Although we only stayed one day, we really enjoyed staying in a clean and cozy place! Check in was very easy and the town of Ouray is just breathtaking. We will be back!

Nice place, might be difficult for some dogs

The condo was quite comfortable and clean, we appreciate that it is dog-friendly, and the location can't be beat; however, as others have also mentioned, our dogs were afraid of the stairs, they took a very long time going up and down them each time throughout the stay, and we actually had to carry one of them (a 40-plus pound pup) up and down for the first two days until he finally was willing to do it on his own.

Ouray adventure

Over all very good place. Steep 20 step metal stairs to suite… would put that in listing for people that are step challenged. Lots of room in kitchen, dinning, living, bedroom and deck! Deck lounges are ready For replacement! Grill is ready for replacement. Would stays again!

Quiet and Roomy Condo Close to Town

Very responsive host with excellent communication! This is a quiet, comfortable, roomy space in a very walkable area, and it is close to town. Pay attention to the information from the host regarding the metal stairs to the Amphitheater. Our dog was initially hesitant, but he did master the technique and he made it up and down just fine.

Spectacular Views and Location

We had an amazing stay at Lumberyard condos! The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular from the deck where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and playing cards with family in the evening. The sound of the river added to the peaceful atmosphere. The town is super quaint, and we loved being able to walk to two nearby waterfalls, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure! Cam and Emily were super responsive hosts, thank you!

Gorgeous, new, clean, and secluded condo

We traveled with 2 little poodles to Ouray and we could not ask for better place! Clean, New, convenient, happy, scenic, and secluded condo on second floor with gorgeous deck! My dogs were scared of metalic stairs but later they got accustomed. Colorado homes compared to texas have metalic meshy stairs. 😄😄😄. This is nothing negative just awareness for tenants with pups. We had to carry them first few days 😄… few days later they were pros. We absolutely loooooove the place! Lucky others who will enjoy the condo later. Thank you Cam!!!!

Clean, comfortable and spacious

I had questions prior to booking and responses were quick and very helpful. The location was so convenient we booked two of the units, and there was plenty of room for the family to gather in the evenings. Would return if we travel back to Ouray again!

Perfect for ice climbing

The Lumberyard condos are close walking distance to the Ouray ice park. This was our second stay and we were in an upstairs condo this time. Cam was super responsive and willing to accommodate our three dogs … and even warned us about the metal stairs. The condo was very well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. We will definitely stay again!

Clean and quiet

3rd time staying at this property. Amphitheater view with deck is a big draw. Always clean, quiet and well equipped. Cam is a great guy and appreciated his help parking my trailer.

Great location!

Really enjoyed our first day in Ouray. Loved how we were so close to town. Nice views, easy check in, clean. We stayed in Amphitheatre. The staircase going upstairs is metal and there is kinda an awkward step at the top that made me nervous about one of my kids not paying attention and missing it. If you have trouble with stairs, this may be a challenge. Only negative for us was that the beds were a little in the hard side, but that may just be a preference thing. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Views, Below Average Accommodations

We would not stay at this property again. The porch did have an amazing view, and we really enjoyed our time sitting outside, staring at the amphitheater. However, the furniture outside was not comfortable at all. As far as cleanliness, the tools to the grill had been used and not cleaned. There were dead bugs around all the windows, and the fans were dirty and most likely throwing dust into the air. This is on us, but we did not realize there would not be air-conditioning and it was brutally hot that week. It was very uncomfortable the first night, especially. We also brought dogs, which we really appreciated the property accommodating; however, the stairs leading up to the unit were steep and like a fire escape, and our dogs were terrified to go up and down for three days and three nights. We have stayed at rentals for almost a decade now and I’m surprised this unit has a 4.9 rating. It’s fine and I think for some people who don’t need much it’s going to bean adequate stay. I would have preferred something with more comfortable outside, seating, air conditioning, more updated Appliances and kitchen tools, and less of a hike up and down the stairs. For what we paid, I would have expected more.

An amazing view of the 4th of July fireworks. Very comfortable. Awesome patio to sit on in evenings. Well stocked kitchen. Great for my family. My son found puzzles that kept his attention. I loved the small town and walking everywhere. Great atmosphere.

Ice Climbing in Snowy Ouray

We loved the property. The comfy, cozy 2 bedroom was just perfect for the foot of snow that came down. Views were breathtaking and location was close to ice park, hot springs and delicious eats!

Howdy! We are Cam and Emily, and we hope you enjoy our home! A little about ourselves... Cam dabbles in several different businesses. He is a real estate investor, both long term as well as vacation rentals, and he also owns his own personal training business. His hobbies include flying, hunting big game, snowmobiling, dirt biking, off-roading, working out, volunteering in kid's ministry in church and anything outdoors with Emily and their 2 puppies. Emily works for an interior design company, and helps clients design their finishes in their newly built homes. In her free time she enjoys working out, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with the dogs (and Cam of course!). We fell in love with Ouray for so many reasons. First off, the beauty and ruggedness of the mountains surrounding this little mountain town cannot be matched. Unlike so many Colorado mountain towns that are getting commercialized, Ouray still has a "mountain town" community feel to it. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they appreciate your visit. There are SO many things to do here, and all those activities are at the top of the game when it comes to comparing to anywhere else. ("The Switzerland of America", The "The Jeep Capital of the World", "The Ice Climbing Capital of the US", the amazing Ouray Hot Springs, many people call HWY 550 the million dollar highway, or the most scenic road in America, just to name several) We hope that you will choose to stay with us and experience Ouray through us, and we will do our best to make you want to come back to us again! We also would like to let our guests know that we have 3 cabins in Grand Lake, Colorado, and we love to share those as much as our Ouray (Lumberyard) condos!

We have fallen in love with Ouray. the beauty is second to none, and so are all the activities. How can such a small village offer so much to do, especially for the outdoorsy type? We truly feel that there is not another community like Ouray.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There are several benefits that this condo offers that make this condo offering a complete package. First are the views of the amphitheater, hence the room name. We even added a picture window to capitalize on this and the views are magnificent. The lumberyard condos are right on the Uncompahgre River, and the sights and sounds of it are just awesome. We've even added outside seating so you can take your time to enjoy it. Location. We are two blocks from Main Street, which can get a little busy in the high season. We are nice and quiet, yet within walking distance to everything. Parking. Ample parking is hard to come by in Ouray, but not with us. We not only have off street parking, we have enough parking to accommodate vehicles with trailers.
