Nice Cabin in Great Location

My family of 4 and our dog really enjoyed our stay in Fox Den. The cabin is conveniently located and easy to find. We enjoyed the scenic drives through the mountains. All 4 of us really enjoyed the hot tub. I would recommend this cabin to others.

Peaceful Getaway

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed in these cabins and I can’t recommend it high enough! Very peaceful, very clean, and very well priced. We will be back!

Great place to get away

We only stopped here on the last leg of our trip home to Texas. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations are and the beauty of the area. Was a great place to unwind and chill. Wished we had more time to stay. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful getaway

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The hot tub was so nice, especially in the evenings. It is really close to Lake Ft. Smith State Park, and Devil’s Den State Park is only about 25 minutes away. Both are beautiful parks and have great hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Quiet getaway to relax and rejuvenate

The property is situated perfectly as a quiet getaway in the woods just a short walk from overlooking a beautiful mountain and fort smith lake. The log cabin is budget friendly, neat and clean. Outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub is a real hit with everyone who needs to unwind and relax after a hike. Plenty of hiking trails nearby, fort smith boating and canoeing activities around to enjoy the stay as well. Overall a great place to escape the hustle buzzle of daily city noise! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the short stay and we hope to visit again in the coming year!

Gorgeous views from the hot tub

We loved our trip! With the burn ban we were sad to not be able to use the fire pit because it was cold and the views were fantastic outside. But the hot tub saved the day, what a great combo! Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. I just could never find a cutting board.

Loved this place

Location was great for us because we wanted to be away from everything and enjoy the outdoors. Great hot tub with lots of privacy. We went hiking about 30 min away at devils den. Amazing trails by the way. Property was clean and beds were better than I expected. Heater was broke while we were there but owners said they would be fixing it. Basic needs for cooking were meet. Over all it was a great experience and I would totally do it again.

Meets Expectations

The cabin and accommodations were as advertised. The hot tub was clean and in working order. Just a couple suggestions (very first world issues) …a table/bar-height tray beside one side of the hot tub so one can rest a drink or cell phone would be so excellent; a couple of the dishes in cabinet were less than clean but i know that is more about previous renters putting things away in less than great shape. It is a peaceful location, in a beautiful area, and I enjoyed watching a doe and her yearlings meander through the backyard in the early morning. Overall a great weekend getaway.

Every step of the rental process and stay went smoothly. Everything was as described on the VRBO site. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night because I got really sick and we headed home. Otherwise, a great rental!

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I wanted a weekend away for our 19th anniversary and this place was perfect. We were very close to hiking and enjoyed the hot tub after. I love how the kitchen was fully furnished. I did bring our own groceries because I knew there was not any stores super close. Thanks to the previous reviews, I knew exactly what I was getting. It was perfect!

Beautiful, peaceful , quite and clean cabin.

We brought my husband's 88 year old mother to see the fall colors. It was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in Fox den cabin, which provided her with her own room and bathroom. The cabin was very spacious and the views were spectacular. My favorite part was her getting in the hottub and just hearing her giggles. 😃 We stayed 4 nights but the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you.

Clean, efficient place - great location

Great communication with host and flexibility on their part. Clean place, well described in listing ~7 minutes to great hiking at the state park. As the host suggests, stop and do any big shopping on the way into the area. Would definitely stay again.

Very scenic beautiful area!

Great location, close to several state parks with plenty of hiking trails. Cabin was nice, just the right size for my family. Hot tub was a nice touch for the end of a day of hiking. Really liked the area!

I went hiking at Devil's Den State Park about 30 min drive and I went hiking at Fort Smith Lake State Park about a 5 min drive

Nice cabin in the woods

Very clean and comfortable cabin with a killer hot tub. Nice and private but close to main road. The owner was quick to respond to inquiries.

We NEEDED this!

My best friend of 20+ years and I rented out the cabin to relax for my birthday. We lounged in the hot tub for hours, did face masks on the sofa, and ate until we couldn't anymore. We both have young children and needed a QUIET place to get away - Fox Den exceeded all of our expectations. Fox Den had it all - well stocked with kitchen gadgets for cooking, plenty of pillows, blankets, and heaters for us to be cozy, a perfectly functioning hot tub, and our OWN BATHROOMS! We've already started planning our next mom's weekend and we can't wait to return SOON. Thanks for a great place!

Great cabin in a great area

Cabin is comfortable and spacious with everything you need. And a hot tub!!! It's in a great area of Arkansas and we'll be back! It is in a group of cabins - they're spaced apart but just know it isn't a lone cabin.
