Tucson Visit

Wonderful property! Close to lots of restaurants and things to do. Close to Pima Air and Space Museum and Saguaro National Park. House was clean and house was exactly as the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable place

Loved the house! The host was quick to respond to questions. Only negative things were I thought the description said all the necessities needed were there. There was no shampoo , conditioner or lotion. And we had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 ladies for 4 days! Not enough, we had to go buy a 4 pack on the last day. Only to use a partial roll because they were “out” according to the host. And the fireplace was just for show, couldn’t use it, which was disappointing. And couldn’t find the trash cans for outside to throw our trash away at checkout. But the house was sparkling clean and cute. The neighbors have dogs that we could hear barking. Not a big deal to us, but could be to some. Overall the place was great with a great location, would definitely recommend, just know to come prepared!

Hi Karen. I am so sorry the toiletries were not left out for you. We do normally have the shampoos, conditioners, extra toilet paper, etc. inside the drawers of the vanities. I would have been happy to open the storage closet or deliver those items to you had I been notified. Also the fireplace is operable, however I do not encourage it for safety reasons as it is a wood burning fireplace.

Great House

The house was great for our family visit. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was close to restaurants and grocery stores. And a good location for visiting Sabino Canyon and Saguaro NP. We would definitely come back.

Not a positive experience for our 2 night stay

During our two night stay, the heater did not work and we were supplied only 4 bath towels when our contract stated that we were a party of 6. Two days after our departure I asked the owner for a refund of one night's stay because of the lack of heat and the shortage of bath towels. In her statement denying us a refund, she stated that we broke her Nest thermostat. We are baffled by this false accusation because the heater was not in working order upon our arrival as she herself admitted when, during our first telephone conversation in the morning after night #1, she placed the blame for our lack of heat on the previous renter changing the settings of the Nest thermostat. If the owner had taken responsibility for the heating issue, we would have accepted the circumstances of our stay as a case of sometimes things just go wrong. But the owner did not take responsibility for the lack of heat and instead placed the blame upon the previous renter and us. Sadly, that leaves us with a negative feeling about our stay.

Hi Laura. Thank you for choosing my home for your stay. I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time in Tucson. I did receive confirmation the thermostat was damaged during your stay and it has since been replaced with a more user friendly model in hopes that future guests do not have any issues with the settings. Also, it is my standard practice to set out enough towels for the amount of guests that are expected, however, I am always happy to provide additional towels upon request, which is what I offered to you as well during your stay. Last minute perfect solution

We were able to book this lovely property at last minute for out of town friends here for a family emergency. It was close to where we needed to be and was beautifully remodeled. It is in a busy area but close (walking distance) to good restaurants, bars & stores. We were there on Halloween night & had LOTS of trick or treaters as the neighborhood goes all out for this holiday. Considering we were there because of unpleasant family matters, this was a real joy! I called the host the first day to ask some questions but was not able to reach via phone or text. Nothing major. Home needs a toaster, can opener, bottle opener, maybe some more utensils.

Very clean and neat

This property is extremely clean, well organized and neat. Modern mixed with retro. Host was great, and you can tell she really thought through how to assemble the property and the amenities. A bit on the noisy side being on a main road, but very close to many stores and shops which is convenient. Starbucks right across the street a huge plus!!
