s raining.

So clean and lovely, just small

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property has ton of amenities that our kids loved (especially the water slide), the beach was quiet and super deep, giving you tons of sand to play in without being right on the water. The condo was remarkably clean (and I am picky), and the host was very responsive to any needs we had. My only complaint is that the kitchen is SO small. The unit is quite small for the number of people it sleeps, but that didn’t create any issues for us. We just had a hard time using the kitchen, and we try to eat most of our meals in when we travel. Everything else was so great. LOVED it!!

Amenities and clean condo...can't go wrong here!!

We love the neighborhood and all the amenities. The tennis courts were recently updated and looked amazing. Our family spent alot of time on those courts and throughly enjoyed them. We also enjoyed the mini golf, indoor pool, outdoor pool and the hot tubs. The water slide was a huge hit for my teenage boys and hubby. My only negative was the master bedroom mattress had no edge support which made you feel like you were going to fall out. Thankfully we had other options and my husband slept in the trundle in the living room. Minor inconvenience when you factor that the condo was clean and well taken care of. Thank you FE for your prompt responses to our questions. We will not hesitate to stay again.

Great Stay!

This cute condo worked out perfectly for my two teens and I. We’ve stayed in this community before and this little condo was super comfortable, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, newly remodeled, and in a superb location. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful Beach Get Away

This particular condo (at a Place By The Beach) is amazing! Updated with modern fixtures and floors, can easily sleep 6 comfortably and 2 bathrooms (a must for families or parties vacationing at the beach). Our host ensured we had kitchen comforts (silverware, plates, cooking pots, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, full fridge and oven, etc) as well as supplied beach towels (4) and beach equipment (chairs), paper towels, etc. The beach is an easy walk with 2 shower stations, but if you don't feel like going to the beach there is an outdoor pool (with water slide) and outdoor hot tube, or you can easily do the indoor pool with hot tube. This place has everything and is close to Ft. Macon (if you enjoy history) and great places to eat. It was nice to spend an entire day at the beach and then come back and enjoy a nice condo with room for my family to stretch out and unwind from the day. There is a bonus walkway into the condo where you can store your beach toys and any spare beach equipment (chairs, tents, umbrellas, etc) with ease (and no fears of theft). Clean, spacious, quiet, with nice views of the dunes/beach, easy entry/access, and kid approved (my 6 and 3 year old LOVED it and enjoy having their own spaces with a TV). The prefect way to enjoy a beach vacation (feels just like home at the beach).
