Recently Updated, Spacious Lake House

Spacious, lake front getaway. Located on Northwood Lake close to restaurants, food shopping, ocean (30-40 min), skiing (30-40 min) or even Boston (1 hr) this is the perfect getaway in all seasons. The open concept living includes an open living room, dinning/office area and kitchen, all with lake views. There is also a bonus Sunroom with lake views that offers an additional living space, place for the kids to play and/or additional sleeping options, with the privacy to close off the room. The two bedroom with an additional sleeping space offers plenty of room for up to 8 guests. Washer and dryer included. The recently updated full kitchen includes everything you need to stay in and make full meals or you can BBQ on the deck or venture out to the wonderful restaurants and breweries just minutes away.
Tons of games, puzzles, DVD’s and even K-cups included! This property boasts over a quarter acre which leaves plenty of room for parking your toys, trailers, and friends!
Summer: The private lake front offers tons of space to spread out and enjoy! Enjoy the multiple patios, with the one closest to the lake covered, furnished, and including a fridge to keep drinks and snacks cold! Play/relax on the private beach and catch tons of fish right off the private dock. Venture out with the included Kayak, Canoe, Paddle Boat and Paddle Boards with plenty of life jackets for adults and children. Don't like the water, enjoy cornhole or read on the lounges. Waterfront is shallow for kids to play or swim/float out deeper in our quiet cove. Feel free to bring your own motorboat/pontoon/PWC (two lifts available) to park at the dock and tube, ski and explore! At night enjoy the lake front and dock lights by the firepit. Summer bookings are Saturday to Saturday only.
Fall/Spring: Foliage, located on Antique Alley (featuring the most antique stores in NH), hiking, etc.
Winter: Ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobile riding, cross country skiing (trails, lakes, and ponds all around), skiing (30 minutes away) and more!

We had another great family vacation at the Northwood lake house. Looking forward to another booking in 2026! The lake area is the real star and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the waterfront.

Nice quiet neighborhood, but close to just about anything you would need. The house is clean, quaint and spacious. There is a well-maintained stone step path down to the water. There is a sandy beach, dock and a wonderful gazebo with a ceiling fan and beverage fridge. There are kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe available for use. The owner was very responsive to questions. My family and I had an amazing week here!

Has it all!

This house was even better in person. The owners thought of everything - towels, bedding, paper goods, bug spray, fire starter, spare propane, and so much more. We were thoroughly impressed, made great use of the lake/beach area, and our dog had the time of her life. Excellent place for family and friends with lots of breweries and restaurants nearby. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Family Vacation

This property was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The only downfall was 1 bathroom, but the house was very spacious and the lake property was gorgeous. Spent so much time kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and enjoying family time together. The owners were so nice, helpful and very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous vacation getaway!

My family had a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Most days were spend enjoying the well equipped waterfront - kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, and dock. The lake itself was warm and very clean. We enjoyed the beach with easy water access. Evenings were spend enjoying the gazebo and firepit. The house was great as well with room for everyone. Thank you!

Another great family getaway

We recently returned from our 3rd stay at this fantastic property. Mike does a great job ensuring that all elements you need are available. Our family of 6 (4 adults 2 kids and a dog) had a great time in the water and enjoying some game time when it rained. The rental is well appointed. The improvements from last year really helped with the comfort in the center room. The Lake and beach area are fantastic and we enjoyed grilling and sitting on the deck as well. We have already booked for next year again.

Perfect location

A great spot for a family trip. The home is we’ll equipped and clean but the water front really steals the show. The beach is perfect whether you want to sit in the sun or relax in the shade. The water is clean and the kids could walk really far out without being over their heads. The neighborhood was very quiet but everyone we met while walking the dog was friendly. The owners are very helpful and left detailed notes about the house and places to go in the area. We’ve already booked for next year, can’t wait to return to Northwood Lake.

Pleasantly Surprised…

What a great little house with lots of room for everyone! The house is well stocked with everything you need. It has been renovated and very comfy. The lake is where we were all week. The water is shallow and great for kids, we actually walked across the lake. Don’t get me wrong the water is deep on other parts of the lake. We swam, kayaked and fished everyday. The waterfront area is awesome. You can sit in the shade or sun all day. We had a great week here and would highly recommend.

Great week in Epsom lake house

Very close to Boston about an hour 20 minutes. House was very clean and extremely well stocked, washer and dryer so helpful, very quiet neighborhood, great fishing off of dock We caught so many fish, loved having adult and children’s kayaks, close to Walmart for food shopping, a/c in every room rxcept one Vety cool, tvs in every room with Roku and other Lots of channels, Wi-Fi was free and great, lots of towels, I brought way too many, gas grill to cook every night, kids room with pool table, air hockey, football, Hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. Only cons: lake was not too clean with very mushy, muddy bottomWater shoes are an absolute must and bedroom with no a/c was extremely hot even with the provided fan overall a lovely lake house with generous accommodations We loved our week and thank the hosts for their hospitality!

Family time

We (6adults) had a very nice stay for two weeks. Water front excellent and gazebo with frig and wicker, cushioned seats. House was extremely clean and comfortable. One bathroom, but we all staggered our showers so it worked fine. Had to buy facecloths(only four available) and I bought a pillow for myself as all the others were way too flat. No big deal and left them behind for the next renters. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend you try it. Went to Hampton beach (1 hr) and York beach (45 min.) three times. Owner was easy to respond with any questions I had. Try it, you’ll like it! 😊

Quiet and peaceful

The property was very clean and lovely. Our 7 yo loved the bunk beds, loft and game table the most inside! The area to the water was nice but just be careful on the rock stairs going down. So much room by the water which was great and loves the sandy beach for our daughter. The water was very mucky so we didn’t swim much but did take the boat we rented and swam out further. We couldn’t swim for 2 days due to bacteria in the water so that was a bummer! The host was super helpful and available when needed. I loved having a washer dryer to use. The only things I had trouble with was the grill was left not clean so we didn’t end up using it, I couldn’t figure out how to get the outside lights on to the house and some of the blinds were broken, not able to open well. Very peaceful and quiet which I loved!

Peaceful lakefront

The house was perfect size. A bedroom for my husband and I, one for my dad, one for my son and his girlfriend, and my other son stayed on the pull out sofa which was in a separate family room. Full kitchen with every tool you would need to prepare meals. Full bathroom, nice living room, and a table big enough to play games on our one rainy day. The lakeside was the highlight. The gazebo with comfy furniture and a mini fridge was perfect. The lake was clean, the paddle boards were great, and the fire pit by the gazebo was used nightly. Brought our own wood. However, there was some there. The stairs from the lake/fire pit to house were well lit at night. However, It was very dark in the driveway. I would recommend solar lights. My 77 year old dad had a hard time, not being steady on his feet. I highly recommend this lake house!!! We had a fantastic stay!

Beautiful location & property!

If I have the ability to give more than 5 stars I would. Top notch all around. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, answered all questions promptly, everything was exactly as described and SO CLEAN! The house is beautiful and well kept. We even had a little welcome bag waiting for us when we arrived. There are several tv’s with access to all the apps you need to enjoy your favorites, Wi-Fi access for your devices and even a small game table and many table top board games for some family fun in the evening. Access to the lakefront is beautifully lite in the evening and allows you to enjoy small fires for s’mores or relaxing in the covered sitting area (complete with mini fridge!) paddle boards, kayaks and canoe were all provided, not to mention the sandy beach front area which was absolutely perfect for my younger kiddos. All around this was an amazing property. The owners really thought of everything - you won’t be disappointed if you book here. Our family hopes to vacation here again.

Beautiful Property with Amazing Waterfront!!

We just spent a week at this property and our family had the best bacation ever! The pictures looked great online, but we were even more impressed when we saw it in person! The house was clean and spacious and was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Everything we needed in the kitchen, we found! The owners left a cute welcome gift bag with useful things for us as well. The amazing waterfront area was our favorite and where we spent most of our time. We would float, paddle board and kayak all day and then roast marshmallows over the fire and listen to music at night. There were so many little things the owners thought of and made available down at the waterfront including phone chargers, a Bluetooth speaker, bug spray, the refrigerator and lots of seating. You name it, they had it! The neighbors we met were friendly and the area of the lake we were on was quiet and perfect for being on our floats! Mike responded to all my inquiries so quickly prior to our week starting and we didn’t need a thing all week while we were there! Thank you for sharing your property with my family. We made so many fun memories that will last us a lifetime!

Northwood lake

Property was perfect for my family and furry friends. Plenty of room house was very clean private beach location with kayaks, paddle boards paddle boat. we had most everything we needed. My only suggestion would be maybe different size mixing bowls Mike was quick to response with any questions.
