Pentwater River Frontage Overlooking 100s of Wooded Acres

Welcome to Pentwater! Our River House is located just 1 mile to downtown Pentwater. 1.25 miles to Lake Michigan beaches. The recently remodeled two level house features 2 bedrooms with 1- full bath and 1 1/2 bath. This entire house rental is the only direct Pentwater River frontage rental in the area. Updated in 2022 the house will sleep up to 5 guests. You will enjoy a large front/rear yard with a private quite 250 square foot elevated deck overlooking several hundred acres of unobstructed woods. The 1.5 acre wooded property features 300 feet of direct river shoreline/access. We have a large campfire area on the river with an outdoor gas grill. The house has all the kitchen amenities you will need including AC-Wi-Fi , two separate TV's (upper and lower level). River House is located in a wooded low traffic setting perfect for walks and biking. Bring your own Bikes, Kayaks, Canoes and Fishing Poles and plan your water adventure from the back yard on the river. Thank you for choosing our house!! We hope you enjoy your stay.

Spacious open family room features two large recliner couches and a 40" Smart TV (Roku) coupled with a large dining room table and desk.
Full Bath/Bedroom on Main Floor
Lower level has a second large bedroom - rec room with a comfy futon- 35" TV and 1/2 bath-laundry.

Fabulous View

My husband, daughter, and I loved staying at this house! The view of the river is spectacular! We enjoyed watching the beavers in the river from the deck. The house was adorable and perfect for us. We also enjoyed the close proximity of downtown Pentwater.

Quite and peaceful setting!

We had a wonderful stay on this little river retreat, couldn’t have asked for a better view to enjoy my morning coffee with. The house was well stocked and clean. Perfect location!

Relaxing and lovely stay!

We really enjoyed this property- from the comfy living room in which to hang out and rest and play games, to the riverfront where we enjoyed paddling, it was a great stay.

Quiet, relaxing River House

The River House was recently remodeled, clean, well furnished and everything you needed for an enjoyably week with boys 18 and 20. It’s is close to Pentwater and other nearby towns that offered convenient amenities and activities. Only minutes from the beach, a lovely downtown for shopping and eating, mini- golf and much more. The tranquility of a nightly fire by the river was a great way to end a day of fun with the family. This offers both quiet time away from the hustle of every day as well as the opportunity to be active with the family. The River House was perfect!!

Relaxing getaway!

We loved our time here. Our two kids had a blast exploring the outdoors and looking for critters by the river. They spotted a frog, turtle, chipmunks, rabbit, and many dragonflies. Was a short drive to the downtown Pentwater area and the beach. Hope to visit again!

Pentwater Getaway

This rental seemed newly remodeled and was super clean. The view from the back deck was beautiful with wildlife abundant. Nice quiet setting to relax.

Stay at Pentwater

We loved having the river right in the back, it is gorgeous! We had visited after/during quite a bit of rain and the river was higher than typical, but we still enjoyed fishing and the view. This house is in a great location, close enough to easily visit the town of Pentwater, Ludington, and Silver Lakes Sand dunes. The house was clean, and nicely kept. It was a good place for kids to enjoy too :) the stairs to the basement were a little steep for our 4 year old, but once he got used to them it was no problem.

Quiet cozy place

The house had everything we needed, it was very peaceful and quiet outside. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river was just what I needed. I plan on coming back next year on our next trip.

Great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! It was clean, had everything we needed, and is on a beautiful, secluded lot. Everything in the house is nice and updated as well. Jim was very helpful and responsive to all my messages and took care of anything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to accommodate our family.

The River House had all of the amenities we needed along with a well stocked kitchen of pots and pans for our meal preps. We would definitely consider this property again on our next trip to Pentwater.

Our stay at Jim’s property was so peaceful! The house was beautiful and it was located in the middle of everything so it was very convenient. Thank you for letting us stay!

Beautiful and peaceful.

We enjoyed 4 wonderful nights at the River House. It has everything one would need to enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Close to great little towns like Ludington, Hart, and Pentwater. Next year for our 10th Anniversary we may have to come back.
